I have this image about putting you into a large jar, so I can fly off with you and drop you onto a bad guy from above... SPLAT!!! It would be one heck of a surprise attack!

Re: With No Name OOC CHAT Room

Hey Small Fry, I hope your surgery goes well and you have a speedy recovery.  Be sure to get it in writing that you will be able to play the piano when they get done.  A word of advice, get a good felt tip and write "DO NOT REMOVE THIS PART" on anything you want to keep.

Wise words! I am mostly concerned that they are going to make me into sausages. They're removing intestines so... they might!

Re: With No Name OOC CHAT Room

The surgery was a success, but it looks like a post-op infecion has set in somwhere, so the medics are chasing that down. I am tired, very sore, but glad that part is over. And can't wait to be back on my posting point once again.

Well, I am home again now. Operation seems to have been a success. I am weak as a new kitten and very woozy from the painkillers, but I can begin healing now. Posts will occur as and when I am able!

Re: With No Name OOC CHAT Room

Sorry for not posting sooner but I think I caught every illness known to man over the holidays including but not limited too bubbonic plague, trenchfoot, crotch rot, black lung, pink eye, the creeping hurvy scurvy, and the dreaded ten digit fuzzlefinger.

I think I'm over most of it except for the persistent cough and lung crud.

Re: With No Name OOC CHAT Room

I know how you feel, Malcolm, I get sick every year at this time. Thankfully it was just a head cold this year, but it's been a persistent one.

Anyway, yeah, I'm also back to a normal schedule now that the holidays are over.

Re: With No Name OOC CHAT Room

Just wanted to let everybody know that I will be a few days off. Three or four, probably. I've managed to overstress my vocal cords again and I need to let them recover. I'm very sorry, and I'll be back ASAP!

For those that don't remember — or even know — I can't type without extreme pain, so I use dictation software to make my posts. So laryngitis makes even a small post like this one difficult.

Re: With No Name OOC CHAT Room

Finally broke down and went to the DR to get a prescription for my migraines.  He gave me Imatrex.  I used it for the first and last time the other day.  It did stop the migraine, I will give it that, or at least I could not feel the migraine, but Gods the side effects.  I would have rather had the migraine.  Worse yet, the next day I still felt as if I was recovering from a very, very bad migraine.

Back to square one I guess.

Re: With No Name OOC CHAT Room

I sympathise, migraines can be hell to live with, and the hangover the following day is almost as debilitating. I hope you get something that helps soon!
