I have been just about out of my mind with anxiety over the election, which obviously is not over.

I expect to return when this anxiety is resolved satisfactorily.

Same here. I'm a US citizen and I've been losing a lot of sleep. been slowing down with schoolwork and workwork too, much to my chagrin...

It is how insightful works, according to the rules? 10+ on the roll allows you to ask three questions across the subsequent scene. Questions relating to what you're up to, someones state or motivations, and so forth. You get to "hold three" questions for use over the scene.

On 7, Scraps has one question to use, too.

Unless our GM is running things differently. I just went by what is on the rules page. :)

Must not know what the rule was because I have NEVER succeeded at an Insightful roll.

I admit, I was surprised that I did, given my track record, and Insight being my -1 roll modifier! Cosmic Girl is very good at blowing stuff up, and acrobatics. Not so great at the thinking...

It's a holdover from the PbtA (Powered by the Apocalypse) system (like Dungeon World) that I cadged the 2d6 mechanics from.

Yeah, I don't think about it much, but if one wants, one can ask certain questions.

And I don't think about it even more, but if one gets a result of 10 or better, one can save up some of the questions for a little later...
