Lyrian nails a shriek behind her lips as the floating, moaning, thing comes into view.  She didn't need Landor's admonition to not want to touch it; there was not a reward in the world that would bring her to do that.  She dug out a vial of alchemist's fire and hurled it at the thing to burn it to ash!

OOC: 11:27, Today: Lyrian Swift rolled 22 using 1d20+9.  Attack with alchemist's fire.
11:29, Today: Lyrian Swift rolled 4 using 1d6.  Alchemist's fire damage.

Lyrian throws her alchemists fire and luckly it hits the creature! It begins to catch on fire.

Tai charges the creature, avoiding the flames and misses his mark.

The creature moves through a wall, the fire no longer affecting him. He appears then behind Tai and lets his hands slip through his armor. Tai looks rather pale.

The barbarian charges into the room and swings. He swore he hit but the weapon passes through him!

Landor blasts him with his holy might destroying the creature!

OOC
That was fast.

Gar snorted at the apparition and smiled at the cleric, nodding.  His eyes fell on Tai, and he rushed to his side, holding him up. The half orc smiled as he held him up. "C'mon Tai....your stronger than that. I've seen ye slice an enemy before they could blink."

he looked at Landor with a questioning look.

Landor nods to Gar and walks over to where he and Tai are. He places a hand on Tai’s forehead and whispers a prayer to Pelor. “Pelor, I beseech you to please take away the blight that cursed undead placed on my friend.”Golden light showed under his hand. The cleric smiled and pulled his hand away. “Do you feel better, Tai?”

OOC
So you got 4 doors to the west, 2 on each wall (2 north, 2 south). To the east, you got 8 doors. 4 to the north, 4 to the south. Looks like a corridor both way. Further east you got 3 doors leading further south and a pool. Theres a pool here about 5' wide. There might be more further towards the east. All are closed

Taking the duegar at their word (however dim a prospect that was looking) that the undead lie to the "north east", Lyrian goes to the north doors on the east wall, and checks all for of them for traps (and locks), taking a few minutes with each one to be certain no one will get hurt going through them.  If all is well, she will wait by the most northerly of the doors and wave the others forward to carry on.

OOC: Taking 20, or 2 minutes with each of the four doors, for a 35 Search check on each.

AREA 42:

Upon the door is inscribed in Orcish which is odd. It states 'Beyond the door the Maker of Death is chained. May he gnaw on his own hate until the sun dies and all things dead'

The door is open with Landor in front.

This room was once a shrine to the dwarven gods. The walls are carved in their images, and a low stone alter stands at the western end of the room. Stone benches once stood in even rows on the floor, but the pews have been smashed and thrown askew and the icons of the gods have beend defaced.

he looked in the room with a sniff. "Someone didn't appreciate the decorations." he said with a orcish smile

As the cleric steps inside....

The group senses an evil presence in this room-a cold whisper of death and dark magic. Then the bones at the alter's foot stir and form into towering skeletons, rising up with bronze maces in their bony grasp. The dead orc warrior looks up at you and grins evilly, green fire burning in its eyes.

Lyrian freezes momentarily at the sight of the undead, but has seen Landor hurt them before.  She plants herself in front of the cleric, rapier angled to intercept any foe that tried to get to him!

09:35, Today: Lyrian Swift rolled 14 using 1d20+10.  Attack with rapier.

Gar was a little intimidated by the huge skeleton orc (not that he would ever show or admit that), so when he swung and hit the armor, he was a little worried.

..but only for a second.

The barbarian waded in and swung his axe again, but missed the skeleton completely

The two large skeletons end up getting destroyed in a wave from the cleric but the wight remains. The creature turns and gets as far as possible-providing the half-orc and tenku a chance to hit him as he tries to get away.
