Hubert House is a former bed & breakfast located on the Eastern slopes of Sunset Hill, looking out over much of the University district from ti's lofty position.

Fans of Sunset Studios television and streaming fiction shows would recognize many of the features of the place, as the front foyer and several of the suites had been used in a lot of shows.

It wasn't exceptionally glamorous.  Most of the B&B furnishings had been swapped out for network-provided sets.  Functional if not expensive.

Toes wriggle.

Legs stretch.

Arms reach.

Eyes pop open.

Virginia's eyes slowly adjust to the golden sunlight streaming through her second floor windows. Throwing the covers back, she kips up out of bed. In her mind a song begins playing and she dances over to the french doors. She throws them open and steps out onto the balcony. Out here she smells a hint of a greasy restaurant on the air, hears the sounds of cursing on the wind, and sees threatening clouds on the horizon. Looks like a PERFECT day!!

In her mind the beat grows a bit stronger. She turns and gyrates back inside. Going over to the hallway door she throws it open, leans out, and yells "TEN MINUTES!!"

Next the beat carries her over to the bathroom. She brushes her teeth, washes her face, and pulls back her hair. After practicing a few winks and blowing herself a kiss in the mirror, she whips around and travels back into the bedroom. She figures now would be a good time to put on some clothing and the search commences.

After a short adventure, she slips on some fresh running clothes and attaches her cell phone to the waistband. Her fingers snap up headphones and sunglasses. Out the door Virginia goes.

Arriving in the kitchen she begins stretching and waits to see if anyone is going to join her.

Cythi was up at an ungodly early hour because that was how she raised and even still she had not broken that process in her mind.  Still it was likely safe at the current hour for her to go see what is going on or to make food...or find food as god only knew she could not cook anything.

As such she went downstairs after she heard the calling for Ten Minutes and uses that time to move down to the kitchen.  Any that saw her the night before will note she is wearing the same clothing.  Not because she is unhygenic but because she literally had very few items to wear and that is something she hoped to fix.  Her options in her wardrobe coffee barista outfits and a pair of sweatpants and sweat shirt.  As such she arrives in the kitchen to see what ten minutes is about and hope it was about food.

Coming in and seeing Virgina though she was not so sure.  "Morning!"  She says smiling.

One should also note that, as a former bed-and-breakfast, it is a professional-grade kitchen.   At it's peak occupancy, they'd have to have cooked for 20-25 people.  Typically, it'd only be breakfast, but they probably offered some "room service" dinner options if given enough advanced warning.

"Morning sunshine!" Virginia greets Cythi with genuine warmth and absolutely no clue exactly how appropriate the comment is. "You look positively radiant!"

Her face glows with way too much enthusiasm but it is rock solid. There is no hint of a doubt to it. She throws her arms up and around in an arc, her hips the opposite direction.

"Ready to go running?" she asks. As she waits for an answer she notices the young lady is wearing the same thing from the night before. That either means she is not going or has nothing else to wear ..... or both.

Before Cythi has time to answer she takes her by the hand and begins leading her back upstairs. Her ploy is to find something in her room for Cythi to wear. "Let's see if anyone else is coming! I need to get my credit card from my room too. Oh my, but you are warm!" she lets go of Cythi. "You feeling alright princess?"

Did she just say Jogging?  Cythi thinks to herself before checking her garb and thinking she is fine for that.

Then she is grabbed and dragged upstairs, "I think I am good to go but yes I am feeling fine.   Why do you ask?"  She says and definitely not sure on some things so decides to ask.  "Also thank-you for thinking I look radiant but why do you think I am warm?"  She decides to leave off why the princess comment but figures she would circle around to that after.

The morning sun rising in the over the Sunset hills is a spectacular sight for 1,000 feet up... something Sandra slowed her progress slightly to appreciate.  She was really uncertain about this 'position' on what amounted to her as a tawdry 'reality-show/sitcom'... that is not what her PR team of lawyers told her it was but that is how it seemed to her.  Something that seemed beneath the dignity of a New Goddess of the Earth... but televanglism was worse by far!

Sandra was standing on her black-mirrored surface of the Hematite-hued Surf-board like stone she used to fly about.  It was indeed stone given motion and flight by her will... and gleamed like a shard of flatten oval-shaped blackened silver in the morning sunrise as she sped along at a 120mph.

She was not clad in her usual Emerald green super hero costume... but this morning worn a vibrant red bikini top and bottoms with a blue wrap-around skirt, golden calve laced sandals, and mirrored shades with a white wide-brimmed sunhat framing her long flowing Emerald Green hair int he wind-shear of her travel.  She carried a large shoulder bag that had a few changed of clothing.  She always traveled light figuring to buy more clothes wherever she ended up.. though she had a couple of homes around the world they were nothing spectacular but comfortable and modest her lodging for the show would be provided on sight.  Half the fun would be purchasing new clothing on-site to wear and fill her living arrangements on the set of the show.

She had achieved a certain amount of fame as her superheroine 'real name' ~ TERANOVAE, fighting the wicked and greedy of powerful... often times labeled supervillains of Freedom City back east. But her PR team convinced her THIS Day-time show... would be a better was to spread her message of the awakening of the New Gods of this era to a wider audience.  She sighed..at what she considered the banality of it all!  She Teranovae did not require worshipers, nor did the fame or wealth from the monetization of her image and grandeur draw her to do what she did ~ these were not her goals. Her divine power was hers alone weather people placed faith or sent prayers to her or not.. no. Her goal was to inspire humankind to greater deeds of charity, Nobility and Equality by her sterling example to stand up to the forces of corruption and avarice making to Stand with like-minded brave souls against the forces of evil, darkness and greed.  To show that Good deeds were their own reward that mortal humanity should follow the example of this Era's New Gods to strive for a brighter and  more mature and civilized tomorrow!

Sandra grimaced at the thought of being ogled by the masses of mindless TV or Cable watchers... but if she could inspire more hearts and minds this way through some ... 'dating show'... 'sigh' she guessed it would be worth the effort.

She flew in over the University District taking in a view of the awakening community then soars up to the heights overlooking it all to the neighborhood of the Hubert House on the Eastern slopes where she would be staying.

With a rush of wind her hematite surf-board floated down to the walkway to the House to hover a mere 5" off the ground before she looked the place over and stepped off to the side walk, lifting her gaze to the upper stories of her new temporary home for the show.

She walked up the pathway to the house her Hematite surf-board liquefying and melting into the ground leaving no trace it was ever there as she ascended the steps to the house she knocked three times and then entered without a word and stood int he foyer looking around before calling out, "Hello, is anyone home?  I'm Teranovae, the new member to the show... can anyone tell me where my room is?"

It is obvious to Virginia that the taller girl is allowing her to lead her back upstairs. Though that is not unusual, most everyone is taller. Plus she not known for giving people enough time to oppose her.

Once at her room she says, "This won't take but a moment. Did you see anyone else stirring? Psh, whatever." She pulls Cythi inside. There are a two piles of clothing pouring out of her closet but other than that the room is fairly well tended.

"If you see anything you want ..." Virginia gives an open invite with a point. She turns her attention to a dresser drawer and begins digging around for her card.

Most all of the cascading clothes are in petites but not everything. Cythi is sure to find something if she desires.

"Ha! Got it!", Virginia turns around with a snap, displaying the credit card like the Olympic torch. "If the others don't want to come along they are snooser losers! We are stopping by Bacon Incorporated. My treat!"

OOC I thought I read something about you always being warm. Maybe that was a draft version. Or I am losing my mind.

"Thank-you but I think this will do as I think this is what most people use to jog in.  I am hoping to some point be able to buy some clothes but since leaving where I came from all I have is the one outfit from there and my barista outfits."  She says hanging her head a bit ashamed.  "Still I can see if we can find a place to purchase more if you know of such place."  She suggests while definitely eyeing the clothes.


"I will definitely take the offer of food though and will even gladly jog with no cheating on my part."  She smiles as she quirks her brow, "Did you hear someone else?  I thought I did?"  She asks hearing another voice.

"I don't "know" a place ... but it sounds like a great excuse to find one!" She does not even register the hint of scavenger eyes. The wardrobe offer was sincere.

"Oh! I did hear sumpin! Did someone fall out bed??" She shrugs and walks into the hallway.

Sandra walks around the Foyer looking up the stairs, "Hello?!? Is anyone here?"

She is a tallish woman of about 6'0" approximately... her build is athletic her legs muscled like a dancer's not quite Amazon in build but fit and slender.  Her golden sandals laced up her calves make only a light shuffle as she moves with graceful and regal poise.  Her eyes are a vibrant Emerald Green matched by long tresses of equally exotic Green hair!

She is a beauty... her Red Bikini contrasting the Green of her hair and eyes.  The azure-hued light wrap around skirt at her waist only partially concealing her slender legs.

She peers up stairs her face framed by mirrored shades at her brow and a wide-brimmed white sunhat pulled to the back of her head.

"Let us go see what it is."  Cythi says as she this time grabs Virginia's hand and guides her down the stairs if she accepts.

When down and seeing the new person Cythi pauses and smiles, "Hello." She starts off with simply.  "I am Cythi."  She would introduce Virginia as well if she followed.

(OOC - Did not want to assume actions for Virginia or I would have introd her too.)

Virginia finds Cythi's grip amazing! She bungles along with her like a kid sister.

Once downstairs the presence of the green haired woman is a surprise! Were they not just down here? She must be in one of the first floor bedrooms. Skirt, sandals, bikini ... swimmer?

She stands demurely while Cythi holds her hand and does the talking.

OOC Oh yeah, it is all good. We are just trying to get this thing rolling.

Cythi then indicates, "And this is Virginia!"

She smiles warmly, "Greetings, young sisters... I am Sandra, also self-named Teranovae, reborne Goddess and daughter of GAEA.  I am for better or worse a new contestant in this tawdry 'supermodel shakedown'...", she rolls her eyes in almost disgust at the prospect and sighs, "..my PR team says this contest will afford me more publicity as a platform for my social messages of Equality, Honor, Justice, Responsibility, and a civic devotion to civilized Peace ~ than just being a colorful hero fighting the unsavory for the public good."

"So here I am... make no mistake I have no interest in 'winning' this contest... as IF some one else's opinion of our individual self-worth has any bearing on who any of us are?  I'll leave the winning and tawdry pageantry to you young ladies if you desire such things.

Sandra casts her gaze approvingly over all the assembled young women... and smiled even more brightly...
"My, you are all so Very Lovely!  I imagine you will all break a few young hearts in time!  Just try to remember girls... love Yourself and who YOU are... and other peoples opinions on beauty or other purely artificial means of judging a young woman will not matter in the least!"

Her eyes twinkle.. but there is no hunger, or desire in their swirling emerald depths... no ulterior motives... she is what she appears with no irony or derision in her tone ~ All somewhat frank Honesty.

She smiles again, "But such things are of secondary concern... could you direct me to a unclaimed room to settle my few current possessions?"

She is bearing only a large shoulder bag.

Virginia is silent, letting everything that Sandra - self-named Teranovae - reborne Goddess and daughter of GAEA said linger in the air.

Her mouth drops open.

She dismisses 99% of what the woman says and after a loooong silence, all that comes out is, "Manic Panic. Electric Lizard." That has got to be her hair coloring!

Sandra crosses her arms at her ample chest and chuckles at Virginia's fanciful words, "...that is a certainly a funny combination expressive words of suprize... the youth of today have such colorful expressions.  A. Room. Please?  Or am I to just search for the first empty one?  I'd rather not mistake one already claimed."

Cythi was almost stunned...no wait she was stunned.  Not because of what she proclaimed as insanity but something that directly ties into her home life.  For that she actually looks somewhat fearful but holds her best to let Virginia interject again.

Sandra smiles up at the two ...speachless girls and shakes her head in mirth, "...it seems I have powers I did not realize!  A Mental Stunning and a Mental Tourette's Affliction!" {chuckle}

"Don't let my exotic-magnificence be too overwhelming girls~", her tone one of lightly teasing mirthful sarcasm than any real claim of self-proclaimed greatness, "... You DO want to win the contest don't you? You'll need to be far more articulate if you wish to impress the 'judges'." {snicker}

She waves them off, "...don't worry about me.. I'll do some wandering about.  I'm sure I'll find a room to my liking eventually."

With that she turns to look at the structure of the downstairs foyer and walks over to a support column her expression one of curiosity.  She touches the pillar and moves her hand across its surface tracing it to the nearby wall.. and a few feet along the wall when she stops.  A very slight tremble goes through the mansion.

And she turns to look toward where the steps to the basement are and ambles that way exploring the house...

Virginia stands overtly motionless, indicating Cythi should do the same! She waits for the T-Rex to saunter off.

Once Sandra - self-named Teranovae - reborne Goddess and daughter of GAEA has lumbered on she turns to Cythi and mouths "Oh...My...Gawd!!" With a nod she gestures toward the back door and begins tip toeing delicately out.

Cythi still with somewhat fear in her eyes and with Virginia saying that and starting to tiptoe out the door Cythi reaches out and grabs her hand as tiptoeing was not good enough.  She actually reaches out grabbing Virginia's hand and initiates a teleport outside the Inn to the back where no one could see them appear.

"She can't be moving in with us!  Please let it not be so!"

Sandra found the stairs down to the basement and sub-basement... tracing her hand along the walls as she went she entered her Awareness state becoming 'One with the Green'... and mapped the entirety of the houses structure... finding support structures and anchoring pylons... steel and concrete... the electrical conduits, water piping and sewage lines walking about the lower hallways until she was at the deepest point of the house... and could 'feel' the connection with the Earth reassert itself within her and the power of the Earth flowed into her.

She smiled, as she mentally plotted where a bedroom closest to the Mansion's foundations would be.

Then she headed that way.

Finding one room on the main floor unoccupied.  Sandra pondered the room... then set her shoulder back down on the bed.  Perhaps, a room or two away the Tech Crew had claimed.

She went to the window and opened it to let the fresh air of the day enter.  Then turned back to take in the room, it wasn't large as she was use to but it would do... with some re-arrangements.

Walking to the center of the room she removed her wrap-around skirt tossing it to the bed and sat down on the floor and crossed her legs to meditate upon the house structure... still "One with the Green", Sandra pondered how she might subtly ... gently shift the house's wall and support foundation to get a slab of stone still connected to the earth under her bed or perhaps to the center of the room without too much disruption of the mansion and without compromising its architecture.

She needed to ponder this... and once she had a good 'feel' for how to do it speak with the House Maintenance or Show Engineers to present her proposal in detailed plans before she did anything.

Virginia is pleasantly surprised to find herself safely outside. She looks at Cythi with a horrified face.

"Did that really pass auditions? What are the producers thinking? Surely that is not real." She begins pacing with one hand on her chin, the other hand at the small of her back. It is a highly practiced choreography and she makes it look rather cute as well. Doing such things so often at her character job has transferred them to her actual mannerisms.

"We have to flip it somehow. It is not a cliff, ...it is an opportunity to fly. If the sky is falling, then we can catch a star!! See ... It's not the end of the world!" She stops, looks left and right, then smiles recalling a song.

"We can use her ... I mean help her make new friends..." She gives a wink. "ESPECIALLY if we don't like them! She could be our best weapon in more ways than one!"

Suddenly she makes a serious face, "But is going to get thug if she barges in on MY bacon..." The tone seems serious.

"Oh, this was a neat trick by the way." Only now does the "magic" Cythi evoked register with her. She holds out her hands and begins doing a digit inventory.

"I will be honest I would not know if they passed auditions as I never took the auditions but was the barista for the crew.  It was my first job since my..."  She pauses trying to think how much can be revealed to this person she had only really just met, "Being on my own."  She decides to leave at that as the history also reveals why she fears the other person.

Still the comment on the 'trick' "Yes I am a teleporter.  Most of my powers are around being able to teleport or something like that."  She smiles at Virginia leaving what Virginia said for the rest to the confusion on her face.  Especially with some of the slang she uses.

"What? Your first...? ... No audition either?" Virginia's hand goes to her forehead. She is obviously perplexed.

Virginia is still thinking of her original purpose here, a career step. She is not focused on winning as much as she is of getting her face on camera and energizing her resume. In her mind all of this 'cocoon' stuff is just temporary, not permanent. She is now beginning to doubt what she thought. Is the show changing? Was it something else all along? Has she made a huge mistake?! She feels woozy and sick. She drops to her knees with hints of dry heaving!

"Bell ... I need my bell ..." She says looking pale.

