"That's an excellent idea," responds Nezaglomie, "but rather than aiming for them, you should get a fire burning on whatever exit door they might escape through.  We don't want one of them escaping and bringing reinforcements.  How long will your fire burn?  If you just have oil you can throw in there, I can light it, and that would burn for long enough for us to engage them."

"I don't have oil, but I have two bombs. That's what they are, chemical bombs. It's called alchemist's fire. It'll burn for a minute or so. Not sure I would throw one at the exit though, the initial damage might destroy the door and the burning isn't awesome. It may not have the effect you intend." She considered a moment. "Still, if you want to try that route I can give you the other one. You hit the escape route and I hit them."

Za considers her own throwing prowess, "mmm, sure, if you like, but maybe there's someone with better aim than I have.  I, uhh, throw my little balls of fire with magic, not my arm.  I'm, maybe, not the best choice for real throwing."  She stands up to her full 2 feet 10 inches to try to ward off the feelings of physical inadequacy, but it doesn't help.

[Chapter 1.03] The Citadel Below

Opening the door reveals an antechamber, a waiting room for guests before entering one of the other rooms. Once luxurious seating made from mahogany and velvet has been broken to pieces and used to fashion crude shelters. To the north, a door is heavily barricaded with debris.

Standing in the middle of the room is a frog looking warrior talking to three monkey warriors.

[Chapter 1.03] The Citadel Below

Nezaglomie peeks around the corner to see into the room.  "Ugh.  Disgusting," she spits out when she sees the frog creature.  Somewhat belatedly, Za realizes that she is nearly useless standing behind all these bigs in a narrow corridor.  Not wanting to try to weave an alchemists fire nor a ball of flame through the legs of Maerk and Yarr, she uses Telekinetic Projectile to grab a chunk of old furniture that it already in the room and tries to crash it into the frog creature.  However, trying to see through the gloom and through the crowd ahead of her, she has little idea where she is aiming and the shot is wide by a good margin.

Action 1&2:  Telekinetic projectile
12:05, Today: Nezaglomie rolled 7,7 using d20+5,d6+4.  Telekinetic projectile at Froggy.

BTW, you have all our attacks one point too low, since we all gained a point with the level up.  (At least, I did, I assume everybody did.)
Edit:  I see you've corrected that, but you now have me at TK +8.  I'm only +5 with TK, because it uses dexterity rather than spell ability.

An eerie roaring sound trailed his sudden entry into the chamber, a keening cry of battle! The Ulfen's sword swept downward to strike while his footwork carried him just a bit to the side in order to allow his flashy companion a means to attack as well!

[Chapter 1.03] The Citadel Below

Nez causes the room furniture to whirl around but the frog man ducks to avoid it.

Yala chucks in a pair of firebombs. The first hits dead on but the second ends up being a dud.

Maerk charges forward, hitting the frog man with a heavy strike before slipping to the side.

Sularius fires off a pair of arrows, sinking one of them.

Yarr charges up behind Maerk, juking to the right before striking from the left catching the frog man off guard.

Arnellia finds herself too far back in the hallway to even see the enemies but she remains waiting as back up in case her talents are needed.

The series of sudden attacks has left the frog man heavily wounded but it manages to bring its club to bear. First the frog's gullet expands and it lets loose a horrifying croak that reverberates off the stone and seems absolutely horrifying in sound, like a cry from the depths of hell.

OOC: Everyone must make a DC 18 will save or become Frightened 1.

The frog then turns to smash Maerk with its club but Maerk deflects it with his shield sending the force of the blow sliding off to the side. Undeterred it swings again and this time Maerk sidesteps the attack.
A1: Terrifying Croak (auditory, emotion, fear, mental)
A2: Attack Maerk - miss
A3: Attack Maerk - miss

Meanwhile behind the frog the monkey warriors are grabbing everything not tied down and flinging it rapidly at Yarr and Maerk. It is a veritable avalanche as it turns out the monkey's brahcial adaptations of flexible wrists and long strong arms creates a perfect throwing mechanism.

While their armor takes the brunt and they do their best to dodge the incoming debris both Maerk and Yarr end up taking some solid hits from pieces of furniture and stone.

OOC:
All monkeys use 3 actions to fling debris
Maerk takes 8 bludgeoning and Yarr takes 4 bludgeoning from the thrown debris

"Ye'll be croakin' in another way in a mo', ya gurgle gargling goose groper!" Yarr quips as he so totally resists the fear effect he isn't even aware it was supposed to be intimidating.

He jabs at it, striking home before wheeling around it and going after monkey #3, slashing it across the ribs as he spins around to his new position with the grace of a dancer.

Save vs Croak: Nat 20 for 25 total.
A1: Attack Frog, 27 to hit, 6 damage.
A2: If frog dies, Stride to Q20. If frog survives, Tumble Through to Q19 with rolls of 26 to set up possible flank on it for Maerk.

The noise was utterly terrifying. A man of battle, Maerk was no stranger to fearful things, but this sound was something new to the big man... up until it turned into a gurgle from Yarr's well-placed attack! Still a bit unnerved, Maerk stepped forward and swung his blade, narrowly missing one of the monkey-creatures. He raised his shield, making ready for another onslaught, but his feet were set to react should there be an opportunity.

Yarr cuts down the frog man and moves forward, riding the momentum into the first monkey man.

Yala moves forward slashing with her blade but the monkey men hop and duck around avoiding the attacks.

Nez brings brings an old end table down onto the wounded monkey and cracks its skull, dropping it down.

Maerk finds his original path blocked by Yarr and Yala but can move up into the space left by the now dead or unconscious monkey warrior. Put off by the croak his concentration slips for a second and the monkey dodges his attack.

Sularius moves up and fires but misses.

Arnellia steps up and lets loose a beam of divine energy at one of the monkey men and clips it with holy energy.
OOC: MOnkey Man #2 takes 5 pts of good energy.

The first monkey seems to fly into a rage, hooting and hollering as the heroes step up and  flies into a primal rage as it swings out with its hatchet making big sweeping cleaves in wild and chaotic attacks. The whole time it is shrieking and howling in fury.

OOC: Both monkey men trigger a frenzy on their turns and using their hatchets each make 4 attacks.

A1: Attacking Maerk: +8, 1D6+3 = 5 damage. Let me know if you want to take it on the shield.

A3: Attacking Yala: +1 (+8 -8 MA +1 sweep), 1d6+3 = Miss (just barely!)
