Cera makes shrines to herself where ever we go XD that's one way to attempt to gain worshippers :3

I mean~ She won't deny she might be a little vain.. It'd be a cardinal sin to let her inspiring beauty and talent go to waste!

Acanthya sounds so heart breakingly sweet, Crea's just going to burst into tears every time she looks at 'Thya~

Yep, she's getting a bit maudlin in her old age (84). Though technically, she's probably only just into her middle years if adventuring doesn't kill her first...:-D

Seconding the starting money question! I've filled out my sheet, but I haven't totally settled on my primal path yet

Re: OOC chatter

I'm working out how much I'll give you in usable funds, but for general equipment, assume anything reasonable you'd want to own, you own.  Unless you don't think your character would've invested well, but then take that up with me and we'll work it out!

Re: OOC chatter

Another thing to think about. Since we've been retired for almost twenty years, could we have invested some time and money into learning new languages/tools using the 250gp/250day rule? I mean, it's totally up Acanthya's alley considering she's living a fairly quaint life teaching in a small town...:-)

Re: OOC chatter

Good Question.

Artia also settled down, set up a farm and tended to crops through the area she lived in. Maybe they settled somewhere close to each other Acanthya ?

Re: OOC chatter

Can we have strongholds and/or businesses as of game start?

Because I had Markus running a money lending business after he "retired."

Re: OOC chatter

Strongholds will be a hard no.  Businesses are fine, though when you're out adventuring, it's going to be a sight harder than finding Ye Olde ATM to access your profits!

I'll let you each earmark up to 2,000 gp for use on bettering your educations.  you don't have to use that much, and using or not using it will not affect anything else.

Attention, oh worshipful minio--er, PCs!  Your fearless leader started a new job last week and is finally roughly caught up.  As such, if anyone's waiting on me for anything, please PM me and let me know what.  Well-intentioned kicks in the ass may be permitted.

Everyone gets 7,000 gp in disposable income to spend as you see fit, or snap a pack mule's spine and carry it around as bribe money!  I am working on the shinies.

Pretty sure you can only train languages and tools. I could be wrong as my mastery of 5e is still in its early stages...:-)

Re: OOC chatter

You're partially right Acanthya.  The DMG does provide for the ability to train to learn a feat, but it's as a possible reward, and more of an optional rule.  I subscribe to the "spend it on languages, skills, and took proficiencies" school of thought,.  Does that help (or at least answer the question) Markus?

Re: OOC chatter

Unfortunately, Uthal had to leave us due to that dreaded Real World, of which we hear so many rumors.  I have reached out to the waitlist for one more.

In the meantime, have I performed my DM duties for you all, or do I still need to get back to anyone on anything?