"I am sorry if I did something.  But no audition as I was part of the crew for the first project."  Cythi says looking around for your bell.  "Where is your bell?  I will get it for you."

"Dresser. Top of my dresser", she sputters in between gagging sounds.

Cythi having been in her room teleports away and goes and finds the bell.  Once it is found or if it is not after a cursory glance she teleports back and hands it over to her.

Virginia takes the small silver bell by the handle and begins chiming it slowly. It sounds out with a clear pleasant tone. As it rings Virginia's appearance visibly improves. After a few seconds she stands up and seems to be more herself.

"Thank you! That always helps. Well, as of recently that has proven to help. I am much better now", she leans in and says, "We can forget that whole episode."

"Where were we?"

"You wanted run and bacon."  Cythi says glad that she looks better but not questioning the bell at all.

"Oh! I love how you think!"

She takes off with a bouncy stride as if nothing had happened at all. She leads them into the city on a route that will go through the fashion district and end at the restaurant.

Cythi happy to just follow and get away from the crazy here.

Enjoying the jog she does see one thing that would work for her as they pass a second hand store, "I can probably get some clothes in there if you don't mind stopping?"  She says reaching and grabbing her debit card preparedness to enter.  "I am pretty sure I can afford this place anyway."  She not fully grasping the full concept of money yet as her job out of home was with this set and that provided lodging and food with no need to spend anything.

Sandra had made as close to accurate measurements as the 'Oneness with the Green' allowed ~ which was ultra-accurate to be sure... but her measurements of the house structure were complex and she had no available paper of pen to jot down notes... so she improvised...

Stretching out her open hand palm up, she concentrated... her green hair stirring and shimmering slightly... as a small tremor shuddered through the house shaking the light fixtures gently as she used her Create power and pointed out the open window and a clump of lawn turf floated in through the window to float above her hand then morph and harden into a grey stone floating above her open palm...

Then it turned inside out revealing a scintillating cascade in the sunlight of a geode impossibly morphing like flowing crystal which her will shaped into a crystal cube a little smaller than her fist... impurities in silicon and quartz with just a hint of diamond matrix formed and shaped again impossibly within the crystal cube.  Change some of the silicate composition to precise photo-transparent properties... a tad of Aluminium oxynitride, and a touch of perovskites in the crystal lattice to the solar cell to more efficiently fill the crystalline capacitors ... and the cube was done.

Now all she needed to do was shine a light on the crystal and it would project her plans with measurements on any nearby flat wall surface and depending upon which facing the light was shined on different notes she has made would be projected upon the surface… a crystal photonic 'notepad', for lack of better description.

Sandra exited her senses from 'The Green'... and was momentarily disoriented as her mind adjusted to being limited to her flesh senses and not one with ... the All of Earth's Geosphere.

She stood and looked around her room...

"Hmmm... this needs a little color."

So once again the house trembled slightly causing the lights to briefly flicker as she held out her hand again to float in a singular brick from the house exterior, it changed shape and consistency as she used her Create power to form a crystal triangular obelisk about 10 inches in length... focusing her will upon the crystalline structure she impossibly added a quad of capacitance structures, and solar cell surface... shaping the internal crystal structure and molecular composition in ways impossible to modern science or manufacturing.  It took about 2 minutes once she had in mind just what she wanted.  Completed the crystal obelisk sat on a square base and rose to a 10' inch triangular sides to a precise Very sharp glass-like point.

She considered, {I Must make a mental note to repair that purloined brick on my next leave from the house...}

Then Sandra smiled at her work... it had taken her much practice to master her crystalline creating art work skills.  She walked over and set the obelisk down on the window sill in the sunlight... which the obelisk refracted and projected the sunlight to scatter a shifting pattern of rainbow hues shifting in a complete fractal patterned about the room.  All day long the crystal would shift its light pattern about the room… simultaneously absorbing solar energy to fill the Quad of crystal capacitors within it structure.  And once the light of the sun faded from view...those same capacitors would release their stored energy to cause the obelisk to glow again scattering a fractal rainbow pattern of light about the room shifting as the quad of crystal capacitor slowly expended their energy... until recharging in the sunlight the next day to repeat the effect.

She chuckled at the fancy.  Leaving the room she made her way down to the subbasement communications room...

"Oh a thrift store. Love these!" Virginia leads them to a stop. As they enter, the door strikes the shop keeper's bell causing it to ring a couple times. Virginia looks up and smiles at it.

"Take your time, I may be a while myself!" And with that she begins browsing the clothing and wares. Now and then she can be seen hopping as she tries to see over the racks.

After a while she appears before Cythi dressed in the gaudiest 60's combination possible! The colors and patterns and white boots clash horrendously! She throws out her arms and says "I am Sandra Psychedelic! Goddess of the Fashion! I have come to help you look as good as this!" She strikes a pose and laughs!

Sandra entered the communications room ~ it was clear practically nobody used this room.  She had hoped there would be sufficient computers down here to use her crystal notepad to formally plan out her potential alterations to her room and the structures under the house to place a stone slab in her room... but there was no ACAD or similar precision program on the computer in the communications room.

She was not surprised… she might have to visit a local library… or better yet invest in buying her own laptop with the needed programs.  She was not very tech savy but she knew the rudimentary use of computers… but THAT would take time.  It might just be better to consult with an engineer to explain her desires for her room.  They were not complex changes she wanted ~ well actually her changes WERE complex, but not for Sandra who could shape and form stone, concrete and metal at a whim in seconds… Something a work crew with clumsy tools would literally take months to complete.

She first decided to do some net surfing, checking her e-mail and browsing the Archaeological forums she frequented.  There was a new dig site outside of Kabul, perhaps some 50 miles south of Tajikistan where some Sumerian artifacts had been uncovered yesterday.  Professor Kanbaru Suruga of the Mesopotamian Studies institute in Athens had uncovered what he named an Ishtar statuette and had written in his blog about the discoveries.  But to Sandra’s eyes the statues’ marking and cuneiform script reminded her more of some depictions of Ereshkigal ‘Lady of the Great Place’.  Adding her own comment to the comments section she suggested it was not Ishtar but Ereshkigal and sited several references in the script and depiction with other examples uncovered in previous digs adding their links to the post. She had conversed with the Professor on other archaeological forums and frequented many of his articles.  She found him insightful but sometimes jumped to conclusions… they had debated back and forth before in friendly professional dialogue.

She browsed a bit more in Archaeological forums, reading an entire article about a new cheaper technique to carbon dating which brought a smile to her… when she was “At One with the Green” she could Always tell how old an object made of Earth’s crust was. Cheating but… not everyone is reborn an Earth Goddess.

Cythi actually when she sees this lets out a snicker but stops herself.  While it can be told she does not know what to do with the person named Sandra...at the same token her good almost instilled in her or part of her being kicks in, "I want to laugh but I am not sure I would like knowing people mocked me behind my back."  She does not want to seem like a debbie downer and hopes Virginia would understand.

At the same time looking at Cythi in the thrift store she seems absolutely stuck and clueless.  The few items she has chosen are drab and not flattering in the least.  All seems to be tan slacks and heavy shirts as if undecided.  Also jogging pants and hoodies.

So to change the subject from the Debbie downer part, "Do you think this is enough?"  It should be becoming fairly obvious she had a very sheltered life of sorts.

Within the gym, Alexey dripped sweat and groaned with strain.  In getting used to the many changes the Glas had wrought, a trainer/guide had suggested a pretty vigorous training regimen to adapt himself.  So, for about two hours a day, Alexey had a rotating series of differing workouts.  Today he was lifting weights.

All the weights.

The room was flooded with Alexey's silver fire, in which the entire collection of disk-weights, barbells, kettlebells, and bars were suspended.  Several of them seemed to be slipping out of his 'grip' as hit attention strained on the multitude of objects, and when he corrected for the lapse yet others sagged.  Yet others slipped one-by-one on and off of weight bars.  Somewhere, a timer buzzed, and Alexey let half of the objects clatter onto the thick mats and began sending assorted gear back to its specific location, and slowed his jog to a cool-down walk.  His breathing was back to normal well before he finished organizing the room and slowed to a halt.

He emerged from the gym in the same second-hand sneakers he had picked up on his first trip to the local second-hand shop, though the basketball shorts and hoodie were both comparatively newer.  Everything he wore clashed horribly, and yet he could still have landed him a Sports Illustrated cover shot.

Alexey paused for a moment, using his well-abused towel to dab sweat off his face and tussling it out of his hair.  He dared not do so while walking; walking was dangerous enough all on its own without covering his eyes.  "Hello.  All finish with there."  He sheepishly volunteered to anyone who might be nearby, gesturing at the work-out room.

"You may laugh freely. I do not mock, I satirize!" Virginia plays it up with a haughty walk and comes over to see what Cythi has picked out.

"Eggshell, taupe, beige, tan, sand ... such a diverse palette of colors.....", she gently applies the sarcasm, vaguely sensing Cythi's "Amish" roots. "If this is what you WANT to wear then by all means do it! We cannot all be Sandra Psychedelic! Are you sure you would not rather have a Go GO dress? They are much more fun!" she swings her hips and does "the swim".

That last comment elicited a smile from Cythi, "No I don't know what to buy.  I only know what I know from where I was raised and even these would illicit punishment if a lady was caught in them.  I know this seems ignorant but I know absolutely nothing about fashion at all."  She admits not really ashamed and putting stuff back.  "I grew up in a cult in Utah."  She admits coming clean.

"I think...." the wiry young man in the scruffy cardigan and scuffed jeans lounged in the doorway as Alexey finished up.  "I think we're going to need to buy more weights."

Archie was one of the Sunset camera crew.  He'd spent the better part of the past week crawling around under the building, in the attic, and even--in some cases--in the walls.  Mostly, he was laying network cables and repeaters, and if anyone showed an interest or asked him what he was doing, he would gladly show them what's there.

He was probably the most tech-literate of the crew. That also made him the defacto IT support for the building.  "Did you at least break sweat with that?"   he asked with a smile.

It was obvious that Alexey had.  One only needed to look at the guy.  So, obviously, it was a joke, a sign of admiration.

"oh..." Virginia drops the sillyness. She stays silent and watches Cythi put the stuff back, giving her "all the room" she needs.

"I don't know what that means but I am sure it is not good. You can tell me all about it later. I promise you one thing though, you are safe with me. I may be .... I do not look intimidating, but just let me see someone messing with you....."

Her words are quite true. She is trying to look intimidating but even then, it still comes across as "cuteish". "You just let me know!"

She takes a breath and downshifts. "So, lets see. If had your advantages... " She eyes Cythi a time or two, grasps her confidently at the hips, measures up her height. Virginia is a fair judge of body contour. The parks were not Nazis about measurements but it was still strict. You had to fit or you were out.

"I would go with stretchy here and a belt. You do not want broadcloth, you have the curves. You need to flaunt them."

Cythi smiles while offering a bit more explanation, "It is why I am not sure what to make of the other girl.  Our leader was as deluded as she was and she has powers to boot.  I just do not know how to deal with it at all."  Cythi says really trying to get over it and hoping she at this point does not need to interact that much.

When Virigina gets through the rest it brings a completely blank stare at her.  "If you want I will trust you opinion to do as you will with me and I will maybe pick one thing I might like to try it out.  But only if you want to as I don't want to make you do any effort that you do not want to.  If you do I will buy the breakfast instead."  She offers a smile at last part.

In reply to Alexey (msg # 39):

Sandra was watching the news feeds looking for more coverage of any aberrant villain activity... when she heard the invitation muffled from upstairs...

She pushes the rolling business chair in the Comm room out into the hallway she calls up the nearby stairs, "No thanks, already looked at them. Those weights are not heavy enough for me!"

Then she rolls back in... catching the tail end of some shooting report on the upper East side of Seattle that has the police baffled.

"No doubt she is delusional!" she says pushing Cythi into the dressing room again. This time with more skin tight stretchy things that make her blush. Yet she knows they are exactly what the other women wear today.

"Try those on while I sort this stuff." Virginia works on a sordid pile of things. "This is some remarkable stuff. This is like Hollywood thrift store stuff!"

"Do not fret over that girl. This is how you deal with it. Ignore it! If you do not like it, leave. I will leave with you. No one can stop you. You are a grown woman now. Out in the real world. No one can tell you what to do. You have rights! And now a friend!"

After a moment she addds. "Wonder what her story is? She might actually need your help. Not even know it."

Cythi tries stuff on and goes back and forth and did not notice that the room had a dress in it she liked from likely a previous person and puts that on as well as putting a bunch of the stuff aside but comes out to show the one she found.



"What do you think of this?"  She says actually liking it and checking it out in the mirror.

"This place is really cool I will agree."

"No on her.  I am not sure what yet.  For now I think it is safer I do as little interaction as possible.  Perhaps another chance but one that I won't be blindsided by."  She tries to attain some middle ground.  "And I am glad I have a friend now.  You right?"

"Yes Me! Is there an imaginary friend I am competing with...OOOOOH I LOVE THAT DRESS!" she replies. "YES! Plus this stuff", referring to a plastic push cart full.

"We can call a cab to get all this stuff back. Now let's go get what we really came for!"

"OK although I could just get us back and here again pretty quickly.  But likely that would be an abuse of powers."  She says as she looks at the pile of stuff and decides that it is likely worth it.  "I will get it all but should I change out or should we just it on?"  She says just as she spots more of these types of outfits and moves over to that area.  "I wonder if I should just put a couple more in."  She says as she sees some and toss them in without checking much other than the tag size.  Once there is a selection equal to what Virginia picked out, "Should I get some footwear although these shoes are super comfy."

"Yes, the more you get the less space there is available for a 'roommate'!" Virginia says, glad to see Cythi finding a hint of a groove. "And you should definitely wear that out." She follows along pushing the cart from behind and grinning.

"I actually would not mind if I had a roommate as being by yourself as bad as this seems is scary to me a little still."  She admits.  "Ok then let us go pay that and get it home.  Should I teleport it there or use a cab?"

"You can do that? Well! While the thought of paying for a cab that has carried who knows what, probably been puked and peed in, driven by some seedy driver does sound especially glamorous ... I say we resist the urge to indulge in luxuries and simply teleport it back! Plus I want to see this again! This is not going to radiate me or something is it??"

Virginia imagines all the conveniences of being a teleporter. Late for work? Nope. Stuck in traffic? Nope. Urgent need go to the bathroom. Right here it is.

After they pay for the stuff, "No it should not irradiate you at all.  It is completely safe so long as I know exactly where I am going which in this case I am."  She offers her hand to see if Virginia wants to come with.  "Shall we?"

If she accepts she will teleport back to her room Virginia in tow, if not then she will teleport there drop stuff and back.

Virginia arrives with Cythi at the house in a burst of laughter!

"Shut up! That is the best power ever! I do not even feel dizzy or anything! Lets get these things put away so they do not wrinkle. And look at you being Miss Thang in that dress! You best be getting your mind ready, people are not going to let you play shy looking like that."

After it is all put away she hints that she wants to go back for ... ya know, that bacon!

In her room the room is spartan.  Beyond spartan actually.  It seems the only personal item that she has is the amulet around her neck.  When she opens her closet all that is in there is 3 barista outfits and one very worn dress.



"Yes I am lucky that way that it does not cause dizziness at all.  It is nice but other powers are cool too.  Still mine is pretty handy though."

"Now we should likely go get bacon but downside is I can only teleport to places I really have been so may have to walk the rest of the way."

Frontierland! That is exactly where that dress comes from, Virginia thinks!

"Well now, isn't that special?" she says. She slides it down the rod to the far end of the closet. "As much as I loved Little House on the Prairie you are in Emerald City now." She places the next item on a hanger and slides it down in front of that dress. "You need to be able to blend in. There is nothing wrong with that dress, it just does not belong HERE. PLUS, they are filming .... SOMETHING here. Not certain what that is now..." She places the next item in the closet and slides it over. "I need to be getting some clarification on that. I am not going to be made a pariah on some third rate show! But that is not the point. I am also not going to let that happen to my friends either. Which means, ... " the next thing goes in the closet "I am going to make sure you look good too! So you either trust me..." she bends over and grabs the next item, "or you don't! Which will it be?" Virginia stands there holding something risque from the pile waiting for her serious answer.

(OOC - I typed up a post here before I left work, guessing I missed hitting post...oh well)

Cythi responds, "I have no reason not to trust you as you are literally the only friend I have so far and in a far better position of understanding this world than I am.  That said I will gladly put on whatever it is you want me to wear."  She says grabbing the more risque item.  "Are you also going to change as I don't want to risk outshining you at all as that would not be fair for what you are trying to achieve here."  Cythi adds.

