<Cranky_Codger_Rant> uh-oh, somebody pushed a button...
Dungeon Faster:
Should I make a Facebook group chronicling our adventures?
Half the time this game feels like a @#$!(%^ facebook group! Grrrrr... Nothing wrong with keeping a chronicle, those can be very cool, and useful when a game gets on in age and players have a hard time remembering what happened years ago... The RPOL built-in Wiki would be fine for that. I don't think diverting attention of DM and Players to the life-leeching FB will speed up our game here at all, and very well could slow it down. RPOL has been super-solid over the years I've been playing here, in fact that last 24 hour blip was one of the longest I've seen in over 8 years on this site. I love this game, I love the players here, but for the love of the Wanderer's Frayed Hem, let's please not do anything to slow it down any further!
Dungeon Faster:
So we’ve got three characters now for new players to jump into. Feel free to ping your friends in rpol and out if they want to jump in!
Let's fade them into the background and keep them as backups or whatever. Introducing more new players into the game will only slow things down more. Either that or split the party and have two groups. It seems the majority of posts here are with regard to either wondering if someone has left the game, or welcoming a new player who only stays here for a week or two and then scrams. Shrink the player base, and the plot will advance more quickly. This DM does a great job of recruiting, but I'm a believer in building cages rather than traps. Keep the players we've got, enrichen the game by advancing the plot and giving us opportunities to gain XP, and us players have to try and advance the plot ourselves!

Sorry/NotSorry for the rant. Love you all, just offering another perspective, not pointing any fingers except the one at myself, but being perhaps the longest surviving player here I figure it's Regdoc's fault I boil over sometimes. ;-)
Again, don't be snowflakes, take this as constructive criticism to make this good game better. We've got good players, and a good, experienced DM, and a cranky ol'bastage like me to crack the virtual whip. :-P
