After insuring Impulse won't hit the ground, Inferno fires another blast at the enemy. This blast is terribly ineffective, the Hornet's defenses proving more than adequate in stopping it. The blast did, however, knock the villain back, but he avoided the walls of the shaft and was therefore uninjured.
Impulse streaks toward Hornet, obviously mad as one, but Hornet fades slightly and when Impulse swings at him her hand goes all the way through.
Hornet fades out through the side of the elevator shaft.

Pantalones Lobos proves he's not as adept a fighter as you might have thought. Specifically, he doesn't handle distance well. Instead of approaching with some control, he rushes forward with wild abandon and throws a forearm into Knockout.

02:26, Today: Knockout rolled 12 (with 3 body) using 3 with the Hero (Champions) system.  Breakfall 13- to Stand up as 0 Phase action using her reserved phase.
after P. Lobos attacked her, she 'counterpunched'

Assuming Knockout is using the same tactic previously used, her phase 3 action will be held till phase 5, so that she can attack simultaneous to P. Lobos action. Hatter has affected P. Lobos, but not as much as he expected to. Until he snaps out of it P. Lobos is -2 physical combat value.
