Re: OOC Thread

I may have asked this before, but do you want to continue with Grimtooth’s Museum of Death after you finish with this module?  (You won’t need to survive this one to play in the next one).

Re: OOC Thread

Is that another funnel, or will the characters who survive this adventure level up and be playable?

Re: OOC Thread

If you survive this, you’ll level up.  But you can also start at level 0 in Grimtooth’s Museum of Death (which is aptly named).

I’ll probably also run Sailors on the Starless Sea again.

Re: OOC Thread

Things are moving along quickly now, so if you’ve been idle but still want to jump back in, this is the time to do it.

I would like to continue with Grimtooth when we get to the end of this module.

Re: OOC Thread

If I have a survivor I would prefer to level them up and play that character moving forward. If I don't, or if that isn't an option I'd be game for another funnel. Either way, the answer is yes, I would like to continue. I suppose I should wait to worry about the particulars after this adventure is finished.

Re: OOC Thread

I think we are thinking along the same lines, I think there were only four robes, my guys took them and I just posted a message using them but I’m happy to hand two over to you if you want a part in the bluff I’m setting up....my thought was to have four people play off like late arrivals and have the rest duck down.... I’m not sure what else to try :-)

Although if our approach is noticed, and or there’s nowhere for the others to get out of sight on the boat, maybe plan B is for the others to hide their weapons on their person and pretend to be the prisoners of the four in the robes.... (“Stand aside, more sacrifices for Leviathan!”)

If Yeppo’s boys want a robe, I’ll give him one as well.

Re: OOC Thread

I think his Lordship is just a big enough jerk to take you up on that. He couldn't possibly pretend to be a prisoner. That would be ridiculous.

Re: OOC Thread

Gurren will have to provide the list of who has robes for you, Bigred.

Have I overlooked the way to poke a player on this site, or is there just no way to do that?

I’m not sure what you mean by ‘poke a player.’

Re: OOC Thread

Regarding the censer and the incense:  I’m of two minds, I suspect that the real prisoners are from our village and I would like to save as many as we can.... I’m hoping the incense smoke will harm or grant us an advantage somehow over the beast-men/chaos lord.... too soon to play that card?  Do you want to wait until we get closer to the top?

Yes, or at the minimum until they figure out we're not on their side.

Re: OOC Thread

Thank you, let’s see how this starts to play out then....

Btw, I don’t think RPOL has a way to alert another player to make a move other than Direct message.... but I think you also have to opt in to the site sending you an email notification that you have messages :-)

Re: OOC Thread

That's what I decided. It seemed like it would be a good feature to have until I remembered that part of the appeal of PbP is flexible play timing and that one of the things about it that appealed to me was that it is a good way to practice patience. :>

Re: OOC Thread

I apologize in advance, but I will probably be slow to post for the next week or so. I have midterms this week and next.

I'm guessing that Gurren will make the initiative roll again.
