You know I usually play some sort of engineer, so this time I am going to switch things up and go with the Face character. Sign me up for Ade.

After careful consideration, I will keep Chao as is. :) I think the only thing I would do different is the attribute ratings, but they really fit as is. He’s got a lot of potential so the Medic with a shady past it is. :)

I am the latest to pick up the Cup and bear it toward our combined destiny. ;-)

Our GM informs me that the Hacker, Pilot, and Soldier are still available for play. I would like to get all of your input as to which you think would best fill out our crew and why please.

Alright, we have our 6 players.

Please ensure you have a copy of the rules; link is in the RTJ thread.

Review the 6 pregen characters in the back of the book and pick from the remaining three: Kasey the Soldier, Izzy the Hacker or Nico the Pilot.  Feel free to change names, gender and even try to build your own to fulfill the selected role.

I'll start putting the initial thread together.

Since i haven't read anything of the book yet, i'm willing to pick from the leftovers. Do tell me what's left after everyone picked their roll.

EDIT: I went for Hacker since I don't like waiting :P. Do tell me if someone wants it, i'm willing to change it for something else.

Well unfortunately Cupbearer 4 decided the system didn't fit their playstyle and has bowed out.  Am reaching out to the next applicant in line to see if they are still interested.

Has everyone downloaded a copy of the rules?

I have the QSR from kickstarting it. I'll play the soldier. Though it was a hard call between her and the pilot.

We have a new Cupbearer 4; the previous player found the game mechanics not to their liking and bowed out.

I know we have a couple last character choices to make; take your time, chat, coordinate, it's all good.

Meantime I've posted the opening scene.  Have a look and decide how you want to tackle this little, minor, what-could-go-wrong job.

Is the new #4 going to stick with the Hacker, or go Pilot?

P.S.  Also lets hope for a better outcome than the main plot 'Authorized Kidnapping' event of the setting.

I hope all of us have at least different names than the book, and a few different stats.  Then I will go down the hacker road myself.

Speaking of which do we have anything like a character sheet format for RPOL yet?

I think I've opened the character sheets for everyone.  Let me know if you still can't update them

I don't see one yet, hopefully because it doesn't exist and not an error from the server migration, but in any case I would suggest removing it and making a new one if you can see it on your end.

Now it exists as an empty field I can't edit.  Look for a box down the bottom called user editable, for whatever reason that is not checked by default and should be.

Ah, my apologies.  Think I have it now.

I'd tried to set them as editable before but apparently hadn't created them yet.  It's been a while since I ran a game.

The system is very picky.

I will be somewhat afk this weekend I may be able to fill in a sheet if one shows up but I wont be on my home PC to make a new one, so if you get something that works for you drop it in the field and I will fiddle with it, but otherwise don't expect any meaningful progress until Wednesday at the earliest.

So is there a particular sheet you want us to use? Or do we just put it wherever we want to on the page?

I might have an opportunity to put one together this weekend.  If anyone wants to create one first go for it