She then realizes something, "Just out of curiosity though.  I don't think I would blend in with those clothes.  I mean wouldn't the objective be to stand out to be noticed more?"  She asks almost curious now and a bit confused.

As Sandra watched the news she also surfed various web-sites reporting Meta-human crimes.  She was a dedicated super Heroine… and she took hunting down those who would abuse their powers or natural gifts for criminal activity that the modern law-enforcement were unable to deal with ~ Very Seriously!

She noted that the Sentinels had finally busted that Ghostworks Cell that she had jointly and quite accidentally uncovered in Emerald City.  Then she noted a picture posted by Princess on the Sentinel’s web page holding Death Magnetic bound up in… what looked like a fishing line?  No idea how Prin had accomplished that and smiled at how frustrated the magnetic manipulator ‘Death Magnetic’ looked hung by her heels in Princesses’ grip.  Sandra put a like to the pic and commented, “There’s a Princess inside Every young woman ~ except Death Magnetic… she’s just a bitch! Great Work Prin, love Tera!”

She then did a little more surfing about upcoming events in Emerald City… apparently ComicCon would be there this month and there was a report on preparations being made at the convention center … ~ then Sandra noticed something… unquieting.

She paused the fed and scrolled it back.  Then using the Communications sampling focused on one of the entrances to the convention center… and there she was. That was definitely “Aya”. Blonde hair, red hair band, sailorgirl’s school uniform, busty with over sexualized features.  One of ‘Dr. Otaku’s’ – Angel Androids.  It made sense a ComicCon would draw the Young reprobate Dr O’s playful and vicious genius to attack in some way.  “Lord” Takashi - Dr. Otaku often gets bored and that usually means innocent lives are at risk!

Sandra took a screen shot and sent it with a e-mail to the Sentinel’s hotline with the tag ~ "Dr. Otaku’s ~ Aya! This looks like Trouble, Good hunting!”

She leaned back in the chair sighed… a heroines work is never done.

Sandra considered she was still wearing just a bikini and decided she’d best go purchase some outfits and sundries to wear before it got too late in the day.

Shutting off the monitors she made her way back to her room, briefly looking into the exercise gym… before returning to her room…

Virginia pauses to think about what Cythi said. Her logic is sound but not good.

"No, not that!" She snatches back the risque item. "That is foooor ..... nevermind! Just keep trusting me and things will be alright. Of course you could always ask Goddess Blah Blah if you are unsure." She laughs and throws that item in the closet. "Oh!"

"I am not worried about you outshining me at all. You can even be the Queen Bee Supermodel if you want! I am just wanting to get my face out there. Find an actress role in a movie or something you know ... or hmmmm, you might not know. I tell you what, why don't you find some shoes to go with your lolita dress. And I will go do something with my hair."

Virginia goes back to her room for a quick wash up. She returns looking scampy in a mini dress and some Vans.

"All ready to go!"

"Oh heck no we will be avoiding her for a bit.   Besides I like you and trust you.  So I will continue trusting you."  She says before she leaves.


When Virginia does leave she goes into her closet which only has two pieces of footwear.  Some simple shoes that she bought for work.  They are simple and white and at the compound she had actual doc martins.  She looks between the two and figures the simple white shoes would be best and keeps them on.

When Virginia returns, "You look very nice.  I will likely have to find some shoes for this as I have but two pairs really."  She states.  "But yes we should go.  Do you want me to take us to where we were.  Just outside that store and we finish the journey to food?"  She asks holding out her hand.

Virginia looks confused as she could have sworn they had gotten some shoes. Seeing that somehow they did not make it into the little plastic shopping cart she replies "Yes! We should go back to the same place. We can get shoes there are some place else entirely. Does all this playing Figment tire you out or anything?" She makes an obscure reference to something that teleported at her previous job.

She takes Cythi's handing wondering if she should hold her breath or anything....

Cythi takes Virginia's hand and back to the shop they go.

Once in the store she starts to look around but pauses.  "OK I know bacon is prime so why don't you grab a couple pairs you think are good and I will find a few.  A divide and conquer as it were."  She suggests putting absolute faith in Virginia.

At that point Cythi goes back and sees if she can find some shoes she likes and it does not take long.

She finds a pair of Converse green in colour, and ....

"Well the 1860's sure filtered out of you fast! Kawaii? Combat Heels? Yes and yes."

Virginia tosses in some clogs, peep toes, and strap ankles giving her some choices for upscale events.

"It is a good start for the first morning. There is always tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, tomorrow...."

She grins and begins thinking about the menu ahead of them...

"I think you will pass as hip for today. Speaking of which, we will work on that walk next." She forwardly begins handling Cythi. "Chin up, yes like that. Now shoulders back. No, roll them like this." She demonstrates. "There you go, shoulders back. Keep your head up. Now hips foward. No, that is your tummy! Stop leaning backwards. This (indicating her shoulders) needs to line up with this (indicating her hips). How do you make that look uncomfortable?!" Once she finds alignment Cythi would feel stress points fade out.

"Ok ok, maybe we will do walking later. You need to work on standing for a few days." It is nothing new. Virginia has seen plenty of raw talent come in that needed refinement. She can work with it.

Cythi not sure what the song Virginia is singing as she is still getting familiar for TV and movies yet.  But she is happy with the acceptance of her choices.  "Ok tomorrow if needed we can get more.  But that makes me ask if I don't have enough already?"  She asks honestly as she runs the stuff up front and pays for it.

Then there is the walking lesson. Although the shoes she has on are hard enough as she switched to the bat shoes and put her other shoes in the bag that the clerk gives them.  She actually does find it uncomfortable as she was raised in a place where women were downtrodden and walking straight and up was punished as no mere woman should show confidence.  Still she gives it a go but manages to almost stumble but 5 times in like 1 mintue.

"We can practice later.  For now let us go get some food!"  She says actually feeling the hunger.

Sandra returned to her room the rainbow fractal pattern of lights shifting around the room from the window sill obelisk she'd left behind.  Going to the bed she lifted her shoulder bag and emptied some of it contents, alarm clock, travel toiletries {toothbrush, make-up set, lip-stick, deodorant, etc..}, cell phone, recharger, comb & brush... and set about placing them on nightstand or in washroom.

Draw out her laced shoulder shawl she placed it about her shoulders and once again tied her wrap around skirt at her waist ready to go purchase some additional clothing for this new residence other than the plain jeans and T-shirt she'd packed.  Sandra always liked to travel light... and purchase new clothing where she stayed..she hated dragging luggage after her.

She couldn't continue roaming about in just sandals and a bikini top & bottom.  Sun-hat back in place along with her shades and shoulder back on her arm... she gestured and a her stone surfboard of polished hematite formed like liquid quicksilver from thin air beside her.
Stepping onto the floating platform of near mirrored stone she consulted her cell phone GPS..and set course for the nearest fashion mall.

To her silent mental command the surf-board lifted and flew out the window picking up speed and altitude with a rush of wind current and zipped across the skyscape of the neighborhood and suburb.  By silent mental command Sandra kept the flying stone surf-board no higher than 50'ft as she raced along for the Pacific Rim Center on the southside of the Metropolis.

It did not take long for her to arrive flying at a average of 100mph as she descended to the main entrance it caused quite a stir among the shopping mall goers as she came in to land and stepped off the stone surfboard that just turned to vapor and dissipated, as she strode into the mall as if nothing out of the ordinary had taken place.  In this case her totally mundane dress did not keep an unexpected amount of attention other than perhaps folks wondering if she was feeling the chill in the air as she was more dressed for the beach than for Seattle weather.  There were several that had witnessed her arrival.. and quite a few followed her.  But she moved with a purpose and seemed exotic but perfectly normal to all who only saw her window shopping.

Sandra avoided the young girls fashions store preferring more mature fashions... eventually finding styles to her liking.

First a pair of Evening Gowns, an lovely Blue flowing gown with a deep but modest v-neck both front and back, and a black evening gown with a dazzling starfield pattern...



Sandra smiled they were perfect and worth every bit, which she used her cell phone app direct to her bank to pay for them.

She left the store and went to a more casual fashion store.. there were a lot of sports wear but did find a White Business Suit that was professional and still sexy and a pair of green leggings to set it off as well as a Anne Taylor Khaki Safari dress for field work. They didn't have a suitable Safari hat for the khaki Safari dress to some disappointment.



Sandra was quite pleased with the styles... simple modest but still lovely.  She did favor styles that left her legs free to move about the green leggings with the Business Suit a nice contrast in her opinion at least!

She left the girls fashion store also with three pairs of designer jeans for just casual dress... but wanted some T-shirts to got with them. She wanted something..unusual..and playful..

Cythi and Virginia are sitting at Bacon Incorporated having a great time. Special sauce is dripping from a handful of delicious pork decadence in Virginia's hand as she is trying to not choke while laughing about something Cythi said.

Suddenly she stops laughing, her mouth hangs open and her eyes are locked out the window.

"Aye caramaba,
I must disclose a
problem has flown up
Terranovae Craniopharyngioma
has gone over da border"

,she wraps out a forced rhyme then swallows her bite. "Crap Sandra Psychedelic is for real! She just flew over wearing nothing more than a sunhat. Good lord, I half thought she was just a drunk that had wondered in. She looked like she was riding a mirror. I think she landed ... well she was descending so a few blocks away I guess." She stares at Cythi and makes big plate eyes!

Cythi shudders at the announcement as she is enjoying her food as well although her order probably seemed a bit extreme ordering a bacon burger bacon plain with cheese only and nothing else and only if they had other cheese types like mozza, swiss or provolone and a side of bacon cheese fries but only if the same substitute could be applied and no gravy.

"Maybe she will not see us here?"  Cythi suggests even though she notices that they are being stared at and hoping not to many people outside notice the pair lest a crowd gathers there.

Much as she dreaded it Sandra made her way to the Young Women's fashion store... she could not fail to notice  that perhaps the news of her means of arrival has been spread around.. she was drawing looks.  Perhaps, it was just her exotic hair color and beech dress, but she just continued shopping ignoring the looks. No one bothered her so...

In the Young women's fashions she was brief as she could be.. not to rudeness... but she clearly wanted to be done sooner rather than later.  But the t-shirts she found made her smile... the AC/DC shirt was a nice bonus she also found a sweater pull over she liked...





She was about to make her way to the checkout when the young counter girl at the cosmetics booth called to her, "Oh nice choices, but don't want to check out some cosmetics to accent eve~ {Gasp}... your Hair is AMAZING! You should so do some green lipstick!"

Sandra smiled and turned to look at the displayed cosmetics, her attention drawn.
So she stepped over and looked over the products, "Thank you, but I rarely use much make-up.. but you do have a point about the green lipstick.. maybe..."

Sandra looked at a color chart to compare in the stand mirror... and picked out Green, Black and red lipstick sets.

The girl smiled then her eyes went wide, "...your hair is it .. naturally green?!? I can see from your roots, eyebrows and eyelashes..they are all green!  A-are you one of those Meta-humans?"

Sandra replied, "I'm am often times called such.  But I'm actually a newly borne Earth Goddess..", and winked at the counter girl smiling.

The girl's eyes went wide and she laughed, "Oh your something else al-right! Are those your selections? You MUST pick out so finger mail polish as well!"

Then she looked at Sandra's plain trimmed nails, "You always cut your nails so short? Oh! You should let them grow out and color them!"

Sandra was not sure the countergirl whose name tag was 'SANDY', believed her but her belief was not required and replied, "Oh deary, I can punch a Hole in the side of a Battleship when I want the strength to do so... that's just not very conducive to long elegant nails.  Tried it before, kept breaking nails on the jaws of super-criminals!  Just too much work to maintain, but.. yeah a little color couldn't hurt for parties and such. Right?"

Sandy, just had a shocked expression...clearly not sure how to take it.. but she was a pro at customer service and went for the Sale, "...uhm..well certainly!  All Goddesses have to look their best? Aheh?!?"

Sandra smiled, and picked out again Green, Black and Red Nail polish, "Thank you, Sandy... your good at this.  See you around!"

Sandy beamed brightly at her making the sale as Sandra went through checkout.

Sandra pondered perhaps some shoes when she spotted a SUN COAST Store... with all sorts of Anime' merchandise ... a guilty pleasure of Sandra's she had to stop in...

And ended up leaving with three more shirts a Power Ranger "Girl-Power" shirt, a beautiful NGE shirt of Asuka, and a RWBY shirt with Ruby Rose...



Her packages were getting cumbersome so she created a very small version of her hematite surfboard this only a couple feet in diameter that folded up with 'railing' to hold the boxes in place, that floated some 5 inches above the ground and followed her around. The nerds int he SUN COAST Store all gasped and watched as she strode away with the little platform following her... but were all apparently too shy to confront her... though some followed at a distance.

To the rest of the shoppers Sandra poses no flashy distraction other than her hair and beech clothing the little platform that hovered near and followed her most though it was some kind of cool tech gimmick... most were too self-absorbed in their own purchases and conversations to notice the strangeness...which suited Sandra just fine.

Sandra had to look around a bit for a shoe store past the food court to her annoyance.

But when she did find the women's shoe store she was quite pleased with what they had available... and quickly made her purchases...
A pair of stylish brown field boots for dig work, a pair of short heel sandals, a pair of Women's Sanzi Black Booties, Women's lace up strapy Sandals, Women's Red Lace up Tassel Stilleto Heels Strapy Sandals, and finally Women's Lace Stiletto Heel Peep Toe Platform Sandals.

Then she pondered yeah.. she had a thing for sandals.. but so what she liked what she liked!





Sandra yawned she had in her opinion a nice selection of clothing to mix and match for her time at the Hubert House.

Virginia is about to take another 1,000 calorie bite when she notices people staring at their table as well. Mostly at Cythi really, for her outstanding good looks. Or it might be at Virginia, for how much a woman her size can eat!

She sighs. Cythi is another princess. But it is alright. She deserves her time to shine.

Then she reminds herself why you never see a princess doing flips at 189 feet ... and 35mph ... on a pencil thin zip line!

She smirks and opens her mouth for the next bite!

"I will be surprised if Miss Thang even "sees" us at all. And if she does, the best thing to do is to be nice to her. Or at least pretend to try. But don't tell her about this place! A woman her size could cripple the nation's bacon industry!" She begins laughing.

Cythi continues to eat and actually orders another round of side bacon as she too continues to dig in to the food without a single care of how much this looks like can be downed.  "I had never thought of that.  Then we must protect the bacon.  It is delightful thing."  She says eating more.  "To be honest this is the first time I have ever had bacon and I have to admit this has to one of the best things I have ever had."  She smiles.  "Thank-you for sharing this and if there is any time I see you down I know where to bring you."

"That said you have given me so much and we have just met.  Is there anything I can do to repay you?"

Virginia slurps at her coke zero. Her eyes roll around as she tries to think of the repayment for revealing the wonders of bacon. Hmm, none is required. But then she blurts out,

"Tittie Tacos!"

The look on Cythi's face might have been priceless as she it is obvious she is trying to figure out exactly what it is Virginia had said.  It takes a moment before she asks, "Okay I will gladly do that but I have to ask.  What is a Tittie Taco?"  She asks confused to all heck.

"Tittie Tacos!" Virginia throws up her arms as if confirming a field goal attempt!

"Tina's Tiny Taco Hut! If you want to thank me, then you have to go with me to eat at Tina's Tiny Taco Hut! Do ... do you know what Mexican food is??" She pauses for Cythi to answer.

"This place is authentic Mexican now, not that pretend Mexican junk. Lots of flavors, choices, and nothing is really that spicy. And oh the cheese! It is delicious! That shredded stuff you get at the grocery store? Not Mexican. Tina's is so much different. And they have drink specials on Tuesday nights and usually there is some swarmy young man playing guitar and singing. He is not that good at singing but he thinks he is, which makes it even more fun!" She laughs.

Sandra took inventory of all her purchases... this would do nicely and perhaps not startle people as much as her Goddess regalia she wore when fighting the wicked.  She WAS disappointed that cloaks and capes were not in the fashions of the day.

She turned to make her way to the main entrance she had used and before.. her small stone platform heavily laden with her packages was almost totally obscured by the four foot pile of boxes, most observers would have thought perhaps she had some ultra-cool shopping robotic carrylift hauling the packages around after her as the wheels were obscured by the bulk of packages not realizing the platform was actually hovering about 4 inches above the ground with no support at all.

