The street was glorious in its fanciness. The small town really went all out. The sidewalks were smooth grey stones, joined with such precision that the joins were almost invisible. The houses there were nothing short of monoliths, the bastions of the city's pride, letting you know these are the folks you might want on your side at the town hall meetings. The houses all had big gates all around to politely let you know you should move on along.

They even had their own park and a lush country club. Apparently you could get more than beer, whiskey, and rum there, much to Bill's consternation.
