RTJ - Character Creation - Character Sheet
Please read everything that follows for the RTJ as I would like that first with the basic information that is required. Don't feel you have to do a full character till I have accepted you into the game. I will also setup your character sheet for you once you are accepted so that you can fill it out.

If you submit the following to me that is all that you need to do at the moment anyways for entrance. And yes, I'd like a writing sample to give me an idea of your writing skills. I'd also like at least three plot hooks for your characters, from far reaching things to something short term. If you have more plot hook ideas, toss them in.

I will be using the following books but be aware that other than the main book, all the others are secondary and anything out of them is approval only. You will find a few things I have already taken from them as I wanted to make use of them.

Character Creation - Special
What follows are some special ideas of my own with benefits and penalties due to choices that you can make. You will choose one of the following Survivor Types that you like for your character.

Vault 190 Dweller
  • Edges: Lab Assistant - Knowledge(Science) +2
  • Skills: Knowledge(Medicine) d4 and Knowledge(Science) d4

New Butte Citizen
  • Edges: Rad Resistance - radiation resistance +2
  • Skills: Shooting d4 and Streetwise d4

Amerind Scout
  • Edges: Outdoorsman - Survival +2
  • Skills: Fighting d4 and Survival d4

Montana Brotherhood Scout
  • Edges: Strong Back - carry an additional 25 pounds
  • Skills: Repair d4 and Shooting d4

Character Creation - Building Rules
These are the normal Building Rules for creating your character but remember to apply the above Special to the base human here. There are a few additions as well due to my own House Rules that you will need to be aware of. You will find those below as well so no need to look anywhere else for them.

Building Rules
  • Attributes: all start at d4 and 5 points to spend to raise them by a die
  • Skills: all start at d0 and 15 points to spend to raise them by a die1
  • Charisma: is 0 unless raised by Edge or lowered by Hindrance
  • Pace: is 6' unless raised by an Edge or lowered by a Hindrance
  • Parry: is 2 plus half your Fighting skill
  • Toughness: is 2 plus half your Vigor attribute
  • Hindrances: may take 1 Major(worth 2 points) and 2 Minor(worth 1 point per)
  • Edges: get 2 freebie Edges
  • Gear: start with 5000 caps

1 Cannot go higher than associated Attribute

Race
  • All characters are Human
  • All Humans gain a free Edge for being Human
  • All Humans start with a Rad Resistance of 1