Sandra still drew a lot of attention regardless for her stunning looks and exotic hair.. she mostly tried to ignore all the attention and made her way through the food court...

And saw them at a table there... both Virginia and Cythi.

She approached within 10'ft of them as she passes by and waved smiling cordially, "Well hello girls.. my you do get around!  Enjoy your shopping!"

She was still wearing her mirrored shades and Red Bikki-top & bottoms, but her shoulders and arms were covered with a white knitted shawl, the wrap around blue skirt covered most of her bottoms & bare legs, and her calves-laced short-heeled sandals clicked softly with each step as she continued on her way with the white sun hat bobbing like a gentle sail.  She walked with such confident poise and grace her head never bobbing in her stride.  A shrunken floating platform of mirrored hematite laden with many packages with her shoulder bag on top ~ followed her in silence...

"I do know what Mexican food is as at the superstar part they ordered in for workrs quite a bit and I had a chance to try Mexican food on many occasions.  Part of it agrees with me and part does not as for some reason I do not detest spicy but a lot of sauces and condiments I detest for unknown reasons.  Like my tastebuds because of bland food does not like things but I am always willing to exit comfort zone.  If it helps why I ordered cheese fries and nothing really on my burger.  I am sorry if it seems odd."  Cythi starts with.

"I have never actually been drinking, assuming you mean imbibing of alcohol as it was forbidden for women to ever touch anything like that.  And I am not sure I am old enough as it is twenty-one for that right?"

When the person that freaks her out shows up however she goes stiff and silent letting Virginia go first in communication mainly as she needed to gain courage.

Virginia looks off to the side for a moment. "No, I do not recall any sauces much really. There are some minced veggie dips. If you are in doubt just get a quesadilla, always the safe bet."

"Oh my god this taste terrible!" Virginia suddenly blurts out, dropping her sandwich on the plate! She just saw Sandra. She reacts by giving her no reason to ever come here!

"Oh hiii,.. Psy ...SANDRA!" Virginia gives a smile and waves.  Her expression though is odd. It is not disdain, more simply like confusion when she looks toward the woman.

She keeps waving. "Wash the window.... wash the window..." She hints with a whisper to Cythi. "Come on girl, help me out. Help me wave her on. Practice those pageant waves and wave her on. Wash the window ... wash that window."

Virginia goes to park parade mode, smiling and waving hoping Sandra keeps going.

Cythi actually glad that Virginia seems to be on same page as her although her methods are different.  Still what can be done other than play along as she picks up her hand and waves although tongue still caught and not wanting to speak.  Still if this was to work, "H-h-h-hi Sandra."  She says and even forces a smile.

Well, this thread is certainly turning about to be amusing as all get out!

Sandra looks over her shoulder at Cythi, pausing briefly, "..oh and Hello to you too Cythri, no need to be shy deary I'm not going to bite.  I must say your hair is truly a spectacular, lovely wonder!  I do so envy your accentuating tattoos 'chuckle'.. I can't have tattoos.. my natural regeneration removes them too quickly!"

She smiles at the two the expression twinkling in her emerald eyes, "Well, I'll be along now.  Don't stay out too late girls and please be careful!"

With that she continues on toward the exit... clearly attracting attention as she makes for the main exit of the mall.

Virginia continues waving and smiling in parade mode until Sandra is completely out of sight.

She turns to face Cythi with her totally fake parade smile, then bursts out laughing! "Hahahahahahahaha!"

"Great job Samantha Stevens! You could have totally popped us out of here but nooooo. Fail! Now she totally has a crush on you! Spectacular! Lovely!" she laughs even louder!

"We need to put some kind of tracker on that ... wait is she following us? Is this ... they are not trying to make us part of some comedy series are they?", she looks around for hidden cameras. Convinced none are there, she settles back to her seat and begins nibbling the sandwich again.

"If she is part of the show, I sure hope the producers know what they are doing. That is neither a model or an actress. A lunatic or Russian athlete, maybe."

"I have to give faith that they do know what they are doing.  But mind you I am here and not completely convinced I deserve to be.  But this is a way to stay out although now I can always escape if needed from where I came from."  Cythi interjects.

"From what I was told this was not going to be a comedy but perhaps she just needs some help.  Mental therapy or the likes.  That could be why they brought her on to the show as a means not to have a person with powers out as a danger, rather keep them close and hope for the best.  You know a form of damage control for those on the show."  She offers hoping it makes sense.

"And if you want we can work on a sign to teleport out.  I just did not want to leave before paying as that seemed wrong.  Also not sure she has a crush on me or just likes the hair and tattoos which for some reason did not disappear after I received my powers despite my regeneration."  She offers confused by the Samantha Stevens comment but hoping as she gets to know more of Virginia that she would be able to understand more of the lingo she seems to use.

Cythi's reasoning for Sandra's appearance makes no sense but Virginia has nothing better to offer.

"Let's finish up here. Was there anything else you wanted to do while we were in town?"

"Nothing I can think of that I wanted to do.  Maybe explore the town as my teleport abilities do have a caveat that I need to have seen it to go there.  But I can do that whenever.  For now what is it you would like to do?"  Cythi asks showing visible sign of relief that the crazy is gone.

"We can walk around for a little bit if you want. The things I want to do can wait. It is still early"

They tidy up the bill and leave a generous tip. Out the door Virginia goes, pulling down her shades over her eyes.

"No need if you have stuff you want to do.  Maybe I can help you with your things?"  Cythi offers not wanting this day to be about her stuff especially with all that Virginia did for her.

She follows suit heading out not having sunglasses and making notes that they might be needed.

Sandra got to the exit and without any warning walked to a open space on the sidewalk outside the mall and expanded her hematite disk to her full surfboard mirrored stone platform.  Securing her packages with a stone railing in the back of the board she stepping on it and flew away from the mall to the stunned surprise of the mall shoppers entering and exiting the glass doors...

In no time she was speeding over the cityscape back to the Hubert House.

Returning through the open window of her ground floor room ... she began to cheerfully put away her new attire in the closest and dresser along with the few pieces of underwear she already had deposited from her shoulder bag on the bed.

She rarely wore bras... feeling them an artificial social burden by the patriarchy to force control over a woman's own sexuality.  If she felt a bra was something that would enhance her appearance she wore one, if not or it was not important at that moment she wouldn't! It was simple as that.  Panties were just practical, they prevented chaffing and felt good to wear.. not restrictive.  Her flesh was still supple and not armored or tougher than normal... it was her gravitic field that allowed her to bounce tank rounds off her chest.

Teranovae did not own or maintain a large number of garments in any case... part of the earth goddess perks.. dirt did not stick to her or her clothing.  She took showers daily .. mostly only because she liked the feel of water on her skin.. rather than any need to clean dirt off her body.  Though she did sweat, but it was very little.  She had the constitution of... well of stone actually.

Not the least of the Earth Goddess perks... she was only fertile when she wanted to be.  Which gave her something of a shock when she first awoke with her powers... no periods.  At first she wracked her brain wondering if she was somehow pregnant or worse sterile ~ when she missed three months in a row... but no.  With concentration and will she found she could be fertile or not as she desired.. of course the convenience and cleanliness of no such worries was her default choice!  She guessed the legends that Earth Goddess' were also fertility icons was true.  And Teranovae was not sure how she felt about that, honestly.  She was not more amorous than she could recall from Sandra's memories... but she had not been romantic with anyone since her rebirth.  She tried to dismiss the thoughts... she had work to do to help mankind not worry over who was sharing her bed ~ which was none... thus far.

To be honest intimacy with a nice man... seemed something she would do best to avoid. Not for fear of commitment... but dread of watching him grow old and die... while she remained forever youthful.  Why subject her heart to such pain and loss at his inevitable death?  Plus as a heroine... why risk someone she would love to the danger of the villains discovering them?

It was not all Powers and Glory being an Earth Goddess.. sometimes she struggled to keep her mind on the human condition of those she swore to protect.

Sometimes... its was Very Lonely ~ not being mortal anymore.

Adrianna walked into Hubert House for the first time. She'd had so much going on that she'd been pushed back on her intro for far too long. She'd actually gotten a phone call the night before about removing her from the show if the didn't meet her on camera obligations. So here she was.

Walking into the foyer she calls Hello! Anyone home?

Teranovae heard the front door open and the call from the foyer...  She had just pulled on some jeans and her Black - GODDESS T-shirt but was barefooted.. still she went out to greet who ever had arrived...

She walked out to the Foyer, a tallish young woman at least 6'ft tall maybe.. and barefooted.  Her build was practically amazonian.. not in chiseled muscles per se, but she definitely had a athletic build like a gymnast or dancer perhaps?  She wore a Black T-Shirt with a single word in bold white across her chest - GODDESS, and designer blue jeans which barely contained her physique.  But she herself was a the real treat ~ a stunning beauty with long flowing Green hair, which matched her eyebrows and eye lashes... above equally enchanting Emerald Green eyes.



She smiled, "Hello Welcome to Herbert House! I'm Teranovae, or Sandra if you prefer."

Hello. My name is Adrianna. I'm the last one to arrive I suppose. I've done a one on oneninterview so far but now they want to see how I get along with everyone else. Mind introduce to everyone?

Adrianna steps forward to shake hands with Sandra while smiling broadly. She's 6'2, long dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. She has a friendly face and is wearing black LuLu Lemon yoga pants and a form fitting black Underarmor top. She has a small dark red Chanel clutch in her left hand containing her keys, her phone, and her wallet. She is wearing black ankle high zip up UGG boots.

Sandra chuckles, "..Sorry, I'm just about as new here as you are, the two girls here Cythi and Virginia are currently at the shopping mall, and seem a little shy.  I myself just arrived today.  I think there was a man here as well in the weight room briefly but I have not met him yet and don't know his name."

"But don't let that stop us from finding you a room!  Sorry all the main floor bedrooms are filled I believe."

Well alright then. Lead the way. I ended up with Super Speed, enhanced intellect, and enhanced toughness. A couple of other little quirks too. What did you end up with and has anyone worked up a group training regimen for the group yet? We'll need to learn to work together to be effective. That scrap on the Row was a mess. I can think of 2 dozen ways we could have all done better.

I can work on some ideas I've had for a suit to streamline my abilities while I'm here too. Some of my contacts at Lockheed Martin are interested in what I come up with so they're willing to front supplies and a facility.

Virginia strides with confidence around the shopping areas of town. She stops and goes, looking in the windows. Sometimes Cythi falls behind staring at things. Sometimes Virginia is left behind, but they always meet back up.

In the end she ends up with a few purchases. One bag holds shoes obviously intended to help her in the height department. The other holds an odd assortment of items from a craft store. And one bag holds a selection from the confectionary.

"Alright, I think I am about finished for today. Do you want to pop us back to the house from here?"

Cythi herself for the most part window shops simply because she was used to not having.  Still she almost pops in to get a cellphone but not having enough experience and wondering if the team will get one she decides to leave it.

"Sure can..."  She says holding out her hand and once accepted teleports her and Virginia back to her room.

Once in the room she puts the rest of her bags down planning on putting stuff away later.

"It has been postulated that residue from the Silver Storm in Emerald City got into the ground water and eventually somehow to me? But I can neither confirm or rebut that possibility.  But I think its more than that.. 'shrug', its a mystery.. one I seem to be living with."

"But such is my burden to endure. As to my powers.. some would claim I am just a metahuman.. but I know different.  I control gravity and the very geosphere of the planet. I could ~ if I were careless, knock California off into the Pacific, so I must be very careful how and where I use my powers.  I Am immortal.. I do not die.. slay me and leave me on the earth and I will return a week later.  In one of my... less stellar moments, I tried to kill myself... by throwing myself into an abandoned quarry. I awoke a week later none the worse for wear.  I can expand my scenes to become one with the green.. as I call it, the very Geosphere of the planet sensing alterations to the planets crust and eco-system.  I'm attuned with the Very planet I can regenerate and can expand that ability to heal others and yes.. raise the recently slain restoring life to the deceased.  I'm uncertain if there is a limit on how long a deceased being can be restored to life by my powers.  I can also draw upon the power of the planet to boost my strength to... well simply titanic proportions! 'Punching holes in battleships', as my friend Princess, a member of the Sentinels of Emerald City ~ coined the phrase."

"I can control, shape and create stone, metal, and crystalline structures by will alone controlling gravity as well.. I tend to make minor tremors where I use my powers so I try to be very careful the property damage can be very costly.  I'm protected from harm by an gravitic field.. but I don't seem to be able to expand it to others curiously.  Something I'll have to work on I guess.  I fly by means of a stone surf-board that resembles hemetite... I create, that respond to me will."

She shrugs, "There are other... Earth Goddess perks, but honestly they are not really 'powers'.. just more evidence I'm not human anymore.  I'm still not sure I like all the changes.. but apparently.. I'm going to have to live with that."

And in a instant she glows brightly Emerald green and her costume is replaced with her Jeans and Black 'GODDESS' T-shirt.



"There has been no 'team' training as yet... again as far as I know.. As I just arrived.  BUT I am fairly experienced with team tactics and coordination.. working with the Sentinels has refined my combat skills to a fine precision. I hope to help pass on these skills to this team..if a 'Team' is what ultimately forms."

That is utterly fascinating! What are your thoughts on forests essentially being one large lifeforms connected by root systems? And would you be willing to talk to a clinical psychologist friend of mine?I believe he'd be obsessively interested in studying your psychological state and the changes that have occurred to you.

They walk along the stairs up to the second floor and Adrianna pokes her head into the last door on the right at the end of the hall.

This one looks empty and I can have my things brought over immediately.  Why don't we go grab a coffee and discuss potential training scenarios. We can see if anyone else is home on our way out so we can snag them too and get a detailed list of the powers everyone is working with. My treat. Sound good?

Some counseling would not hurt.. Perfection is NOT one of my Earth Goddess powers! It has been sometimes difficult to keep in mind the 'human' condition of those mortals around me.  I just don't value the material things Sandra use to.. or get hung up on political disputes.  It just all seems so simple to me we ALL live on the same earth, why is there debate about doing what's best for everyone so everyone need not want for food, shelter, and luxuries?!?  Why be greedy when we can share the Earth's bounty???"

"Yeah I know.. 'what planet is SHE from'?", and she laughs.. but her expression is somber.

At the mention of discussing over coffee team building, "Oh yes! That would be excellent!"

Adrianna makes a call to her personal assistant, ordering her things brought over and telling her the room to deliver them to. She also has her set up a call later to her contacts about having a construction and research lab set up nearby.

Alrighty then. Let's see if anyone else is home.

Making their way back downstairs Adrianna yells out Free coffee! She then waits to see who pops their head out.

Virginia strikes rigid to an alert pose.

"Coffee? Was that the crazy lady speaking?" She gives Cythi a questioning look.

"It did not sound like her. I am not sure", she tip toes over to her door and thinks for a long moment.

Despite the danger, she gently turns the knob and cracks the door open. She peers with one eye through the slit and listens again.

Cythi hears the call too, "I am sure that was not her but not sure who it was.  Kind of sounded like the person that ran off with the person I could have healed but then again probably did not know I could heal.   Oh right I can heal as well.  Not sure I mentioned that."  She says.

"If you want to risk it I will follow your lead as remember I am trusting you for everything until such time as I am probably good to make decisions."

I can hear you talking. I'm buying everyone coffee so we can talk and get to know one another. Come on out and we'll head out.

Adrianna says toward to voices.

Sandra, merely stands there a smirk of amusement on her features her arms crossed under her breasts waiting but remarks, "..one of them must be able to teleport or we have a pair of speedsters with us. They were just at the Mall!"

My money is on a teleporter. The odds of there being two speedsters in one house from the same event are beyond astronomical.

Virginia hisses at herself when she is told from below that she has been heard. Surrendering with a sigh she steps out. This whole Supermodel Shakedown endeavor has taken a total left turn. She reminds herself it could be worse though. It could be "The Magic Flute". That was the most amateur riddled production she had ever seen. This is not that bad, Sandra Psycho included.

"We're busted. Let's go." She gives Cythi a nod and heads downstairs.

She summons up some bliss and walks down with a smile.

Virginia appears on the steps. She is blonde, slim, and attractive. As she comes closer you cannot help but notice one thing, that she is petite. Short. Like 5'1". She is proportionate in all regards though with a lithe athletic body.

"Oh hiiii! I did not know anyone was down here. Did someone say coffee?" she can already see she is not going to get much done this morning but reaming the talent agency again can wait.

"Who's buying?"

