Cleric Cantrips wouldn't help much, since as a 1st Edition Arcanist (White Mage) I had access to all cure spells as I leveled. Now, I could get around that Caveat a bit by going Sorceress and taking one of the bloodlines that give Divine or Primal as that gives the Heal spell. Then, problem solved.

Well then it sounds like there is interest in a conversion. This is also the perfect "mini-dungeon" to take new 2e characters for a test drive.

I can't figure out how to export it but if you just write down what you selected where, that works. This looks like it just has the core book loaded so there are additional options available so when I'm reviewing your sheet I can let you know.

What I recommend is using this to figure out the overall character creation process and then go on the Archives of Nethys 2e to build out the actual character.

Here's a question that has some merit. Would we still be 2nd level? That would help in how I approach this rebuild too.

Excellent point! By GM fiat you can start at 3rd level. I will go back and do some "back of the envelope" estimations on what your actual XP total should look like and if it is under 3rd level then so be it.

This is especially nice as it unlocks first access to prestige classes/mutliclassing.

Also if anyone wants I can take a stab at creating a 2e conversion of your character. This would not be set in stone but as a service it might be easier for people to make changes to an existing sheet rather than filling out every single option by themselves.

I've already got a pretty good idea of the route I'm going to go with Phelar. Will likely take the approach I outlined above in order to keep most of her feel.

As a reminder when it comes to equipment, you start with 25gp that you can spend however you want.

I will afterwards be looking at your 1e equipment and granting you some extra stuff to bring you in line with wealth-by-level.

Why not just transfer our 1e gear over? Most should still transfer.

The economies of 1e and 2e are very different. I intend to try and keep things as similar as possible but I'm not promising a 1:1 conversion until I can look deeper into it.

Figuring some stuff out but the system is admittedly confusing, may need some more time. Sorry. It feels like pf2 was meant to line up with 5e dnd compared to 3x ala pf1.

So I dunno if anyone else can use this but I found Pathbuilder2e which is a google playstore char builder app and seems pretty solid and detailed. Helped me figure out things a bit better on my skills after I had errors pointed out!

Yes. Unfortunately for me it is only available through Android and not iOS but you can also get emulators for your computer to mimic an android OS.

I just use HeroLab online which works just as well on your mobile web browser as it does your PC's.

As a reminder, don't feel you need to purchase all of your 1e equipment. You have 25gp to spend so spend it how you want and then what you receive from the exchange will bring you up to your appropriate "wealth by level"

I'm working on the character, but much of what you suggested will remain.  I'm a little behind as there has been a lot of family stuff (although not as many people as normal) to do.

On lunch today, I started to look at a few of my normal videos and groups to read, when I came upon this from Taking20 (https://youtu.be/-fyninGp92g).  When I did some more searching, I did find a few others that said the same thing (and those that said it is too much like 5e, but I don't see that one).  For those who have been playing longer, what do you think?  This is my first time with it.  1e was fine with me, but I had not thought I would go to 2e and only did for here.
