Do we have badges/credentials to be "allowed" to be here?

How restricted is movement on the site?  I was imagining something like a military base with a lot of checkpoints, but is it looser than that?

No badges necessary for most places. It's supposedly a "Research Park" and not a classified location.

Most likely the athletic center is for general use of any of the folks in the Park. It's a fairly loose security in general. Certain buildings are more secure however and require badges for entry.

I'm glad you asked that, Sophie!  I was kind of picturing it like you were, too, but this sounds more like.. a university campus, maybe?  Some restricted areas, and security is around, but for the most part they won't notice you unless you make trouble?

I apologize to everyone for the slowdown, but the holidays have been crazy both at work and home with some family drama.

I do have a slight adjustment to the description and with what Jean has been able to discover.

What used to be a university campus now has a chain link fence around it. There are general security patrols every hour, 2 pairs of typical private security types which appear to be alternating patrols. One additional pair is always at the front gate to the park.. Some of the local PD patrol close, but none seem to enter the research park.

There are always people moving about from one building to another, including to and from the Athletics center and the “Innovation Center”. Every building as well as he front gate have security cameras.

That help set the picture? :)

Also, hope everyone has a happy celebration of whatever holiday you celebrate. :)

I can deal with the camera's. From there, hand out clip-on 'Visitor' badges and avoid the patrols. Should work for the Athletics center at least. Innovation building is likely to be more complex.

Thanks folks!

She was in ICU for a week, and now in a room to herself. Looking at some in-patient rehab for speech, occupational and physical therapy over the next couple of weeks but the way she’s improved even over the last couple of days makes me see her home for Thanksgiving... (although will probably have to order dinner out since she usually cooks, but still :))

My apologies for the continued delay. Wife is now home from rehab as of last Wednesday, but it’s been a hectic time over the holidays and doctor appointments for follow ups since then. She’s doing so much better, I feel like I can relax a bit more and dive back in to gaming some more. :)