Standing behind her she waves keeping a smile up as well as best she can but not wanting to speak as the fear/anger hits her eyes again on spotting one of the two there but keeping her cool as best she can and hoping it is not overt.  For that reason she lets Virgina do the talking until words are needed from her.

My name is Adrianna LeShay. We can exchange detailed information while we travel or after we get coffee as I suspect travel will be instantaneous. Would one of you happen to be a teleporter? I'm a speedster by the by.

Adrianna steps toward the newcomers with an outstretched hand aiming at the less shy of the two first.

"Bozhe, spasi menya ot durakov!"  a young lady snarled as she stomped up the stone walkway to the main entrance, dragging a oversized black and red suit-case behind her by a broken tether.

Janava stopped for a moment as she opened the door to see not one or two--but four of the others there.  So much for getting in without being seen.  How the hell did they get back so damned fast?

The taxi pulled away from the curb with a mild screech, the driver had an arm raised out the window, middle-finger prominently displayed for all to see.   Janava went a deep shade of red, a definite departure from her fair complexion.

"Could this day get worse?"  She muttered.  then took a breath and squared her shoulders.  "Tell me soemthing good, please.   The police, they wouldn't let me go.  And I didn't even see anything!"

Adrianna giggles at what looks to have been a horrible day for Janava.

Come put your things in a room and come with us. We were just going out for coffee, my treat, and to get to know each other a bit. I just arrived myself.

Jana looked positively bedraggled.  Obviously not one particularly used to adversity.  But she seemed terribly grateful for adrianna's offer of support.

Considering that she'd been on brought on to be the spoiled-brat bitch of a contestant, she knew she was going to have to work harder than usual to show the others that she wasn't that way...

"Thank-you." she said softly.  "There's a Starbase Coffee a couple blocks away.  Beside the Little Thai Place."

Adrianna says this while turning toward Virginia and Cythi.

Sandra turns to look at the newly arrived young woman and smiles.  When Adrianna greets her clearly familiar Sandra approaches, "Hello and welcome Miss Janava, here I'll help you with your luggage. ALL are welcome here, sister!"

She gestures and a what at first looks like a mirrored silver plate forms under the Red & Black oversized suitcase and lifts it gently 5 inches to float unsupported in the air...

"Please come upstairs and We'll put your luggage in Adrianna's room.  My name is Teranovae.. or Sandra if you like!"

On closer looks the platform is actually a disc of thin animated stone...like hematite polished to a mirrored shine.

Sandra puts her finger to her lips in a thoughtful gesture... "I think my average limit, without extra effort, might be around 12 metric tons?  On a casual exertion of power, no effort at all its about 3,200kg.  The Stone creations I can create.. can be 'tied-off' from gravity to float in the air unsupported, but not subject to my will without more exertion.  This little platform is no effort applied, just simple will and desire, so 3,200kg for this little thing."

"When I want to draw upon the 'Strength of the Land', I personally with my own hands can lift, without extra effort, roughly 12,000 metric tons.. but its hard to measure my physical limits at that point."

"As for how far my senses extend when I become 'At One with the Green'... it depends upon how large the disruption of the planet's natural Geosphere is.  So practical limits 11 miles to the horizon of sight if the disruption is large enough.. potentially even further?"

Outstanding! I wonder if the show producers would mind if we fortified the house and did a little reconstruction? I'll text my PA and have her check. I also have an idea you may be able to help with if you're willing. Ever hear of vantablack or carbon fiber nanotubes?

Sandra smiles, "Yes, I have indeed.. with practice and play.. I've learned I can create stone, metal and crystalline objects that no materials manufacturing can reproduce!  Crystal surfaces of perovskites and silicon that convert solar energy to electrical charge within crystalline storage capacitors, even photovoltic LED made of crystal that can illuminte crystal from within, and Aluminium oxynitride to make walls of metal that are transparent to light!  I made a solar-powered night light in my room downstairs just this morning.  I've even done a bit of experiments with Zero-point energy from stones and crystals... still working on that.  Yes.. so many curious things one can do with the ability to control the material composition on a molecular level.  I'm still figuring out all the things I can create, its fascinating!"

Virginia takes her hand and smiles. It is comfortable and unreserved. Meeting strangers and acting are both skills she has perfected working in theater.

"Hello. A pleasure to meet another person involved with the project! I am Virginia, Virginia Faire. This is Cythi, but she can introduce herself."

She turns to face Cythi and when only she can see her face, she flashes a crooked smile to make her laugh. She fixes her face before she turns back.

"And that will be a Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino for me. With the whip cream on top and some of those tiny chocolate morsels!"

She glides past leaving the floor open for Cythi. She turns and gives the shy girl another goofy look to loosen her up.

"Yes my name is Cythi and I am the teleporter."  She says and being the focal of the question she waits instead of moving as that would make me move past...

She does make a face and was almost tempted to stick out her tongue at her but that would not help the situation.

"Why do you ask?" She says actually curious.

Lovely meeting both of you. And I ask because I was wondering if you could teleport us to the coffee shop. I can get there incredibly quickly but I can only take one other person with. And I'm told it's mildly terrifying for them. Also it'll take me a minute to have a car for us arrive. Simply for expediency you understand. How many people can you telepoet at once?

"If it is just us four I should be able to do that.  I am limited to around eight hundred extra pounds from what I have tested so far.  I am working on learning portals as I can do one for an attack but not for movement yet."  Cythi offers to her.  "You all would have to be close to each other and I only know of one coffee shop so far."

Great! Join hands ladies. Let's take a magical trip. haha

Virginia almost laughs when Adrianna says "magical". She steps up to join in whatever this is going to turn out to be.

Adrianna looks at Virginia with an unreadable look.

What would you call traveling between one location and another via some form of energy that cannot be adequately explained? Or a woman who can make rocks fly with her mind? Or me, who can travel at over MACH 1, can heal at an incredible speed, and who's IQ can not be adequately measured after supernatural augmentation?

Not to mention Sandra's personality, which I believe to be a gestalt consciousness between her former self and a nascent earth spirit. Potentially a not yet fully formed God, lower case g. Thats an important distinction. She's far from crazy, no matter how her story sounds. She's simply more than human now. Which to be fair, so are all the rest of us. Just in different ways.

Virginia turns and likewise gives Adrianna an odd look.

"Did I say something?? No. But what you do not understand is that at my last job EVERYTHING was "magical". Day and night, "magical". All make believe. Now I am here at a new gig. City, modeling, professional, real world  ...."magical"...", she emphasizes magical with hand gestures. "I can't get away from it."

She wonders if Adrianna was trying to read her mind and just did not get it all. She starts thinking a really annoying song in her mind. 'It's small world after all, It's small world after all, It's small world after all, it's a small, small world" repeats.

A small smile graces Adrianna's lips.

I meant no offense. I have no idea what kind of background you hail from but magical seems like quite the appropriate description. A tad inaccurate but still.

Cythi, do be a dear and let's be off. We'll all be more comfortable sipping drinks and lounging about while we talk I'm sure.

Sandra chuckles, "I don't think I believe in magic, meta-human powers of genetics and divinely granted or innate divine power certainly! My understanding of what 'magic' is supposed to be ~ is a skill anyone can learn if they have the dedication and discipline... that may work for martial arts and such... but magic, I'm skeptical.  As if some moldy old book with words in it would allow one to change reality! Pshaww... please! Not everyone can do the things we can do... no mater how much training or dedication they have! Science may be a way to understand the natural laws and with practical application of tools and instrumentality certain natural laws can be harnessed or exploited to great wondrous effects.  But THAT'S not 'magic'."

'Shrug' "I could be wrong, but I'd have to see it to believe it."

Nodding along Adrianna adds I personally think of it as simply supernatural power. It is an element of the universe, or multiverse if you're a believer of string theory, that we simply haven't fully understood or studied yet.

Fidgety a little I'm all for bonding moments but we're ready to go now. Unless you simply enjoy us standing in a circle holding hands. giggle.

If everyone is ready and linked hands, "OK here we go!" at that point is when Cythi teleports them all to the coffee shop she saw on the walk.  Actually it was a few but in order to keep the sacred bacon place of Virginia safe she chooses the one of the other ones.

Looking around to take in her new surroundings Adrianna looks impressed.

No disorientation, nausea, or vertigo. Perfect point to point translocation. Impressive.

Walking up to the counter Adrianna places her order for a dark chocolate coffee latte.

Order up girls. We have a great deal to discuss.

She then pulls Sandra over to order.

Sandra blinks a little... just a tad unsteady on her feet after the transit.

"...ah ..that felt weird?!?  For just the briefest moments.. my connection to the planet was interrupted.  Some kind of space-fold or more of a quantum castling effect?"

Then she is being dragged by Adrianna to the order counter...

"...er uhm. A Dark Roast-blend please with vanilla creamer?"

She seems still a tad bit woozy from the transit...

Cythi had always been on the other side of the counter and never really this side so while she knows all these beverages she also knows she actually dislikes coffee.  Still this place has other drinks and that is what she currently debates when she spots one of her two favourites.

When the others are ready, "Would I be able to get a lemonade please."  She asks making sure it is polite.

Virginia is bit perplexed by Sandra's belief in the divine but not magic. But that would seem like such a Sandra thing anyway. She lets it go.

She did worry about where Cythi might transport them. She was relieved to find they were not at the bacon temple! She smiles. Only a true friend would keep that sacrosanct.

Virginia waits her turn and asks for the Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino with whip cream, chocolate morsels, and a double pump of espresso! The impending flavor bonanza has her visibly dancing in place and shimmmying her head with no concern of what anyone might think. Her concern about Adrianna and Sandy diminishes.

Seeing everyone has ordered Adrianna leads the group over to a table in the corner.

Alright then, let's get started. I wanted us to discuss ourselves and our goals. I'll go first.

I come from a wealthy background, have a masters in engineering, and am a speedster. I'm still exploringthe limits of my speed and I believe I'm getting faster as time goes by. At my top speeds I can generate electricity.
I have an impressive healing factor, but only when I have access to an electrical source and I'm incredibly tough. My mind was also greatly enhanced by the storm. Some of these abilities have other requirementslike that I be in pain when I use them but nothing I can't handle. I'm also extremely tech savvy. I intend to create a suit that helps control, fuel, and streamline my powers.

My ideal goal is to forge us into a team. One that shows young ladies everywhere that we can be strong. We are the heroines we need and need no rescuing. To show that we are the role models all young ladies deserve while putting a stop to crime and some seriously bad people. I hope I can convince the rest of you to join up but regardless of whetheror not you do id still highly recommendwe all train to get a solid grasp and fine control over all our powers.

Sandra has some experience with training and may have some ideas for us there and I'm willing to hire trainers and purchase equipment for us to use.

Having said her piece Adrianna motions to her left at Sandra encouraging her to speak next.

Sandra nods accepting Adrianna's direction.

"I am already dedicated to that same task, and for the past 4 months or so have on and off a gain worked with the Sentinels of Emerald City as a assistance to the superheroes in dealing with criminals and miscreants in my Teranovae true identity.  I have extensive experience in teamwork tactics and fighting battles with meta-human criminals.  I do not keep a different identity.. but Sandra did have a life before she died so I maintain some close contacts with those who once knew her.  Though she had no close friends and her family died years ago when she was still a young girl.  I still share her interests in archaeological discovery."

"MY goal since my rebirth, has always been to use my powers to protect and aid mankind as best I can.  To that I have dedicated my immortal existence.  I deem it a worthy cause... mankind has such untapped potential.  But I would prefer the company of my equals... my unhuman immortal nature tends to frighten those without similar gifts.  I also try to avoid very close contacts... as eventually all around me will age and die while I shall remain eternally youthful.  I do not look forward to that part of being immortal.  So adopting mankind as my duty to protect gives my existence meaning and more importantly Purpose!"

Thank you Sandra.

Just then the drinks arrived. The employee sat the tray down with a smile and Adrianna gave her a tip. She then took a sip of her insanely sweet coffee.

ahh! God I love these. Good thing I work out. She says with a little laugh.

So who's next? Janava, Cythi, Virginia?

Things go silent and everyone looks at Virginia. Her expression is stunned by all the grandiose statements of the other women but the wheels in her big blue eyes are spinning. She leans back from her frappe.

"I really thought we were going to talk about boys or the script or something! But ok then! Let me see, my resume ..."

Her chin and eyes move about as her brain goes through mental filing cabinets.

"I was the top of the pyramid and co-captain of the cheer leading team in high school. I also took drama and tumbling back then too. Then my parents got jobs over in the UK. I ended up going with them. There I attended LAMDA and got my Bachelors in Arts with Honours, meaning specifically Acting.

My first independent "acting" job job was not even acting. It was modelling!" She laughs.

"I modeled bras, underwear, and tights for a clothier called Pretty Polly. I appeared in their advertisements and posters. I mean look at me! I am petite and that is what they wanted. I left the UK to come home and see my friends. There was probably some boy involved but we won't talk about that.

That got me involved with the Barter Theatre. That is in the state of Virginia of course! I performed in Oliver Twist, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, The Crucible, The King and I, and so many others I forget. Then I joined the 'Barter Players'. That was our traveling group that did children's theater.

On the side I was asked to host the Abingdon WinterFest event. That led to me getting spots on the local station WVGI. At first it was just like five or ten minutes on Friday's reviewing the events for the weekend but they liked me and I began doing their children's programming too. Annnnnd as things with boy who will remain nameless was falling apart I left the Barter all together.

I guess I was like a micro celebrity there but I was not making much money with the tv station. Then a Dizney talent agent came to town. So I sent in some tapes. Next thing I know I am in Florida working for the big guys. You can see me in some movies as an extra and hear my voice on some cartoons. But mostly I worked in the park. My favorite part was playing lead Tink in fairy town! And at night,... just before the fireworks,... that was me up on the wire flying around. Mhm, high school gymnastics paid off! I bet no one would believe that! Everyone applauding, it is a great feeling! You try not to think about the concrete.

But then my agent called and said something about a Supermodel Show. 'Be world famous' I auditioned for this and was accepted. I was kind of surprised really. I am not exactly a giraffe ya know. I really don't know where the hell all this is going now either. But I am pretty sure I can get my old job back at Dizney if I have to."

She trails off displaying a hint of worry and sticks her straw in her mouth.

Cythi did not expect this in the least and she does not trust either of the other two ladies at the table even a little yet.  Hopefully Virginia would understand and not reveal anything, "I worked as a coffee barista for the show and I am a teleporter and can also heal myself and others as well as a few other minor things."  Offering what she did she debates on what she will allow to be discussed about her.  Powers are ok but at least.

Sandra nods at the two girls, "There is no need to feel estranged simply because Adrianna and my life choices take us into directions not choosen by you! It is YOUR life... none of us here is judging your decisions with YOUR life goals!"

She gets a thoughtful look as she rests a finger on her cheek, "... If I recall the show has changed its name and direction to ~ Year: One. Perhaps that is a 'slice of meta-human life' angle that looks at the life choices of a selection of meta-human women, just to see how varied their reaction to their newfound powers and how they utilize them in real life? No choice is per se superior, wrong or right!"

You've followed an interesting path then. What about your powers and you goals now that you have them? Is being a meta part of who you are now or just another thing to put on a resume?

And thank you Cythi. we don't know each other well yet but I hope to change that. We're going to have our real identities well known to millions of viewers. We'd better use the time between taping and broadcast to get good at defending ourselves and learning our powers.

"Adrianna has hit upon a truthful.. but a bit far more reaching point as well girls.  You are no longer just human anymore you have metahuman powers.  You may not feel different and want to believe it will not affect how people in the world view you... but it will!  You represent untapped power... and sadly..there are persons, organization and potentially extra-worldly entities that will view you as either threat, or exploitable resource!  I do not know if you have noticed other changes in yourselves or how your bodies now work... but  you will always have to be mindful of your powers and be in control of them... to keep your lives in Your control, protect the ones you care about in your lives and potentially defend your own person from those who would try to manipulate, control or exploit you for their own purposes!"

"No one is demanding you put on weird outfits and seek out criminal miscreants like Adrianna and I have chosen... but you MUST master your powers learn your full power, your limits and your weaknesses ~ least your powers rule Your life."

"You both are fortunate, you already seem to have some measure of good control of your powers.  I cannot explain to you how annoying it was to me to learn my powers sometimes spontaneously react to my emotions! Lots of self-control mediation.. I'll tell you!"

"But worry not we have time to help you learn to use your gifts to control your own lives and not be controlled by them."

