RTJ **Read Second**

1. Read the Rules and Expectations. I'd like there to be total clarity between everyone involved. Learn Wheaton's Law for it is the Law of the Land.

2. Read the sticky posts. Even if you know the rebooted series backwards and forwards there may yet be information there that will benefit you. They are there for players who know the series as well as those who do not. If you fall into the latter category you will know enough to play the game, follow what is happening, and have a good time. It may seem like a lot but it's not really as daunting as it looks.

Military Details

Branch of Service (Marines or Navy):

Military Occupational Specialty (See the thread for list):

Rank: Note that the position of CO is currently an NPC position. This will likely change as players learn the game. I will allow ranks as high as Captain but there's a variable number per service branch so the number of Captains allowed may be limited. There are a lot of Lieutenants given that's the most common junior officer rank. Ship's XO (Colonel) is a special case and will be allowed to be a PC though I would prefer a player with a good knowledge of the source material who doesn't mind not being out in a Viper or Raptor or getting involved in combat. Unlike Star Trek the entire Command staff (or any of them) tend not to go on away missions. If all I get are Officer applications I will limit them until some enlisted decide to...enlist.

Time in Service (How long have you been in the Colonial Military?):

Decorations: Note that the Colonies have been at peace for 40 years so wartime decorations will only be found on older characters who were serving during the Cylon War so the number of PCs with such decorations will likely be rather limited.

History and Background

I'd like two good paragraphs here. If your familiarity with the setting is limited to the point you can't then let me know and I'll be happy to assist. This, along with personality, helps bring your character alive. Where are they from? Do they have siblings? Are their parents alive? Why did they join the Colonial Military? Did their family approve? Are they career military? Paint a picture for me.
