I think a lot of Artifacts, Custom charms, Sorcerous Workings and Spells are going to crop up here. Since our discussions tend to go back and forth over specific points a lot, I figure we should just have a discussion thread to keep things consolidated.

I'll start the discussion off with something I think was poorly edited for word count in the Main book. In the special activation rules of Legend Mask Methodology (pg. 401) give a discount to Flawlessly Impenetrable Disguise and Perfect Mirror if they are used during the time one is assuming a persona via Heart-Eclipsing Shroud.

The implication from my reading is that at that point the persona is becoming so 'complete' that it can gain a new appearance along with abilities and charms. The problem is that both the Larceny charms in question only last until the Solar sleeps the next time, while the persona lasts indefinitely.

I think that the part that was cut for word count or badly edited is that 'if' Flawlessly Impenetrable Disguise and Perfect Mirror are used as part of assuming a persona, they last until the Solar abandons the persona.

Part of my support for this is that the Persona being adopted may not have Larceny at all, so would have no way to re-adopt the disguise after sleeping. Corrolary to that, I think that Socialize should be removed from the dot count in Hundred-Faced Stranger and every persona has Socialize at the same level as the Solar, otherwise it is possible to get 'stuck' in a persona as you don't meet the prerequisites to use Heart-Eclipsing Shroud anymore, and ending the persona requires using that charm.
