I also really dig Gumshoe games.
I use a random adventure generator to give me bare bone structure points, then flesh an idea over them. This one had non-combat problems for complications and obstacles. Which really did seem like a good idea after the Iron Man.
I can say that there's no chokepoint, singular resolution. I can say that there's multiple clues. I can say that you have hit clues/information and I am not hiding anything or waiting for the right question or whatever. But, as it points out in the article I know the whole story so what is obvious to me, might not be to you. No clues have been missed and nothing is way off the rails. If that's helpful to know?
It is supposed to feel like a grind down. So...yay... I succeeded there... Woooooo.
Especially with PbP games, I'm really okay with OOC discussion to make sure all the players are on the same page. I mean the characters are right there and would have all the info easier than players might remember.
