The moon peaked over the distant mountains, prompting Tavi's nightly transformation just as Erikur arrived with information from the village.

-------------

Jesse's trip from the fort had been uneventful and pleasant enough and she soon found herself nearing a campsite under a tree on a hill overlooking the nearby village. Upon approaching, she saw a massive cat chained to a tree.

Jessie immediately became aware and ready for battle. Chained or not, she felt threatened and just got her unlife. She looked around suspiciously and drew her scimitar. She observed the massive cat for its fur patterns, color, and whether or mot it has a mane.

OOC: can i tell what kind of cat it is?

Tavi appeared to be supremely unhappy that the only things out there that he would be able to reach out to would be things that would be very very bad to contact. Add in the fact that he just grew fur and he was already having a bad night. Though with the new fur it did match up with the type of armor he had and would make him look rather dashing if the army got itchy.

Annddd now there was a strange woman who seemed to have a plan on using a weapon on him. He sighed and then smiled, a rather terrifying gesture with a maw of an old school common tiger. "Shackles, fetters, and anchored. That blade still won't do much to me. And I have the key." He gestured to his campfire and the small cauldron of tea. "Sit, drink, and relax. I have to wait until the military passes before I decide what to do next."

"Orrrr, would your rather we throw down? I dislike unearned bloodshed."

Jessie raised her left eyebrow. "Well, you speak....That makes sense. I wake up, I meet a person named Morien in blue ice armor, it's the year 300 IC, and there is a talking tiger asking me to sit with them. That makes sense. I want nothing more than to sit next to a chained up tiger in the middle of nowhere. That's every girl's dream. Like a princess in the desert lands." Jessie does not lower her weapon or guard and keeps her distance from the talking tiger continuing towards the destination instructed by Morien.

OOC: Is Erikur next to you or is that scene done? I guess Princess Jasmine had a tiger ans my character's name starts with a J. Ha.

"There are very few things in this world that I can't talk to." Tavi chuckled, "Lycanthrope, not a tiger. And I wouldn't go too far. There is an army of paladins over there. You know, the kind of people who swing swords at undead and hit like a mass of bricks." He made a gesture in the direction of the army.

"So you really have two options. Loiter with the floofy WereFaunis and then continue on once the army is done. Orrr, head that way and get close to them, get detected as an undead, and then follows a light show as they bright flash you into numbness."

"The way I see it there is only one good option. It is Apple tea. Tell me a good story and I may even fix your sword for you."

OOC: Erikur is here, though he's been watching up until this point.

The barbarian that had come from the town watches the scene with a slightly amused smile but doesn't speak, at least not yet. His weapon isn't drawn, but the clasp is undone, letting him draw it at a moment's notice.

In reply to Tavi (msg # 6):

Jessie considered the possibilities. This lycsn could be lying and she saw a second person. Monk or not how could she just cozy up to two strangers this way?

"My master bid me to meet a woman like me. I don't see her here so this must not be the village I'm to meet her in. Nor was I given any information about you two." she studies them before making decision.

Tavi hasn't lied yet. And he's supremely bored.

Tavi shrugged. "Tessa and Wisla. Erin is around someplace but she got in a mood about doing what one is told to do so I assume she is pouting in the woods. Floki is a northman who is a bit off but he has a good heart. And then there is Monk Man, who is fast like lighting and strikes like the badger."

"I'm Tavi, the most cursed man in the world. But also the only one who can use word magic."

"Morien, the man you met, is effectively a necro lord trying to make up for a prior failure, you are in a world fighting back a chaos corruption. Annndddd all the divine realms have been severed to the point even using the language of creation you can't get through to them."

"At least pour me a cup. I don't care to shed the chains just to get teal. If I had more time to have planned I would have extended the anchor."

Erikur, sensing that the conversation was coming to a close. "The General bade me to come and let you know that she got your message, and then to take my leave."

Jessie doesn't lower her guard, but she puts her sword away. "Very well...It seems I'm still too new to the world." With an ever watchful eye, she nears the lycan and pours the tea for them both. She was quite excited deep in her unbeating heart to taste the tea. Can she even drink tea? She was definitely going to find out.

She served the provider first as common courtesy would dictate and then served a cup for herself. She stood ten feet across from Tavi, facing him. "Thank you for the tea. I have two questions. What do you mean about word magic and cursed? Why are you chained up? Lycans I met hundreds of years ago had no problem controlling themselves."
