Glad I did mend. Anyhow, this is a phone posting, due to tornado taking some of the local infrastructure down, but I hope for something tomorrow.

Yeah, everyone and everything personally is fine, except for a decorative shutter on the exterior and two of the porch dragons. The area north of me got hit hard, though - tried to volunteer to help, but the roads were closed.

Umm... am I missing something?  I don't see where we are encountering a scorpion, just a flaming, flying man.

The scorpion creature is hiding by the cave entrance. Only those that made the PER roll have spotted him. The main game map now contains a smaller map for combat purposes. Use the rudimentary coordinate system on this map to define where your character is.

Is the scorpion the black dot at [14,18]? Or the letter 'D'?

I haven't put ANY combatants on the map. The "D" indicates the area inside which the cave resides. You can find the Scribe, easily. Where would you take him to be "out of danger"?

Okay, looked at the updated map and figured who DD, DS, K9, Dr are.

Sc could be Scribe or Scorpion.  If Sc is outside of the cave, then it is more likely to be the Scorpion.

PH might be the flying man throwing around fireballs.

Shade is probably with Dr.

No indication on where Stuntman is.
