Character Concepts and Creation

Nice, plenary concept. I mostly liked it. Shemitish names, I believe, can be a tad different, unless perhaps he traces his origins back further east to Turan or Iranistan, and maybe his forebears shifted to Akbitana. But seems fine overall.

Between the Scribe talent and Linguistics 3, I figure that ought to cover the one dead language with which her family (and indeed, her countrymen) have the most contact. After all, the reclamation and study of Acheronian artifacts is a national obsession as well as the family business. And then there is the worn leathern scroll case she carries, within which a hoary parchment is kept safe. Mayhap the secret writ thereupon would lay bare the source and nature of the family's success for all these generations. ~_^

I agree that it does work into the Relic Hunter archetype that you have taken up. I'll let it pass then. Let the others finish with their concepts and then we can get into character generation.

I've designed a couple of character sheets for other games, shouldn't be too difficult to throw together one for Conan. If nothing else, I could export the output from the character generator to an image file and just paste an image tag into my profile.

Cassilda is fluent and literate in Nemedian, Acheronian, Corinthian, Kothic, and Ophirean. She is also Cosmopolitan and can communicate fluently with others who share that Talent.

Displays fine to me in both Safari and Firefox. It's just plain text enclosed by <tt></tt> tags to preserve the monowidth formatting (doesn't need those tags in the character sheet, since those default to monowidth). It could be the <small></small> tags that are mucking with what you see, not all browsers render those properly.

Based on the core rules, I've worked up a very, very charismatic man from Ophir named Omilitis. He is really, really good with words--scary-good. I was thinking that he has perhaps fallen in with Cassilda as well thanks to some successful negotiation that Omilitis did on her behalf. It's probably apparent to others that he would value companions who would watch his back, though he is remarkably agile and cagey.

He has not shared his background much with you all, though he has told you entertaining stories about his days traveling throughout Aquilonia, Argos, Shem, and other lands. Curiously, he speaks fluent Nemedian, which he claims he learned from a mentor.

Guys Vardis has Aquilonian and Kothic as languages, as well as the Cosmopolitan talent. I can switch out Kothic for something else more similar to what others have, could you all list your languages?

I know Cassilda has Kothic also (as well as Cosmopolitan), but what about the rest?
