Aksa takes a seat behind her desk and motions form Ethan to sit as well.

"Coffee?" She offers on her way to her seat, availing herself of the nearby coffee pot.

As Ethan sits, he notices a few things.

Firstly; The office is fastidiously tidy, she was not kidding about being a neat freak. One gets the sense that a white glove inspection would leave dust, rather then pick any up.

Secondly; She apparently has the thermostat set to 'Arctic Tundra'

A few items of note bedeck her domain. Flanking a low set bookshelf are flags of the Finnish Air Force and the Lapland Air Command (The parent command of Fighter Squadron 11). On the wall between the flags is a portrait of Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim. On the bookshelf is a budding plant (no blooms yet) in a pot that is clearly a spent 55mm shell casing. There is also a coffee pot (CP), full and waiting. A large flatscreen on wall behind the couch displays a snow-filled vista that is likely an image of home.

"Please, make yourself comfortable Lieutenant Ambrose."

"I am good on Joe ma'am, nice office, I guess I have some work to do.  Any problem bringing a little of the outback with me to decorate my office?"

"I see no problem with that." She says as she sips her coffee. "Helps remind us of what we're fighting for."

"So, a few things. On the Maintenance Officer side of the house. I want you to work closely with Lieutenant Levina. She has a degree in Electrical Engineering, and from her jacket knows her way about avionics, so she can help take those issues off your plate."

"On the subject of Flight Command, until we have our rhythm, Captain Lopez and I are not committed to any specific function for our Flights. Truthfully, much of that will be determined by whatever tasker command hands to us. But, we need to find our rhythm fast." She says with a shrug.

"So, to that end, in the meantime I just want to to get your legs under you, identify strengths and weaknesses, and generally run your folks ragged with training and drills. Captain McIntyre will be your go to on that regards scheduling."

She sits in silence for a few minutes.

"Do you have any questions for me?"

Aksa looks down as the chime on her tablet breaks the silence. She picks it up and looks at the new message. "Hmm?"

It's not clear if it's good or bad, as Aksa's face remains neutral.

And then another chime.

And another.

And then one more.

After a moment she looks over the bridge of her glasses at Lieutenant Ambrose.

"Pardon me for a moment." She says then leaves the office for a moment, then returns less then a minute later.

"So, you were saying?"

"Thank you ma'am for the information.  I noticed Lt Levina following your briefing seemed a little set back.  I will definitely get her involved in the Maintenance Department.  Do we have records on our veritechs?"

Aksa nods. "I appreciate it." She says.

"The VF records are in the process of being pushed out to your new ground crew. A copy of it will also be forwarded to individual aircrew by close of business today." She adds.

"We've given you a lot on the plate. If you run into any issues, Captain Lopez and my doors are open." She says as she stands and shakes Ethan's hand.
