Einhard moves toward the last standings zombie, and swings his handaxe towards its skull. "Check the fallen! I will take care of this."

The blade makes a near miss, a superficial blow that would have left a nasty scar on a living foe, but this threat feels no pain and cares not for beauty contests.

Sasar heard Einhard and sprung into motion.

Moving over to Brother Brodd, he knelt down and checked him for damage.

If he was bleeding he was ready to draw his dagger and cut the bottom of his wizard robe to bandage him.

Sasar locates the lacerations that stained the Acolyte's tunic scarlet, and selflessly shreds his own meager garment to bind his wounds.

He discovers one long stream of crimson rolling across the groove between the stone tiles of the floors that comes not from Brodd, but from Ipheginia several yards away.

Regdoc looked back to see the tide had changed. His faithful hound cocked its shaggy head, waiting for the command to follow or stay. The old-timer let out a tremendous sigh and then returned to the side of Brother Brodd. Kneeling down, with the creaking of knees and joints, Regdoc placed a gnarled hand on the acolyte's forehead. He mumbled a prayer to the Wanderer and invoked the power of his deity.

"Come back young Brother, you're needed here..."

While Yagi fumbles with her rags looking for a scrap large enough to bind her gaping lacerations, Brother Brodd stumbles over and touches her shoulder while uttering a few sacred syllables.

Iffy takes a sharp breath. Her bleeding is staunched.

"A little help here for the hooman!"

Brodd tries to gather himself, feeling very faint!

Iffy places her hand on Yagi's shoulder, as if for support to get back up.

Her disoriented look then turns to one of fear, and she opens her mouth as if to scream.

Then, all expression is lost as crimson vines bloom from her open mouth and writhe closely around her, including up the arm that's now gripping Yagi tightly.

"Another one Chomper! No! Let that one go, it's dead. No Chomper you flea-hotel! Get the other one!" The hound ignored his master and continued to tear at the zombie he'd just shredded.

Chomper rolled 5 to... nah... nevermind.

The oldster looked for the exit and then grimaced. He loaded his sling and attempted a shot at the remaining zombie.

"Nice shot Regdoc, nice shot!" Brodd says as he wipes the blood from his eyes and face.

That zombie takes a round rock to the head, crushing in its skull. It finally collapses.
