If you asked Stuntman, in character, he'd shrug, tell you it sounds southern-central Asian, point out it is probably a third world country, advise bringing water purification, and advise against eating any strange meats. He'd also say it is apparently the place this Doctor Raymond Long fellow is going, a man who had a hand in making very bad infiltration robots who did bad things.

If you are picking up what I am putting down, Stuntman doesn't pay attention to things very well unless they are in his wheelhouse. It's not so much he can't, as his profile demonstrates, so much that he's got a laser focus and just wants to do stuff already. He's impatient, and still is convinced Raymond Long is the focus.

If you asked me, here, Chiniyala is a Central American nation, probably a dictatorship, where the current bad guys have set up shop, of which Raymond Long is just an assistant. Many of the events leading to this one precede Stuntman's time with the Crusaders, but the gist of it is that a bad dude is basically making robot doubles to impersonate key individuals in positions of power to subvert the USA and turn it into a puppet government, or at least be a parasitic power bloc. Basically, your classic doppleganger invasion storyline - Red Scare analogies and all that.

I think Muse said she was taking him up on the teleport in character, but that may have been buried.

I am taking my son to the USAF national museum this weekend (7 hour drive), do not expect a post from me until maybe sunday or monday.

Well, never mind we were going to but he is going to do stuff with his friends friday  so we will do it later.

Nope we will do it another time.  He went out with his friends instead as the museum will be there anytime, his friends would only be that night.

I'm kind of hoping that this game will kick off, but unless there is a thread i am not in ... it is very slow.

we could change that a little.  How about Drifter shows you more of the World IC.  Want a Trip to Egypt and the Pyramids or Paris or The Sahara Desert or Stone Henge or Maiden Tor or the Stone Heads on Easter Island or Angkor Wat or even Petra.  Or if otherworldly sites is more your thing! How about Elysium, Pern, Olympus, Arcadia or The Elysian Fields?

I would be up for what ever Drifter,  This is one of those characters that i have made on this site that appeals to me and i have been hanging on hoping that this would go some where.

I had been hoping that this would go story wise, but i am open to a little duo roleplaying.

Well, I wrote assuming Drifter and yourself are in the station. If you aren't, let me know. I'll rewrite my dialogue.

we had not gone anywhere as far as i knew yet, we had just talked about it.

I don't know how experienced at adventuring Jaarenda is, so she may or may not have some experience with people like The Stuntman - rogues that are full of themselves, yet somehow have not died yet, living the type of charmed life afforded only to storybook children and real life fools that survive. If he reminds her of someone, go with that, and if not, oh well. But I'm mostly spitballing.

His skill at deception is "no", so she can identify that first statement as bluster. Especially since, you know... her reaction to him might be completely at odds with everything he just said. His skills after that, though? If anything he is seriously downplaying his abilities. He's just outclassed by Shade in every way on most of the rest, left to his own devices.

Think your typical DnD adventuring groups.

I don't have some of those things planned, i just add what i think would be good for flavor as i go.
