The Cathedral to the Majesty of the Life-Giving Sun is its full name, but the residents still refer to it by the smaller original structure preserved inside. The outer structure is just called the Dome or the Great Sundial. Indeed, the tower at the main entrance does act like a sundial, trailing its shadow across the city. At night the Continual Light sconces inside illuminate the stained glass, revealing solar myths of the various peoples assimilated into the Unified Faith of the Ancients. Eleven more towers are being constructed around its edges.

Bishop Gabrielle runs the cathedral. She's a tall woman with long hair that's gone from red to gray with time. She is not one to be trifled with. She once got into a shouting match with Barogar that ended with him serving as guest altar boy for a week.
