5th Rule of the Gunslinger. Be aware of the mates at your back. That's where the deadliest bullets come from.

(The Pretty Lady is the most dangerous of us. Ego and charm drip off her almost as thick as her ambition. She'll go far, or destroy herself, or both. Thinks she's in charge already.)

(Sister's likely the best of us in a fight. She's like a big hound. Loyal and eager to please, but more than eager to savage one of her own for advantage in the pack. She'll be our leader. I'll pack her over the Pretty Lady. If only because she won't see my gun at her back if it comes to it.)

(Can't get a read on the Big Man. There is either a lot going on behind those eyes, or very little. Best keep my best eye on him.)

(Best choose these words carefully. Information has power.)

Cromwell pulls himself out of his slouch and looks to his fellow Acolyte. "I was a gun-hand in Scintillia. Did work for the Cartels there. Drugs, extortion, and protection mostly. Our boss tasked me and a few other bits of muscle to transport a package from a Hive-noble to some Dreggers down in the sump. No easy task. The dreggers were heretics of some breed or another. And what I saw down their was enough to make a bastard like me flinch. I pulled my gun a shot the freaks down. Then I shot the bastards who bitched about not getting our payment now. Then I went and reported what was happening down their And UP there to the arbites. The thanked me for the tip, then arrested me and beat me within an inch of my life for threatening the operations that payed them so much. I'd of been killed in my cell if the Inquisitors acolytes hadn't found me and given me pardon. I reckon the inquisitor saw some further use in me. So here I am."

(Then their's the tool boy. Good, Honest, Smart enough to be proper stupid. He best learn to put those brains and circuits to good use, or he won't last long in this crowd.)

(Hmm that appears to be everyone but the brute, but I never expected him to talk much anyway. As far as enemies go, Nevellius is the only obvious one and probably the brute as well considering how close they stick to each other)

(Love seems to be the loyal and honest type, quick to react emotionally, easy to manipulate. Her type is one of my favorites to play with, one of my favorites to break)

(Merc is the cautious type, untrustworthy and difficult to manipulate, best not to make too much use of him beyond his standard skill set)

(The Cultist creeps me out, but like most of his kind, he should be harmless)

Completely disregarding the fact that Alyss already suggested this "I think we should be ready now. Looking at our options, I think that setting up a rendezvous with the third least hostile faction should be our first priority."

Lhari will head to the equipment room. He will prioritize looking for communication equipment as well as any miscellaneous tech that he might be able to utilize. He already has a combi tool, auspex and medicae kit so anything else that he might see as useful.

Before you pass through the bulkhead, the captain mentions that he ordered his best shuttle pilot to prep the lighter you'll be riding in, meet him in the shuttle bay in 45 minutes.

As you are on a small Imperial naval vessel, especially one not explicitly outfitted for troop deployments, certain nonstandard equipment is hard to find. You can find Common (or below) availability equipment without the "Primitive" quality without a roll. However, an additional -10 modifier will be added to the requisition roll for every step above Common. Since you are currently isolated from the planet below, the normal subtlety penalty does not apply, but you will only be able to make 3 rolls each due to your time constraints.

Alyss rummages around in the armory for a bit, finds a chainsword then heads to an equipment room where she finds an exterminator. She attaches the mountable flamethrower to her chainsword and grins. This will punish a few heretics. She then packs up her things and heads to the transport.

Jumping up from her seat. "Well I guess I best get dressed for the mission. If anyone needs me I'll be in my quarters."

Looking at Nivellius and grinning facetiously  "If you want to join me you're welcome to, Nevy-boi"

Domonia leaves the command room.

Packing to leave in his quarters (his own private quarters, Imagine that!), Cromwell was as happy as a child on Sangquinor morning.

Laid out in front of him was a collection of guns to make any Gunmetal Ganger proud. First, and closest to the right side of the bed was his old beat-up Westingkrup Model 20 "scalptaker" revolver. Cromwell had a sneaking suspicion that his father had given it to him just in case the Arbites came by looking for a gun that matched the bullet hole in the back of his uncles head. But he didn't give a damn, he'd cared it since he was four years old it never go into battle without it strapped reassuringly to the small of his back.

Next to the Scalptaker was a weapon equally rugged but far more evil of appearance and design. The 'Hack shotgun was a simple duel barrel shotgun, gut down to a six inch duel barrel with a modified, cheap trigger designed to fire both barrels with a single trigger pull. Ugly, Inaccurate, and brutal it had been the first and last word in many an altercation between the infernis gangers of scintilla. This weapon would be hidden above the Scalptaker, its bulky profile hopefully covered by his long jacket.

Above these things got interesting. Sleek, Black, and lighter than sin on an Imperial Barons heart Was the Hecutter 9-5 Heavy Combat auto Pistol. The "prince of Pistols" so its said. A smooth trigger guard meant it would be easy to draw from the fast draw holster at his right side. And the studded pistol grip would give the bird-light gun some heft if he needed to give someone a decent whack. If the eighteen in the mag and one in the hole didn't do the job of course.

