I acted on Astrid's behalf (sort of, by giving you the sensor feed from the lander she's commandeering) because she has expressed she may leave the game and I didn't want you folks to have to wait for a response that might never come.

Anyone using the sensor data to fire the beams will need to roll 1 die at first, because the lander's sensors are not that good and the enemy is partially screened by Raptor's hull.

If Astrid returns, she can decide how she wants to improve that, likely by taking off and attacking. If not, I'll NPC her for now and also any of you bridge types can try to refine the data. Working together you can get up to rolling 3 dice pretty quickly.

I'll shoot another message to Astrid and see where this goes.

Sorry, I was waiting for Rintoth, but I came up with something, though not all together helpful. :)

Is it possible for Synthea to speak directly to the Something Else? I'm not sure if androids should be receptive to telepathy.

Hi folks, apologies for another delay. Good news bad news:

Bad news: I've been working 60 hours or more per week between a regular job, running my own business (where I sub out as a writer of marketing copy) and an elected position in local government. Today and parts of tomorrow I will have my hair on fire getting small pieces of several projects done. And the parts when I don't have my hair on fire are going to be when I'm at church and driving.

Good news: I've accepted a position with a local marketing agency as their head of content and will now work 40 hours a week making more money. (YAY!) So my next post will be during the day on Monday (going to Wisconsin for 3 days for a well-needed rest) and then I will post regularly in the evenings, Central Time.
