The mouth of the cave is covered by a camouflage netting, for reasons immediately obvious. The cave is entirely man-made, and is basically the launchpad for a large rocket-plane of some sort.

"Master? Could this constitute an escape plan?"
"By my calculations, if this plane were ever to launch all of the equipment remaining in this location would be severely damaged."

"Well now K9 that depends, do you mean an escape plan for the good guys or for the villains and if the latter, what parts of the plane would need to be removed to ground it effectively?"

Drifter proceeds to search out and disable the plane... with K9 assistants.

Pandora might be a nice place to leave them.  The Na'vi might be fun to visit but Drifter would not want to spoil their success so... guess it will just be a social visit.  Perhaps a trip to Home Tree and a few words with their Shaman.  She always seemed nice

Well that trip to Home Tree was longer than expected and Drifter did not even get any Unobtainium... or did he?  The Navi may have had some for trade.

A few Elf bows or a mystic set of cards perhaps?

with no further contact from Hatter, Drifter starts to search the area for a House that has the sounds of battle and destruction emanating from its depths.

Recalling the map Agent DeLuca presented of the island, Drifter realizes he's just over half a kilometer from the house. This means, of course, that he can use his aero discs to get there in less than thirty seconds.

that is the plan then.  Off to garner some more notoriety and news clips for his scrapbook.
