Not quite a 'puppy' at all at this point.

Re: other stuff

So most dogs, I guess, can pick up in their mouth and carry, stuff smaller than them.

So we’re math’ing Scraps at 60+cm (about the height of a tennis racquet), and 38kg (75lb).
To be honest, I had not yet visualised Scraps at any particular size ...

My 8yo daughter is 38kg ... and stands at about 136cm.
At 18months, she was as big as a koala.
At 2years, as tall as the average door handle height.

So I guess it’s up to the GM how big this toddler is.
Koala sized, I reckon a Dalmatian of Scraps size could pick up and carry.
But probably not a two year old.

Yeah for in-game mathemagics

I say our hostage is shorter than the average doorknob height, but not by much. So I think Scraps could drag him pretty well, but not carry and run.

The hostage would call a mature Great Dane a "puppy," so I didn't have to worry about the math until now...

Okay, If I don't post in the next 23 hours or so feel free to nudge me-- I might post in the next 20 mins, or not in the next 20 hours, not sure

Re: other stuff

Until after I'd posted, I forgot about Goodwill choosing to reduce the retaliation.

SINCE BLACKJACK ROLLED A 15, i almost didn't reduce it anyway, but in the end I decided that a human (albeit henchman) life being in danger too was (barely) enough extra consequence.

I hate to say it... but I didn't reduce the retaliation. I hit hard.

I have Durability to reduce most damage, though.

1. Yeah, you're right, my mistake. Goodwill DID take 2 stress.

2. Yeah, i INCLUDED your durability. Still 2 stress.

The freaky scarecrow mask-looking thing was the closest I could do for a portrait of Blackjack, since they didn't have a male mummy. Oh well, at least he's stitched up and stuff...

You have much going on, and feeling unwell is never fun. I suspect we'll still be here when you can post.

In the meantime, here is some popular music: radio plays Apaché by the Shadows...

"Choke-Me Elmo" is a good line... except that it's 1963.

Same reason that I didn't call Breakneck "Brokeback".

In reply to Goodwill (msg # 925):

You are very much right. Darn. I suppose I will have to change it.

EDIT: The deed is done, and now I must grieve.

Re: other stuff

My daughter's school, like most U.S  colleges, has said students shouldn't come back from spring break. Online classes only, for the rest of the semester.

So I get to have a teenager back, on top of everything else.

I should have more time to myself after this week (certainly I will have even more time sitting at a computer!), but for now I am trying to keep my family members calm and entertained...

Would it be a Hold Them Off if I were to use electrical abilities to shock Blackjack to try and get him to drop me?

Quick check: Cosmic Girl, did you not try to save Shawna the falling henchperson because HECK with Shawna the falling henchperson, or because you felt there wasn't time to attempt to do so? Because (if you didn't blast the wall) I would say there's still time...
