GM, 14 posts Thu 17 May 2018 at 16:13 | NightmareAs the hammer slams down, you bolt upright in bed, the sting of death left waiting on the other side of a bad dream. Looking around, you realize that you are in your room at the Salty Spoon Inn in the city of Githay, the morning sun shining through your open window on the third floor. The smell of salt and dirt from the surrounding swamp invades your nostrils. You stretch, get out of bed and get dressed, images of the trapped door inside of that snake mouthed building haunting your mind with each blink of your eyes. You decide to go downstairs and get some food.
Downstairs you see that the bar area is sparsely populated, mostly old timers getting an early start on the days drinking. The barkeep asks you if you are hungry while going ahead and fetching you some food. Eggs, bacon and toast with some sort of jam. As you happily munch on your food, you overhear the old coggers talking in the far corner.
Roll a D6 x 3 please

You hear something about a group of children who knock on doors at night and sing nursery rhymes to those who answer the door. The odd thing is, they don't live in this village.
You also hear about a a sighting of a headless horseman over on Rambold Road heading northeast to Gaberly. Rumor is that he's looking for his next head.
They also speak of a strange black dog who has been roaming the streets at night near the docks. He appears thin and mangie with a slight limp and seems to be looking for something. But then again, it's just a dog.

Tossing the money for the food on the table, he heads back up to his room. He had a lot to do this day, and it was just about time for the shops to start opening up he reckoned.

The sun is starting to peek out from behind the tall cypress trees that surround Githay and the sound of tree frogs croaking their morning song can be heard over the occasional voices of the passersby.
The streets are not very busy today, though you do see quite a few business opening their doors. In the middle of the square you see a man sitting behind a wooden stall with what appears to be mounds of a brown substance yelling, “Firewood! Come get ya firewood!.”

GM, 18 posts Wed 13 Jun 2018 at 18:18 | NightmareYou wander down toward the docks with your pole over your shoulder, eager to catch some fish. The morning fog hangs heavily in the air and the oppressive heat of the swamp makes breathing a little difficult. You see that the docks in this town are meager, with room for only 20 medium sized boats at a time. The wood of the docks is made from cypress though, so the boards are in good shape. Over towards the west side of the dock you see what appears to be a good place to wet a line. Only a few minutes pass before the bite is on and your first fish is on the stringer. You notice something a ways off to your right, just far enough to make it hard to see detail. It seems there is a humanoid figure walking through the swamp. You follow it with passing curiosity when suddenly it appears to just fall straight down.

Caderyn picks up his rod, leaving the stringer in the water, and starts to head towards the spot where the figure fell. While doing this, Caderyn looks around for a guard or someone to help him.
