Re: OOC Thread
@Bigredtwenty
I need a rules clarification, please. It was may understanding that when rolling a luck check the idea was to roll under the characters luck score.
The game mechanic I was invoking to listen at the stairs is:
"Characters can make Luck checks to attempt feats that
succeed based on Luck alone. The judge will provide
the specifics of any attempt, but the attempt is usually
resolved by rolling equal to or less than the character’s
Luck score on 1d20." (Core rules pg 19)
In this case, if there were going to be a critical success or failure on the roll, I would think they would be on a 1 and 20 respectively. Since the target is reversed from the norm, I'd expect the results that generate crits would be reversed, too.
I'm not invested in the issue, or the roll, at all really. I just want to make sure I'm on the same page with you on the mechanics.
Thanks!
