Ariadne took a past bite of her vaguely bacon piece of bacon,  washing it down with her unknown juice,  and nodded,  standing up

Smiling Jon finishes his breakfast. "Keep in mind that the Rangers or Arden patrol the boarder both to/from Amber but to the shadows that Arden touches. So be sure you are ready."  He stands "By your leave, may I join you two on your adventure?"

"That is why I am in riding gear. You have our permission to join us, Prince Jon."

Jade smiled with a sweep of her arm.

She then looked at Random, "Now your Majesty no cheating and telling Prince Julian we are searching for him."

She will head out with the others on the hunt.

Ariadne smirked, dead sure Random would snitch them out the second they left, but she said nothing to contradict Jade.
Once they were outside, she looked at her beautiful cousin
"I left my mother's axe in my room, butb I'm assuming i won't need it today.  I mean, i already have a small sword, two throwing axes, and two daggers, so i feel a bit 'overdressed' as it is.   Earth, while having its dangers, is more strict about weapons, so I'm not really used to walking around armed, I'll admit.  I'm still getting used to wandering around with knives and things hanging off my belt and in my boots and everything else."

"It is a good look on you. Also locals will know, you don't mess around with a daughter of Deirdre." Jade gave a bright smile and collected her parasol.

Ari chuckled
"Well, that's definitely a look i perfected on Earth, i suppose "

Heads to check the stables first to see if Morgenstern is there.

Jon nods to King Ransom and heads after his cousins.  Jon has his dagger, but otherwise no weapons and his bracers are his only defense. "Well, Ari, you are the most armed of the three of us.  Which makes you our mobile armory" he teases.  Then looks to Jade, "Though if we are going to need to track down Uncle Julian, we may well want to wear something more appropriate than court clothes.  Ari is better dressed that either of us at the moment. Especially if he isn't in Amber"

Jade looks down at her riding clothes and gave Jon a quirky look.
"Alright it might be a little flashy, but it's not quite court garb. What would you suggest ? I wanted to be ready to ride without a side saddle."

She then lifted her parasol, "I am not entirely unarmed." She smiled with a mischievous look.

Jon smiles "True, your riding outfit is not court garb, unlike mine current outfit." he gives her an appraising once over. "You should be fine, though not really armored." pauses "I will meet you at the Stables, allow me to change into my armor."

"I have my gold scale armor packed, do you think I should change into it ?"
She wondered how dangerous the forests must be.

"It would only take me a short time to change, if you think I should be armored."

Jon shakes his head "No, I don't think you need your Scale Armor for this excursion. But we should look at getting you a set of light armor in the near future."

"Alright then we will meet you at the Stables and if you see Prince Julian stop him and let him know we are all prepared to take him up on his offer of training."

She looked to Ariadne prepared to head to the stables.

Ariadne nodded, smiling wryly
"I'll admit that I didn't think about armor.  That's definitely something i don't wear on Earth.  I consider this my 'medieval workout' outfit.   Heck, i almost wore sweatpants, but I thought it would make me look weird around here"

"Pants that are made for sweating ? Doesn't sound like a person of the dry air would want to wear." She walked along with Ariadne.

Ari chuckled
'It's the other way around,  actually.   Pants you wear when you're planning to sweat"

"You have specific pants for that ? Do women wear pants ? I guess they must."
More confused, "I have to learn of Earth fashion, I suppose."

Ariadne nodded,  smiling ruefully
"My area of Earth is more progressive,  and more civilized,  so there's more attention to fashion.   So there are many kinds of pants and dresses to wear, for many occasions "

"I bet there is swimming wear then. I look forward to seeing that."

Makes her way down to the stables asking the stable boy if Morgenstern is still there.

Ariadne chuckled and nodded ruefully
"That's very true.  In fact,  we have swimwear that you're not technically supposed to wear while swimming "

"I see, so Earthlings are a confusing conundrum I may never get the grasp of." Shakes her head slowly.

Ariadne laughed
"Complicated,  for sure, but many of us have relatively calm lives, which leads to more leisure time and creativity in other ways"

"Rebma is usually calm and peaceful. Things are reflected in the Queen's moods. Though we don't wear much clothing at all in Rebma. Jewelry though is fairly common as a means of self expression."

Jade's head swayed slightly as if listening to some internal music.

"I do love clothing though ever since I came to the shores and had a chance to wear some. There are so many and of such variety. Amber's city has many affluent since so much trade comes through. Earth sounds like it will be wonderful."

Ari's brow lifted playfully,  but subtly, as the mention of scantily clad Rebmans.
In a mostly monotone and deadpan voice she responded "Well.... I'll have to visit Rebma soon, then, i suppose "

"Whenever you want, as soon as our training is done. It really is beautiful."