Virginia sucks on her straw and listens to Sandra and Adrianna. Large portions of it she simply disregards. It is not disrespect. She simply does not have any particular goals for her powers as Adrianna might expect. She certainly does not see herself as some superhero the way Sandra presents herself. Her paradigm is simply different. She is glad that they made some comments about life choices though. It shows they are not one dimensional.

However she does have a bit of 'iron' in her backbone and sass in her lips. Even to the point of causing her own problems now and then. When Sandra stops speaking the first thing that comes out her mouth is "I don't haaaave to do anything."

She immediately regrets saying it that way. They had not implied she did. But it was already out there. She spins it.

"I mean, I have yet to see anything in the documentation requiring that I do anything... with powers! But I am not going to let myself be exploited as some kind of freak so that some network can get a quarterly boost on their ratings. By the way do any of you have an A List talent agent you can recommend? I think I may be in the market soon."

She pauses for any responses then continues.

"But as for powers" she does a half eye roll casting some disparity to it, "It seems that whatever is in me has gotten inside my mind. And like it does not understand what an actress does. It seems to have interpreted aspects of my pretend personality as my real personality. It does not know the difference between Virginia and Tinker. Does that makes sense? It seems to want to fill in the gap of what it thinks I am supposed to be. It worries me a little. I have played alot of roles."

Suddenly Virginia gasps!!

"Wait. You have told me this three or four times but it just sank in. You are a barista!" She looks at Cythi. She straightens up then half clamors over the table toward Adrianna and Sandra holding out her drink cup.

"She knows to make this shit!" she says with an expressive whisper. "She even has her own uniforms and everything! We don't have to come here for it at all! She can do it at the house!"

She slides back and booty bounces into her seat. Her expression is like a fox! "Oh my gawd you are a true hero now Miss Thang! This is going to be a show!"

She draws the straw shallow and gives a long audible slurp of victory.

Cythi was starting to get annoyed as it felt like the other two were talking very patronizing and she had enough of that in the past. But by the same token she could be wrong as they also seem to genuinely want to advise.  Maybe it was just in her head.  Still this was to see if they could or should get along with each other.

When Virginia changed the topic she felt happy to answer, "Yes I could if we had the right equipment make most of these drinks at the house if you wanted.  I would not mind as it would be something I could do for all of you."  Actually showing pride at that as it is something she could do.

"T-teleporter?" Jana's eyes went wide.  "Blyat!  That's so cool!"

Jana had cooled down a little after her arrival at Hubert House.  She was a bit of a drama-queen, but with the new and different group, she'd chosen not to be quite so... overt in her histrionics than she had on the show.

Teranovae/Sandra seems a little hesitant from her expression about the idea imbibing regularly in alcoholic beverages... but makes no comment on the matter.

But adds her sentiments to Adrianna's, "Indeed girls the choice is yours.. no one will force you to do anything you are uncomfortable with.  We're only concerned for your safety.. and want to give you fair warning of the dangers of being a known meta-human!  The decision of what to do ~ accept or reject our advice and assistance is yours to make."

Cythi smiles and nods to Janava and mouths the words Thank-you.

Then she responds, "I would have to look as never made a list before and it is not likely feasible without knowing what everyone wants.  Unfortunately I was only a barista and never did ordering or anything along those lines so never actually sat down and thought what would it take to open one."  She answers honestly and almost baffled in her head on how much money a person has to do that but keeps not a bit of that showing on her face.

Then answering the one that still freaked her out, "I will accept the knowledge that is presented as you are more experienced in being in public eye and being a meta-human."

"I'm thinking that I am way the hell out of the waters.  No... out of my depth."  Janava said.

"I can climb.  I mean, I can walk straight up a wall as if it were a flat surface on the ground.  And I create these... I don't know, nuggets."

She closed her eyes for a moment and held out her hand, palm down.  it briefly glowed--just a touch--with a golden light.  When she turned her hand palm up and opened it, there was a walnut-sized shard of... something.  It looked, actually, like a a walnut.  Organic, wooden, only it was tapered on one end very much to a point.

"I don't know what I'm supposed to do with it, but if I just ignore it, it disappears."  she placed it on the table in front of everyone.  It didn't disappear.

"So teleporting?"  She said.  "That's just really cool.   Is it scary?  How do you not teleport into the middle of a wall?"

In response to the question, "Honestly never tried to teleport into a place I don't know or don't have line of sight on.  I don't know why I have never teleported into any solid items.  I guess that is why I play it cautiously and make sure but to answer no I have never found it scary.  I actually enjoy it immensely!"  She smiles actually proud of that ability as well.

"Your thing there that looks really cool too.  Have you ever tried throwing it at something and seeing what happens?"  She asks not sure what it is but not wanting to touch it not sure if that will activate anything.

Teranovae speaks up addressing Cythi and Janava, "That's a good idea Cythi, but Perhaps it would be more... prudent to try that in a less public more safe environ?  We are just talking and having coffee here..we would not want to risk hurting or scaring those around us."

"Of course not here.  It is also why I am not touching it in case that activates it too.  Either way it would be silly to do that without being in a safe place to do so."

"Doesn't seem to last more than a minute."  Janava said.

And, in fact, unless anybody's intently staring at it, it will have disappeared in the time you look away from it...    If you did stare at it, it would have shrivelled like a dried up prune in time-lapse photography then fizzled away.

Well after we finish our drinks why don't we see if we can get some training time at the facility the Sentinels use? can you check on that Sandra? In the meantime I'm going to make a phone call. BRB

Adrianna steps to the side and calls her assistant. She tells her to order everything needed to set up a barista in their house including fully stocked ingredients. Rush order for the next day. Then to look into a training facility like the ones the Sentinels use. See if she can contact someone at the Sentinel facility and look into getting some scheduled training time there. See which option is more feasible long term. Then she calls her bank to tell them about a couple of imminent large expenditures and to okay them.

Walking back over to the group she asks So who's the guy who was using the gym this morning? Is that going to be a problem with a house full of hotties like us? (little chuckle with a big conspiratorial grin.

Virginia likely did stare at the walnut until it disappeared.

"There is a guy in the house? I mean I could tell some others where there but I did not see them. They were all up in their rooms. What does he look like? Is he good looking??" Virginia asks.

Teranovae shrugs, "I heard him this morning when I was doing some web-research in the Communications room in the Sub-basement... but he never answered me.. nor did he make an appearance.  I did not see him when I looked in as I went by the Gym-Room in the basement to return to my room. So.. I cannot say who he is."

"I'm not interested in chasing men, currently, and my standards are pretty high... so just be discrete whatever you... young women decide to do. You have no idea who he is or is like after all!"

Cythi herself at this point smiles, "If he is attractive you could land him in a heartbeat Virginia and would have no threat from me at all.  After what I went through I don't know what I would want but the thought of a male person just makes me shudder."  She says actually shuddering.  It is not that she even thinks of anything beyond friendship at this point and probably needs therapy.

Good idea. They've given us a rough idea, that being a lifestyle show about metas but specifics would be nice.

Sandra go ahead and try to contact the Sentinels and set up a consult on training. I'll try and get ahold of a producer or director and set up a face to face for the show. Virginia, here'sthe number for my agent. He's a good guy. Has a daughter around our age so he'sreal fatherly and not at all the perv that some agents are.

In the meantime why don't we head back home and get ourselves set up. Sound good to everyone?

Virginia stays silent listening to the disparate reactions she got when bringing up men. Wow, that was not what she expected! These people need to loosen up or she is going to have to look for more hip friends!!

And what is this about training she thinks. I already got my ass up at the butt crack of dawn and done my training!

"Oh, an agent contact!" She seems excited when Adrianna hands her this. "Thanks alot! Unless I hear something amazing about this project today I am probably going to drop kick mine into last week! I should probably go ahead and get my portfolio updated."

Cythi sees the card and debates to ask Virginia about some stuff later mainly as she was giving Virginia her implicit trust in all things to this show and heroing. "I am ready if all of you are."  She says her lemonade in a plastic cup so she can take it with her and still enjoy.

"Ready"

Let's roll then.

"Are we taking the express way back?"  She was not sure but wanted to check before assuming a teleport was being done.

If you're willing. I don't want to presume.

"I do not mind at all."  Cythi says as she stands up and away from the table holding her hands out for all who want express method back.

Teranovae, joins in ready to leave this time expecting the brief disconnect from the earth she will feel.

Joins hands a smiles gratefully.

Teranovae offers, "I will put in a call to the Sentinels to see if they will be willing to allow us to use their facilities... but it may take a little time for them to get back to me.  But that does not mean we cannot come up with something in the gym back at the mansion.  I practiced with the Sentinels on occasion and I know how to turn practice into a fun-like game, yet still practice useful combat self-defense exercise."

"Don't worry, no damage will be done to the gym.. or anyone participating.  Basically, its a game of super-powered tag."

Not a fair contest, and I'm very competitive.

Teranovae smiles wickedly, "Not a problem.. I have area of effect barrages and cones of gravitic force... speed is not always the answer!"

She chuckles, "...but this is not really about YOU or me.. we are clearly familiar with use of powers to defend ourselves.. its the girls who will get a chance to refine their power usage and physical exercise!"

Virginia mentally sighs.

Combat? Super tag? With Terror-nerva? Speedster? The Bewitched Barista? Girl with Nuts? This does not sound good. Maybe I can be the score keeper, she thinks.

Teranovae looks over at Virginia catching her unsteady expression and smiles, "..Don't fret Virginia.. it will be little more then tag with water guns or in my case blasts of sand.  I'll be gentle and not put any force behind my attempts to tag you.  This teaches control and precision... exercising using your powers in minute ways and avoiding harm!"

Cythi teleports them back home, "OK here we are."  She says as she sips her lemonade.

Thats awesome. You can only teleport to places you've been to or can directly see correct? How about looking at it live through a Webcam? Because that opens up some amazing tactical options. Not to mention vacation possibilities. You could make a killing just porting people around. No airports, long travel times, or strangers. Just point to point translocation.

Virginia tries to not laugh out loud at how cool it is to just suddenly be back at the house!
She clutches the card Adrianna gave her.

"She is right about that honey. You could make a killing being a tele-transportation hostess!"

She weaves between the Amazons heading to the stairs.

"I will be in my room working. If any of you have the number of the producer let me know. Thank you for the frappe!"

She bounces up the steps.

Adrianna waves.

Will do. Maybe dome of the film crew here at the house can get us in contact with who we need. Of not I'll figure it out.

She then heads to her own room and starts making phone calls after asking her PA to come to the house.

Sandra watched as Virginia makes her escape from actually participating in something that might someday help protect her... but makes no comment shrugging, and hopes Virginia can continue to so easily escape the fact the world is not a nice place and not have to defend herself someday.

She turns, and leads the way to the stairs, "...The Gym's this way."

She does not look back to see who follows, 'everyone must make their own choice, and face the consequences of those choices', Teranovae can only try to help, but ultimately it's their decision.

At least maybe Teranovae can get in some minor exercise... the weight machines are wholly inadequate for her true might.

She pulls her phone and texts a message to Princess of the Sentinel's requesting the use of their training facilities for some young meta-human teens.  But does not expect any immediate answer.

Adrianna comes back downstairs having finished her calls and follows Sandra into the gym and takes off her boots, setting them against the wall just outside the door. She begins stretching to loosen up for what she hopes to be a good workout.

So whats the plan your greenness?

Virginia goes to her room congratulating herself on slipping "Team Titan"

She sets about making adjustments to her portfolio. It does not take alot. She had just updated it for whatever this project was supposed to be.

Next she calls her talent agent. She does not get him on the phone but she leaves a scathing message about how unacceptable the whole situation is. She has seen no paper work on "Year One". Exclusivity, union, merchandising, pay-or-play, so many contract details. Not to even mention the whole meta dynamic. She leaves him a 5:00 pm ultimatum to explain why she should continue using his services.

She investigates Adrianna's lead and makes notes. Looks like a possibility.

Then she calls some of her friends working at Dizney. She makes some pointless chit chat and totally lies about her current situation, making it out to be "perfect"! But she oh so does miss being in Florida and is thinking about coming back.

Then she takes a running leap and flops onto the bed for a nap.

Will Virginia leave the show?! Will she play tag?! Narrative drama awaits!

"I had never thought of that.  I only thought I could help people with it.  That said I can do a picture but I don't know what happens if things change in the room and don't want to risk it if that makes sense."  She says before the people seem to disperse.

Honestly at this point she is not sure what to do.  So while everyone separated some going to gym, some to their respective rooms she herself decides that room is likely the safest option and actually walks there instead of teleporting up so she does not abuse the power she has.

In her room she actually takes a bit of time or effort to put everything away that was acquired and makes sure it is neatly folded and perfectly edged.  Once doen she takes stock of everything before putting on her jogging pants and hoodie and goes and knocks on Virginia's door.

Cythi hears some mumbling from inside.

When she opens the door she sees Virginia laying face first in the bed.

"mumble mumble mumble"

"Is everything ok as I know I am not the best person to pick up on this but you seem like you are annoyed at this show.  I hope it is not something I did anyway?"  She asks figuring out a bit from other bits and pieces she has said and also adding some of her own observations.

"Actually skip the fact I asked that.  Is there anything in my power to make your day better?"  She offers not sure if it will help or not but being the person she is has to try.

In reply to Adrianna (msg # 185):

Sandra shrugs, "My plan if you can call it that was to try to help the girls become familiar with the limits of their powers.. perhaps tech them just a little self-defense.  But it appears they both want none of that so it will be their problem when it becomes a problem for them.  I do not think Virginia will stay and maybe that's not a bad thing... her personal career and self-interest are more important to her so.  Cythri is a follower she will follow what's easiest to do perhaps.. not necessarily either choice is bad or invalid.  I just hope they have the wisdom if not to learn how to use their powers to protect themselves at least to keep them secret... lest far less scrupulous beings try to take advantage of them."

"Do you know who is supposed to be in charge of this Year-One project I do have better things to do than herding self-absorbed teenagers?"

She mumbles in the covers for a moment then rolls over limply.

"Nah, you have already made the day better. I was just expecting some program people to show up today. Tell us more about this show. Instead we got super heroes. I am no super hero. Are you? Wait, I think you are. I belong someplace making children smile. Not embarrassing myself."

She flops around like she is about to get up but then she loses the will.

Cythi stops to think for a second on that, "I honestly do not think I am a superhero...not yet at any rate.  Maybe one day, maybe not.  What I do know if while your powers make others smile, mine is teleporting.  It can do good for others and that might be what they want.  Honestly I have no clue."  She says trying to think if what she is saying makes sense.

"I do know that I probably can't live in my fear of what is downstairs if we are going to fit in.  I think that is why I stopped by as I am trying to convince myself to go down.  Actually I think I will regardless and explain why the green goddess I will work with if she stops referring to herself as a goddess."  At which point Cythi stands up to go but waits to see if Virginia wants to come with even if it is to see her confront her fear but will understand if she does not completely as this is something she should do alone.

Virginia lays there unresponsive for a moment. Then one arm shoots up, finger pointing to the ceiling as if to say 'wait'. Her legs pedal the air and she sits up.

"Ok, I am with you. You want to good for others. You reminded me of something. Integrity, honesty, trust, respect, playing by the rules, and teamwork!" She recalls something form the park. "I can't let you go alone."

She hops up and does a little hand work to her hair. "Ok, let's go!" she says with a little more enthusiasm.

"Plus, I want to be around if any producers show up!"

Smiling at that Cythi walks down to the gym never having been there before and walks in to see what is going on.

Upon entering she says, "Hello to both of you and apologies for the delay but I did not want to get my new clothes soiled."

Adrianna grins huge.

Yay! Cythi I think you'll be the perfect rear guard. Between teleportation and healing I can see you staying at the rear to ensure not only our escape but healing in case one of us goes down.

Virginia, where do you see yourself? We didn't really talk about your skillset.

Teranovae has tied her hair into a pony-tail and is simply running on the exercise treadmill.  She notes the girls arrival but makes no comment continuing her programmed run sequence on the exercise treadmill.

Janava showed up, her expression concerned and a little skittish.  But she was wearing something that looked vaguely like padded or armored exercise gear.   Like something out of a wrestling magazine or a hentai artists wet-dream for super-heroines begging to be... well, it was serviceable but not really functional.

Rear guard? Escape? Healing? This already sounds dangerous! (and like nothing she has ever experienced) She hears Adrianna's questions and really has no clue what to say.

"I could try to talk to them first, make introductions? Or uhm call 911?" Oh she is asking about powers again. Oh lord how do I not make me sound lame?