If the Hecuter was a prince. Than the Mark&Krupp "Stormchild" next to it was the fat, indolent king. A five rounds of .357 caliber Manstopper bullets would put a hole through the prick behind the prick you wanted to shoot. Its simple, elegant design was tested by untold millennia of men killing each other. This would sit on his left hip. Reverse holstered in case he needed to draw something while sitting or lying down.

Above this wonderful collection sat a rifle that put any other weapon to shame. If The emperor himself had come to Cromwell and declared him his long lost son and granted on him a boon to mark this momentous occasion, Cromwell would never have asked for this rifle least he overstep his bounds. The Fykos Forge "Nomad" Hunting Instrument was perhaps the greatest cultural achievement Scintilla had ever produced. A masker craft of form and function the Nomad was a weapon the likes of which men kill for. Ten are produced every year. Ten, and Ten alone Custom made to order of the highest families of Scintilla and across the expanse. Over the years some of those families had fallen, but the priceless of their heirlooms had not.

Cromwell Reckoned that that where this beauty had come from. He'd found it siting on the bed, just waiting for him. He'd almost missed it. It was a gift. Had to be. From the Inquisitor, though it had no note and had been given without ceremony. A token to cement his loyalty no doubt. If it was then the Inquisitor was a damn fool. He'd have sold his life for much less than this.

Strapping on his weapons, and placing the nomad reverently in a small carrying case. Cromwell grabs a small bag of cloths and hurries to meet his teammates at the shuttle.

After Domonia made it back to quarters located in VIP section of the ship, something she managed to secure using her family's connections, she quickly stripped of her casual clothes and got in the shower. When she got out, she spent a significant amount of her limited time trying to decide how to stylize her hair in a way that was post sexy and professional and ultimately ended up going to with China girl style double bun. Her work uniform was a black military officers's uniform with a black military officer's cap engraved with the symbol of the Inquisition. On her left was a gun holster for a small laspistol. On her right was a custom made holster for a whip with the handle sitting in the holster and length secured by a clip.

When she was finished getting ready, she checked her watch, (2 minutes to launch, I should have enough time). She put her coat on, left her room, and headed for the shuttle.

As you approach the shuttle bay, you can hear the whine of the shuttle's engines warming up. While far from the most glamorous craft, the void-capable Arvus is a reliable workhorse of the Imperium. You notice that the cargo door is open, revealing the sparse interior, although it would appear that the captain was gracious enough to provide a shuttle retrofitted for squad transport. The massive form of Uroch stands inside, either oblivious or indifferent to the benches and harnesses along the walls.

Captain Jaric is standing nearby, watching a pair of servitors slowly plod through preflight routines with a critical eye.

20th Law of the Gunhand: So you're masters speaking beyond reason and sent you to kill a man better than you'll ever be? Your options are three; Kill him in his bed, at his table, or within his vehicle.

Cromwell flinched as he compulsively recited another of the gunhands laws to himself. The habit would be easier to break if it wasn't so damn true. Vehicles were deathtraps. Forgetting all possibility of accident or disaster, if the pilot was compromised or the vehicle sabotaged theirs nothing that he could do to defend himself. And that was terrifying...

Cursing himself for his helplessness Cromwell takes a Seat next to the Cog-Boy."So Lhari ,this bird will fly Right?"

Roll 63 on perception test.

30 seconds to launch time, Domonia comes running into the ships hanger. Time has slowed down. She glances over to the side giving a seductive smile to the ships workers whom all faint at her presence. Even the servitors briefly shut down in awe as she gracefully jumps from the hanger to loading pad of the shuttle as it's closing.

...Or that is how it was supposed to go. What really happened was, that because Domonia was giving seductive looks to crew members, she didn't notice a servitor working right in front her which she then somersaulted over landing right on her face. She then got up and quickly brushed off her unifrom and hair before walking the rest of the way to the shuttle which was not actually in the process of closing its boarding gate yet. She then took her seat next to Alyss preferring to keep her mouth shut this time.

Nivellius rounds the corner, and begins to profusely thank the captain for his help and accommodation thus far. While Nivellius is busy pestering the captain, a servitor carrying a massive blade in a ragged leather sheath shuffles aboard. A massive arm shoots out from Uroch's robes and with surprising dexterity for his size, swings the sheath onto his back.

As the servitor exits down the ramp, Nivellius strides aboard. "We need to decide on a destination. Since the Inquisitor seems to want me to take a passive leadership role, I shall allow you to decide where we begin our search. When you reach a consensus, we'll inform the pilot and set off." You note that the Inquisitor said no such thing, although Nivellius is right about one thing; a consensus must be reached.

(That prick is trying to get ahead of me. Well I bet he doesn't see this coming.)

Smiling subtlety at Nivellius, "Well since Nevi-boi here was almost certainly NOT appointed to lead this mission, I think our first order of business should be choosing a leader."

Pointing her thumb to her left at Alyss, "Personally, I think Love should lead since she seems to have the most experience with this kind of thing."

Looking across to Cromwell,  "I think the mercenary would agree."

Nivellius holds the hastily wired comm and tells the pilot of your decision to set off for the capital city of Cerrus. You hear the squawk of acknowledgement from a dilapidated speaker, and the door slowly closes. The engines roar, and you feel the shuttle jolt forward, presumably exiting the ship and departing towards the planet below.
