Once everyone has chosen a side of the road, Amalrik motions for his side to spread 4-5 feet apart. Then they start walking as quietly as possible forward, slow pace. Eyes alert.

Jarvak clears his throat.

"I have enjoyed traveling with you all, but here is where I must say goodbye.  Clark Sparrowheart was one of the outlaws I am tracking, but with the chaos and manticore he got away.   I must continue to pursue him.  Will see about getting a horse here in town and I am off to chase him.   Hopefully we can meet up again."

Jarvak spends a moment to say goodbye to everyone and takes his leave.

OOC:  Thank you all, has been fun.

Durek watches Jarvak go and nudges Dwarghar with an elbow. "Kind of a strange place to be haring off on your own, don't ya think?  Tall folk are right strange."

Manaku drops last on the left side line. He too is surprised hearing Jarvak announce his departure.

"..but one must follow one's heart, I reckon. Safe travels, friend."

Leohart falls into marching order quietly, hand on his wand inside the folds of his robe. He positions himself relatively far back, but not at the very rear.

Einhard is sad that Jarvak picks now to leave but also understands duty and the will to fight.

Not everyone is made for the adventuring life.

He wishes him well then sets off to the task at hand.

[Act IV, Scene II] The Guardhouse

A short distance away from the party, unseen but could still be heard by whomsoever had been listening, a female's voice had screamed quite loudly a singular word.

"EXEMPLAR!"

While no one in the party could see what had been going on quite yet, Lady Starshell had been standing a few feet away from a massive creature with her sword brandished and getting ready to charge head on into battle.

Almost back to the site of the merchant's wagon, Gorn heard the cry. Bringing his mount to a halt, he tried to gain the direction of the cry. If he can ascertain the direction the cry came from, Gorn will ride in that direction.