"I could probably be a little sneaky. I am small after all." Suddenly she goes pbpbpbpbpbpbpbpbpb with her lips.

"I am faster than I look! Oh oh, I can give YOU the power to fly! But you must think happy thoughts!" She puts one hand on her hip and with the other wags a finger suddenly going into character.

"Why there is nothing you cannot achieve, if only you believe! Think of all you can conceive and come along with me, it is time to leave for Never Never LAND!" She makes a twirl and poses into a point as if she is about to take flight!! She doesn't take flight.

After a second she catches herself and goes back to being the over facially expressive and possibly snarky girl she has been earlier.

"Well, uhm yeah, I can do some pixie dust stuff and fly. Maybe make people fly and stuff." She straightens up and shrugs not seeing how that can really help.

Sandra notes the girls have shown some interest so she selects pause on her running treadmill exercise to spin down and steps off the treadmill.

She chuckles, "Rear guard, Healing, Escape routes? Hahaha... no, no... that's FAR too advanced to worry over now! I'm only meaning basics here!  Those kinds of advanced tactical training can come later when your ready!"

"What I had in mind is just supposed to be fun and work on some Very Basic self-defense stuff.  No one here should be ashamed of whatever gifts they have... its not what gifts you have that matters its how you apply them!"

"First I need to get you to understand you can trust your powers and you can trust us to use our powers in ways that will not hurt each other... that builds your confidence in yourself and your close companions.  Which is why I suggested a simple game of super-powered tag. You must learn to trust yourselves with the use of your powers."

"So to that end... let's get started!"

With that Teranovae, gestures at the room and the concrete floor slightly ripples and slowly the weight machines are slid out of the way moved by the ripples of the concrete floor as Teranovae comments, "...This is a subtle application of my Control Geosphere power to manipulate and move stone, earth and metal.. things of the earth.  I could technically move the metal of the machines... but my power is more primal than that and they might end up malformed afterward and not functional as machine anymore... this is a less impactful way to do it to have the stone floor slide the machines out of the way.  It is also a ranged alternate application of my own Earth Gliding power which allows me to move rapidly across the ground."

When all the weight gear is moved aside she continues, "So I'm going to try to tag you all with little blasts of sand... about a little more impact than a squirt of water from a watergun ~ but sand."

She demonstrated gesturing with her hand at one of the weight lifting machines, her hand glows green briefly and a Crystal/Earthen Shards {pulled to Rank 1} stream of sand strikes the weight machine scattering light sand on the floor around it.  Barely enough force to rattle the machine.

"While I try to tag you.. you use whatever means you can to avoid being hit.. using powers, dodging, teleporting out of the way... or even taking cover behind something! Don't worry about the residue sand.. I'll clean up after were done."

"Simple, and after I tag each of you three times we start over and you must all tag me while I try to avoid being hit."

"The point of this is that before you can help someone else you must learn how to save yourself ... and avoiding being hit regardless of the force applied is key to that.  This is little more than paint-ball tag but it gets you practice avoiding attacks directed at you ~ hopefully gaining confidence in your powers used to defend and protect yourselves at the same time!"

With that... Sandra pirouettes gracefully and a bright emerald light emits from her and engulfs her dissolving her clothing leaving her very briefly nude as her Teranovae costume forms around her.



She gestures again and a mirrored ball forms below her hand and lengthens and reshapes into a 7 to 8 foot long slender oval of stone... with a dark mirrored surface like a surf-board made of hematite stone hovering unsupported about 6 inches above the ground. Which she steps onto it and it rises some three feet in the air.

"Shall we begin?"

OOC: This is not about attack rolls or actual combat so we can just story flow this... its girls playing in the sand!  Sandra will fly about the room firing blasts of sand at everyone.  We need not do more than RP it. Unless you ALL want to do more than that?

Sandra is VERY good at this with her powers she's +9 to hit normally but can boost that to +14 to hit if she All-out attacks. But she is not doing that ~ she will start as only +2 to hit and slowly raise it to get the girls to up their game and give the 'students' a feeling of accomplishment.  To her its not about 'winning' she's trying to make learning fun.

Same goes for her defenses.. she will start out at Defense of 13(23) maxing her defenses and then slowly lower it to allow the 'students' to tag her.

Virginia listens to the idea of tag. Then she watches Terranovae "super power" the exercise equipment all ten feet over to the wall! Leaving them enough room for a card table and chairs!

She keeps a straight face. She listens to the new discussion and follows everyone to the parking garage. She falls to the back. She fans herself and breathes deeply but no one sees her crack a smile thinking about tag in that small room!

Cythi decided at this point not to bring up how condescending or how much she sounded like the cult leaders this person was in front of her.  She just simply breathed in and out even though the exchange of oxygen was not needed.

"Tag it is!"  She says forcing a smile.

Alriggt ladies, let's do this. Get us started your greenness.

Teranovae was wholly disappointed in the available space in the 'gym' it seem more of a weight room than any real exercise room... but the underground car garage would serve and provide some actual cover the girls could duck behind.

She was not sure she was reaching them but it was a start... she had made her case and left it to them to decide, honestly she was surprised when they showed up at all.  Adrianna was clearly interested, even perhaps Janava... but Cythi and Virginia.. she was not sure they were convinced or 'really' interested in hearing anything from her... their choice of course.. but she'd rather they just be honest about it and not put on fake pretenses.  Though they did come down... Sandra was not sure she was just reading more then was there in their hostile demeanor and body language.

She really was not understanding the source of their hostility... she had been nothing but kind, open and non-judgemental.

"Very well, so here we go..."

Teranovae took flight and flew on her hematite surf-board circling the underground garage a couple times getting a feel for what speed she should keep herself under for turning and control purposes... on her third pass she raised her hands and unleashed a casually aimed barrage of sand at the group spraying their area with her Crystal/Earthen Shards multi-attack but as sand-blasts! Normally, this would be a deadly spray of razor sharp crystal shards or bludgeoning barrage of shrapnel-like rocks ~ shotgun-blast like but Teranovae's control was superb and she only unleashed a spray of green colored sand almost chalk-like at their area.

She was going easy on the girls at first pretty sure some of them had never been in combat before... so it was not her best aim mostly just to make them scatter...

Adrianna sped off, weaving between the pillars like a slolem. She waited until Sandra was firing one direction then approached her from the rear attempting to smack her right on the behind to tag her.

Cythi herself will play along teleporting at random into a variety of areas to the point every time Sandra is in front of her she teleports to a random point playing on full defense.

Virginia exclaims something and takes off running at super normal human speed. Actually maybe a little slower than a normal human considering the length of her legs.

But she is clever! Or so she thinks. She runs up behind Adrianna and uses her to interpose!!

"Haha!" she thinks. Then .... Adrianna virtually evaporates from before her eyes taking off at super speed.

"Poooosh", Virginia is hit by sand.

She freezes. After a second she begins knocking the sand off and wipes it from her face. Her mouth twists and she gives TN the narrow eyes. It is hard to tell what the look means. It is either touche' or the evil eye. It disappears behind her sunglasses as she flips them down.

Next she takes off looking for Cythi to see if she can out run her. (for now Virginia is a fish in a barrel trying to avoid using any "powers")

Teranovae maintains a height of around 12 to 15 feet flying around on her dark-mirrory hemetite surfboard and a distance of about as much from any of the pillars... to keep out of melee range specifically to keep from being 'tagged' herself and she smirks at Adrianna just catching from the corner of her eye, admittedly barely, her tactic.  She was uncertain if Adrianna was fast enough to run up walls hence her keeping her distance from the pillars all out of melee reach.

To discourage her trying it again Teranovae smiles and unleashes a much better aimed {knowing Adrianna's experience} shimmering Gravity Wave, a cone of translucent, emerald-hued gravitic force at Adrianna filling a 15'ft area at its base!

07:20, Today: Sandra rolled 20 using 1d20+6.  Gravity [Rank 1] - Cone {+6 vs dodge}, DC16 '1/2 D'. – 20

Shaking a chiding finger at Adrianna but grinning, "No-No. I'm tagging for now, you'll get your chance to tag me later...!", all playfulness in her tone.

She chuckles lightly at Virginia and comments, "Hahaha, Creative Tactic Virginia, quick-thinking... but next time try using one of the stationary pillars.. less chance of your cover moving away!"

There was a very slight tremor that rumbled about the room but nothing more than if a Heavy loaded dumptruck had rolled through the garage...

"Nice Hussle, Cythi... your next!", her tone is playful.. no menace in her complement.

Teranovae continues to circle about the Garage in flight.. though because of her height and keeping away from the pillars it does make her pattern of flight somewhat predictable...

Adrianna sees the wave and ducks behind a pillar. As soon as it passes she goes after Sandra again.

Virginia runs over behind Cythi. Cythi is not as tall as Adrianna but still larger than Virginia. She jogs along behind her giggling to herself. Until Tera fires again. Cythi poofs and Virginia is tagged again. Easy as can be. goes with her to a new location.

"Woot!" she cries out from another place in the garage.

Cythi was almost tagged that time as she backs up so she is touching Virginia and teleporting both of them away.

Janava circled around the parkade, uncertain.   This was already getting too real, too... visceral for her.   She was no hero.  What the hell was she doing?

The first wad of sand that went by her went wide, and Janava was convinced that Terror-nova was probably a sadist who just enjoyed toying with people.  She hid behind one of the cement pillars then deciding that most people thought in two-dimensions, she began to sprint--up the pillar--until she was the ceiling.

The older woman was flying, though.  Really flying.  And that meant that she had to be a lot more aware of her environment.  A possible advantage?

When the emerald cone of... whatever the hell it was burst out at them, Janava was caught in it's grasp and felt incredibly heavy.    Janava threw herself back, behind one of the other pillars, having to clasp the pillar itself, as she'd fallen from the ceiling.

Janava swore to herself.   The playing field had changed. Virginia and Cythi weren't where tehy were.   moments ago.

Right... Cythi said she teleports.

Bloody hell.

They were going to make her sweat.

She knows her momentum will only last for a few moments like this so she strafes straight across to another pillar while on the ceiling, traveling directly over Sandra. As she passes over her she reaches "up" from her perspective and taps Sandra on top of the head.

HAHA!

Sandra crouches close to her surf-board 'ducking' Adrianna running on the ceiling, chuckling... "Gonna have to try harder than that... Adrianna!"

Teranovae does not bother engaging Adrianna, but swoops around switching her tactics keep herself close to her surf-board giving herself a lower profile keeping away from both floor and ceiling now out of reach, clearly being more defensive now...

She angles in zooming toward Virginia and Cythri a smile on her face and raises her glowing green hands gesturing at them again...

Is this a "rolled" exercise or a "narrative" one?  I think we are split on the execution.

Cythi smiles figuring out fully what she could do and also that this game could go on forever decides to teleport behind Sandra and reaches out touching her on shoulder saying, "Tag."


At which point she stops,  "I think maybe we should switch the game as my ability probably stops this from being fair and teleporting is the one thing I do not need practice with.  If we have a place where we can unleash perhaps instead we could actually show what we could do and from there training might be a little more focused to needs?"  She actually suggests and fighting her current fear

Ternaovae smiles gesturing to pivot her surf-board around so that Virginia has something to stand on and NOT fall to the floor as she is still some 15'ft in the air.

She chuckles, "Haha, Fair enough.  I did not want to push you or Cythri to be 'super-heroes'.. you have your own lives to direct, your own goals.  This was just to test and exercise your abilities to defend yourself by avoiding attacks."

She grins, "... I think we can agree.. you got that already!  What would you suggest?  This was only to be a fun exercise.. directed play if you will ~ nothing really serious."

Virginia comes down stairs wearing her "done for the day" attire. Pajama pants, a pink t shirt with an astronaut riding a unicorn on it, and no bra, letting all that wishes to jiggle. In her hand is a bag of doughnuts. The small kind with white powdered sugar that gets all over you. She has a light dusting on the the front of her shirt. Anyone seeing this would immediately know she must have a stash of snacks in her room as the doughnuts have not been seen among the common items everyone stocked in the kitchen cabinets. Sure, we all know what is ours and what is not but some things Virginia won't trust others with! Like this little sweet doughnuts!

"Has anyone seen Cythi? I did not see her in her room." A slight whisp of powder swirls like fairy dust into the air from her lips. "A Mocha Latte would go so good with these!"

She peeks in the bag at the count and actually considers sharing if anyone asks!

Cythi herself had been doing teleporting rounds getting a bead on the city and gathering all information she could.  She planned on doing this every night until she got the city planned in her head.

Still at this point she walks in from outside, "Evening." She says smiling as she almost always was save when the situation caused otherwise.  This however was not one of these situations.

"Cyyyffi!" Virginia dry mouths her name and coughs a puff of powered sugar. "Uur myf 'ero!"

After a series of Carol Burnett expressions while getting her mouth cleared of doughnut she speaks much clearer.

"Where have you been? I have been worried sick!" she says with teasing sarcasm. "And in need of your talents!" She makes a drink cup motion and grins.

It is then out of nowhere you see a bit of energy come up through her hand and she has a bit of confusion as steam starts appearing out a cup that seems to have appeared in her hand out of nowhere.  The look on Cythi's face is a bit confusing too.

"....Um.....here you go?"  She says as she passes the cup back.

"What? How did you do that? I did not even blink! Did you just tele-deliver hot steaming coffee to hand?! I am blown away. MY GOD YOU WILL BE A BILLIONAIRE! Fresh beans from like, Central America! Like, dew still on them fresh!" Virginia blows on the hot frothy coffee to cool it down.

She turns and heads to the kitchen. There she finds a nice dish and sets out her stash of doughnuts in a pyramid stack. Then she hops up on a seat and muzzles up to the coffee. "Awesome coffee Cythi!! Coffee!! Doughnuts!!" She calls out to everyone in the house and grins at the barista extraordinaire.

Cythi still looks confused.  "I, I, I, really do not know how I did that.  I was just thinking about going to get a coffee and how easy it would be if I had the equipment here as was discussed that I would not have to teleport out.  Then I felt energy and it appeared in my hand."  She says still looking at her hand with a look of bewilderment before looking at Virginia.

"It actually felt like how when I create my staff..."  She pauses, "....that I realise now that I have not discussed about."  She says still looking at her hand before she stares again and focuses and another cup appears with more steaming liquid in it.

Virginia's eyes slide left and right as she misinterprets, "You can create a staff?! Of baristas?? I wonder what Darwin would say about that! Oh look, you did it again! Is this some sort of "magic" trick??" She takes a quick peek under the table.

Cythi brings the cup up to her nose and sniffs, "It is hot chocolate, with dark chocolate syrup in it, whip cream, and dark chocolate shavings on top.  It is my go to stress drink."  She says picking it up and sipping it and obviously melting a bit from what ever the brew in there tastes like.

She then continues, "Yes I can create an energy staff.  It allows me to attack close up instead of at a distance."  She says sipping the drink more and eyeing the doughnuts debating if she wants one or not and then to show created the energy staff in her one free hand.  It is 2 meters in length and glows with a violet colour.

Sandra walks from her room, her long mane of hair disheveled in cloud of emerald about her head and shoulders... she is wearing only a pink and white striped panty bottom, and her NGE - Asuka Anime' T-shirt, as usual ~ braless.  The T-shirt hugs her every curve kinda immodestly and keeps no secrets as to the shapely woman underneath. She seems newly awaken from perhaps a nap.  Her slender dancer's legs and feet are bare...

{Yawn} "Someone mention coffee? Yes, please!"

She heads to the kitchen to grab a tub of vanilla ice cream and spoon, and returns with ice cream and a black mug in hand labeled 'MUG' in white letters on the side.

Holding out her mug for coffee, "Please and thank you.  I'm going down to the TV room downstairs... National Geographic has a special on tonight about Egypt... missed the last time it was on."

She regards Cythi's staff with unsurprised expression, "Nice staff."

Virginia's eyes go wide seeing Teraanovae with not a bowl of ice cream, but the entire carton instead!

"That is alot of ice cream there honey. You are not depressed about something are you? Are you going through "de NILE"?" She laughs like a child.

"Hey if you are a god you could be "SET" for life! Don't fall for any pyramid schemes down there!" She snickers more at her own corny jokes picked up from children at the park.

Turning back to Cythi she quips, "That is an impressive staff..." She works her grin and makes it sound oh so sexual. "Dear lord the sugar is hitting me, I am getting stupid!"

Sandra yawns again and smiles, "The Heliopolians of the Great Enaad only WISH they had it as good as I do, a modern goddess ~ ice cream, hot coffee, heated cushioned comfy chairs, and 200+ TV channels of entertainment!"

