Assist, Setup, Teamwork

When you make a roll during combat and you don't fail the roll, you get 1 Momentum.

When you fail a roll, you lose 1 Momentum.


--Assist: when you assist a PC teammate, spend 1 Momentum. They get +1 die toward their next roll and can ignore the lowest die. If their roll goes wrong anyway, you suffer the consequences too.

--Setup: Roll to have an indirect action on a target (so, NOT damage to an opponent). The next PC teammate who rolls against that target gets +1 added to their roll.

--Teamwork: All PCs roll to do 1 thing, like attack (must use the same stat). The BEST result is used. Anyone whose roll didn't succeed loses 1 momentum.