"But I'm fine, this is just one of several small personal tubs of ice cream in the fridge, I only wanted one. The sugar and black coffee will wake me up... for the show.  I know the cute researcher hosting this episode.  Haven't seen him in several months.  Its his first TV hosting an episode of National Geographic.  Told me in e-mail he wanted ME to see his first time on TV!  Nice guy.. real smart, a little geeky and that's even cuter.  We have something of a professional comradry among Archaeologists!"

Marie would wonder into the room, eyes half opened. Her blonde hair was a complete mess, as she strayed in wearing a pair a fleece pajamas with kittens on them. "You people make a lot of noise in the morning." Came her emotionless voice as she slowly looked at each.

Cythi freezes up as soon as the word was mentioned again and then without even thinking about it teleports to her room so she prevents....well she is honestly not sure if she would break down and cry or lose it.  Either way it was safer here!

Sandra chuckles, "{tee-hee}, I'm afraid your mistaken dear Marie.. its only near 10PM, you have plenty of time for your beauty rest!"

Then notes Cythi vanished again, "Hmmm..skittish girl.. so no coffee.  Ice Cream it is then!"

She smiles and heads for the stairs down to the TV room with a regal and graceful gate of a professional model, "..Night girls, Don't stay up too late!"

"...the hell." She stated flatly. "Why'd she go? Was it something I said?"

"10PM? Why did you let me nap this long?" She began to grumble, which caused a low rumble in the kitchen before she closed her eyes, and took a deep breath and sighed. "Right..."

Virginia, who was dragging a little doughnut along her tongue like a wheel, freezes when the kitchen shimmies. Her eyes flare and she looks at Marie. "Twat tat yuu?", she says to Marie with powder hindering her tongue.

After a sip of coffee she speaks more clearly. "Wow, this house is not going to last long. Between you and Terranovae...
I don't know where Cythi went. She said something about mapping town earlier. (I did not catch any reason for me to believe she left mad) I am sure she is fine.
Why don't you like naps? You did not miss anything. No one ordered pizza or anything."

She looked towards the ground. "...yes." She said with a small nod. "I got upset because everyone let me nap to long, but I got them under control. I promise."

"...my abilities are directly tied to my emotions." She said, emotionlessly. "So I have to suppress one to keep the other in control." She explained.

Then when asked about naps she simply shrugged. "It's not that I don't like naps, I just don't wanna waste the day away taking them."

"Your emotions? Like you will turn green and smash emotions? Or take off a heel and throw it emotions? Both are scary but the disaster scales are completely different."

With no Cythi to help, that Egyptian TV show suddenly sounds veeeeerry interesting....
Virginia nudges the plate of doughnuts towards Marie as if offering them in exchange for her life! Though she does not really feel as if she is in danger. She is simply trying to be funny.
She gives Marie the puppy dog eyes going back and forth between her and the doughnuts.

"...the Hulk kind, only scarier. The Hulk you can run away from, me, I see you you're still able to be hit until I can regain control, or am knocked out..." She seems to grow, somewhat saddened by it all as she talks about it. It almost sounds like she not only loathes her abilities, but fears them, or what could happen if she loses control of them.

"Thanks." She slowly reached out for a donut, picking it up, and sighing. Then she took a bite. "...the tremor was because some of my things I can do are telekinetic based. Like the blades I can form, the field I can make around my body, and the telekinesis itself..." It sounded as if she could do more, from the way she talked.

[OOC: Just an FYI, Marie is not wearing her sunglasses right now, so everyone can at the moment see her slightly glowing eyes.]

"I ain't gonna be trying to knock you out. That will only make you more mad! Knock out a couple of these doughnuts instead. Doughnuts are our friennnd..." For a moment Virginia grins and play pretends as a mesmerist.

"And you got bonus nap! That is great! I am jealous. Nothing going on to worry about around here. I think a couple crew went in and out of the house but nothing else."

Virginia ignores the glowing eyes. She notices and simply accepts it. They would not be glowing if they were not supposed to be and obviously Marie would know her own eyes are glowing. That would be like telling a red head they have red hair.

"Blades? Fields? Telekinetics? Intersting. I am not sure what I would do with that. Give myself a back massage? Mix cakes without dirtying up a spoon?"

Cythi finally getting a hold of her emotions decides at that point it should be time to talk to someone but hopefully for now the trigger had calmed down.  It is at that point she heads down the stairs into the common area.

"I am sorry about that!"  She says apologising for now and hoping no one asks her right now what had happened.

"...I don't mean now. I have control right now." She said, in her usual flat emotionless tone. "But if they do take over..." She left the statement open as she finished the first donut and took another.

"Why be jealous? Just...lay down and take a nap." She said as if it was that simple, because to her it was.

"Yes. I can form blades from my hands, and not blades like that. They only affect the mind." She said with a small nod. "Their made of energy anyway, psychic energy I guess... So no mixing cakes with them, or given a back massage...  I call them, mind daggers..."

"Oh I will honey. After the sugar rush," she waves a doughnut, "comes the sugar crash! I will be out for the night!"

"Blades from your hands?! Hmm, like The Velveteen Wolf of the Y-Men? But you say they are not like that. So if you poke me in the leg, will it do anything? That is not my mind? So does that mean you have to poke me in the brain? Sorry, I don't mean to sound stupid, these things have never come up for me before."
She pokes fingers in the air trying to imagine what it might be like to have "mind daggers".

"Are they destructive or are they for helpful purposes? Like a psychic brain surgeon! Can you paint pictures into my imagination? Hmm, no I guess you would call that mind brushes."

Having missed her friend's uneasiness around someone, Virginia is a slight bit unsure what Cythi is apologizing for. And yes, she decides not to delve into feelings, it is too late in the day for that.
"Come on over and join us. We are discussing ... things. But it is hard to grasp. Well for me that is. Mutant powers, men, none of it makes sense." She continues thinking about what Cythi is explaining.

Cythi moves over to her best friend, "I am afraid I can not give much in input on those items."  She says really having no data other than what her powers were and what Virginia could do.  It was not her place to say what Virginia can do and she is pretty open on her powers including the new one she discovered that very day even though she does not fully understand it.

"Nothing like that. They are pure mental energy." She said in her plan flat emotionless tone. "Yes, if I poke you, anywhere, it'd be like I poked your brain with a knife. So, imagine how poking your arm with a knife feels, but on your mind instead. It's probably because everything in our body is linked to our brain...?" She shrugged, it wasn't like she really knew. "Do you want to see them?"

"The mind daggers are...destructive to the mind, but not to anything not alive." Then she nodded to the question about painting pictures in her mind. "I can do that too. They will seem very real too."

She then looked towards Cythi, then emotionlessly said. "I am sorry if I said or did something earlier that caused you to run off." She wasn't sure what she could have said, but she still felt bad.

"You did not.  The issue is with me and the way I was raised is all."  She says and in turn to prove it creates a duplicate of Virginia's drink.  "This is actually getting easier although I am not sure what all I can create?"  She then closes her eyes and makes one more cup, this time hot chocolate.

"I'm glad I didn't." She said with a simple nod to Cythi. "Sometimes people take the way I talk, in odd or bad ways. So I thought...you know..."

"No you are definitely all good by me!" She says letting the situation not get any worse.  "Are there any pastries left?"  She asks looking at Virginia not being sure she can make one or not yet.

"I think she took them with her, but I grabbed an extra one before she left. Want it?" She offered it to Cythi, as she spoke in that flat tone, looking at her with those eyes that glowed a soft blue.

Feeling invisible Virginia nudges the platter of tiny doughnuts forward. She looks at her arms wondering if she might BE invisible to them! They will think a ghost moved the plate!! She waits to see to see how they react!

"You hadn't talked in so long, I thought you a statue." She said, simply, to Virginia.

"Thank you very much Virginia.  I was so looking forward to this in a way.  Although you know what would make these better?" She says taking a moment pause.  "Bacon!"

"...bacon coated donut's sound gross." She said flatly, but there was actually a small hit of emotion in that voice then.

Virginia is a bit surprised and disappointed when the other girls speak to her. She thought for certain a strange new power of invisibility had emerged!

"....sounds Deeelicious! That would be like meat candy! Sex for your taste buds! Add an egg and you would have breakfast! We should open up an eatery! I swear this show is destined for the Food Network!"

Virginia says all of that in a silly manner not meaning to be serious.

"I honestly do not think I would add an egg.  I think that would ruin the doughnut."  She stops and thinks about it before making a face at the thought.

"And I am not sure it would be like sex but then again I would...."  She stops herself, "I just do not think that is the case either way!"

"I wouldn't know anything about sex...  I do anything overly emotional and I'm libel to hurt or worse whoever I am with. As to your meal plan, I reiterate my previous vote of gross." She said simply, regaining her normal stoic emotionless tone.

"Your opinions are valid. I am just saying I would do it. The bacon with doughnuts and the sex, both!" She laughs and then looks around. "There are no cameras recording this are there?"

"I don't think there are.  But I have no qualms admitting anything on camera.  Mainly as really I don't think I have anything to hide."  Cythi was different when a certain person was not around.

It is at this point she grabs the precious pastry and actually has some of it.

"I have nothing left to hide. When I was arrested the loss of control of my abilities was very public." She explained emotionlessly, with a shrug.

"Oh my..." Virginia is not sure what having nothing left to hide means but implications are wide.

"I am not sure if I have anything to hide per se. Let's just say I would prefer to manage perceptions when possible."

Virginia hops up and goes to the refrigerator. "Is there any bacon in here? I did not get any since I knew B.I. was down the road. I should get some in case of an emergency."

She pokes around the fridge for a moment and comes back to the table empty handed. "The rest of those doughnuts are yours," speaking to the both of them. "I will get some more tomorrow."

She slurps at her latte trying to decide if she is ready for bed or not.

Cythi herself eats the doughnut little pieces at a time.

"I do not think I could make bacon as I have a feeling I am restricted to what I can make.  At least that is the feeling I get."  She says as she looks at the doughnut and then focuses for a second thinking and without warning.



This definitely gets her eyes wide open.

"So like yeah, if you eat that, you are definitely having the same thing as sex!"

Virginia eyes the cheesecake with desire but decides to not partake.

She wishes everyone a goodnight and bounces up the steps. She is asleep and off to Everland within fifteen minutes.

"If it is like having sex would that not be boring.  I imagined sex being more fun?"  She says even as she creates a second one for Marie.

"Have a wonderful night Virginia.  And thank-you for everything today!"

"She is obsessed with sex. If I was that obsessed with sex, half the city would likely be...." She said emotionlessly, with a simple nod, leaving the sentence hanging like that.

She then looked at the offered cheesecake, taking it. "Thank you."

"I don't think she is obsessed.  She just probably has had the experience that I am guessing neither of us had.  Still mine is born out of how I was raised why but that is a story for another day!"  She says with a smile.

"You are welcome.  I just hope it tastes as good as it looks."  She says before actually trying some, "And it does!"

"I have not been here a day, and she has mentioned that one thing or another is as good as sex more times in the last hour then donuts she had eaten." Marie pointed out emotionlessly. "I have a legitimate reason for not having sex, well, at least for the last month. Before that I was just being a good girl...  Well, as good as a girl that hung out with the people I did could be." She considered something for a moment, it was obvious she was thinking.

She then looked at her, then at the cheesecake. Finally she takes a bite. "It is good. That is an interesting ability you have."

"Thank-you very much although mostly my powers consist of teleporting.  I am not sure on this ability though as I have never used it.  Still it has some fun advantages so far." She smiles eating a bite of the cheesecake.

"She is the closest thing I have had to a best friend so I am thinking you are saying I should ask her.  Maybe she will tell me if something is up?"

"Teleporting. That sounds neat." Came her flat emotionless tone. "I fly using my telekinesis. Kinda pushing myself through the air. I can use it to make a protective field around me too."

Then she cocked her head to the side. "Actually I was considering if I should ask her if I could read her mind, to see what her experience with sex is like. Since I'll never get to experience it without hurting someone. So...maybe...I can see through her eyes...some context to what she's saying." Then she thought about it a moment. "...thats a dumb idea though." She gave a say and just laid her head on the table with a small thud. "...though, you should do that too...  I am sure she's okay though."

The thought of someone reading her mind actually sends shudders down her spine but she does not let it out if she can.

"Flying is something I would have loved.  Don't get me wrong teleporting is really cool but it is instant.  Like I am there and then I am not.  Flying has the joy of the journey."  Cythi answers avoiding the later but realising it could come off as rude.  "I am not sure what she would say but I will request that if at all possible to never read mine.  Privacy is something that makes me feel safe sometimes."

"I won't do it without asking first." She said with a simple nod, thinking that point was made clear when she said she was thinking about asking Virginia about it. "And that is the reason why I won't do it without asking."

"That is fair."  Cythi says as she relaxes at that assertion.  "I am however thinking we should turn in for the night as I am getting tired to be honest."

"I suppose so." She said with a simple nod.

Toes wriggle.

Legs stretch.

Arms reach.

Eyes pop open.

Virginia's eyes slowly adjust to the golden sunlight streaming through her second floor windows. Throwing the covers back, she kips up out of bed.

A new song begins in her head and she sashays to the beat out onto the second floor balcony.

The sounds and smells of the city are once again the same. While not idyllic, it is another day given so time to be about it. Virginia twirls to the song and goes back inside.

She bends and stretches her nude lithe nude form, feeling some soreness from yesterday's unexpected activities.

Going to the mirror and she holds a mental conversation to practice her expressions.
"I wonder what today will hold?" she places her right hand to her chin, her left to the elbow, looks up to the left, purses her lips, and twists them to the side.
Suddenly she pulls her arms back, throws her hands open, straightens her torso, and beams a wide smile into the mirror, "For MEEEEE?!!"
This she continues for several more minutes keeping her acting chops in shape.

This completed, she goes to the door and yells into the hallway "TEN MINUTES!" She slams the door shut on purpose to shudder the sleepy heads in the house with a giggle.
She brushes her teeth, puts her hair in a ponytail, and begins searching for some clothes.
She finds a tank top and other items that flatter her petite form. Cell phone, headphones, and sunglasses complete the ensemble. Out the bedroom door she goes.

Arriving in the kitchen she begins thinking about bacon doughnuts and waits to see if anyone is going to join her.

Cythi was up fairly early a fact that still has not broken since her escape.  Today though was practising what Virginia had helped her with the day before.  But also takes the time to practice her new found ability which includes surprisingly creating things and testing what she can and can not create to the point of tiring herself out.  Thankfully she recovers by the time she hears the 10 minute warning.

At that point she creates 2 Latte's to bring down and is dressed in one of the outfits she picked the day before which include the Goth platform shoes.  Main reason is she needs practice walking in them and walks very slowly practising each and every step.

She manages to get down with the drinks intact but Virginia can easily tell that she almost stumbles a few time.  Still she gets there and offers the cup of dream as well as putting the other one on counter for Marie if she comes down.

"Morning!"

Virginia freezes and watches Cythi come down the steps in her platts carrying the drinks.

"Oh, that smells great!" She breaks pose and bounces over to accept it. She steps away taking a long slurping taste. "Mmm, taste good too!" She indulges in a couple more sips.

Turning back to Cythi she makes dramatic looking from her shoes to her eyes twice. "Like what is this? How are you going jogging in those, Miss Mary Pop-In?"

She makes a funny inquiring face to flavor her sarcasm. In her mind she figures Cythi must have other things to do than go with her this morning though.

"Oh dang it I forgot.  One second."  Cythi says as she teleports back to her room, quickly changes and teleports back down now wearing the appropriate attire that is same as yesterday but obviously been cleaned.  "I think I need work out clothes too."  She comments.

Marie finally would show up in the kitchen, rubbing her eyes. Her short blonde hair looked haphazardly brushed but somehow she still managed to look appealing even with her small, yet athletic and toned build. She was wearing her tell tail worn jeans and grey hoodie as she walked into the kitchen. "You are loud." She said, obviously to Virginia. "What was the point of yelling?" She continued emotionlessly as she moved for the refrigerator.

"Sun's out, buns out!" Virginia responds with a pop to her tush. She watches Marie shuffle to the fridge."Got to stay in shape! If this show hits, you could be a national image! Think about it. You want to look your best. I am going jogging. Anyone can join me. It is completely optional."

She fingers her labiomental groove for a moment then says, "I think I will call it Dawn Patrol if the producers show up. That sounds like a thing doesn't it?" She asks a little serious, a little jokingly.
