For those of you who are not in the other game I'm in, I apologize for the long absence (again), but I've been dealing with a case of the sads from the whole quarantine business, and while I've had much more time to post these last few months, I haven't really had the will to do so. Depression kicking back up again after having mostly dealt with it before. So this is me saying that I am not dead, and I have not abandoned this game or the quest to fend off the evil captain (and I still really like the mental image I have of the crew kicking him out the open boarding ramp), I'm just real quiet. Definitely gonna start posting again when I can, though even that may be once a month or whatever I can muster.

I can get that. Thanks for checking in and letting us know. Do what you feel like when you feel like it, no point playing if you're not having fun! I'll be around whenever you're ready to go.

I've left you guys hanging since January?! I am so heckin' sorry, everybody. o.o

Hopefully pushing back against the bad feels and doing the thing will help the bad feels go away so doing the thing will be easier.

23:24, Today: Zindra rolled 5 successes, 2 threats using the Star Wars Edge of the Empire with a dice pool of 2A 1P 1D 1B.  Shot.

Unfortunately for me, Zindra's not actually trying to hit the Captain, she's trying to force him back, but if accurate enough I might try to shoot his gun.

Do we have any kind of initiative order?

We should, but we do not. I do wanna give Bril a chance to do a thing, then it'll be Zindra and Iaarkahr in whatever order gets posted in. Then Cap'n Cronch.

Ok, I'll figure out a thing to do since we're waiting on me.

I also would've absolutely allowed for a clever use of Piloting, but those were basically two of the three options I was thinking of. The third was just pushing him. :P

This is gonna be a Ranged (Light) roll with 1C (range upgraded by Adversary, which I totally forgot earlier) and 1S (from his prior advantage).

I thought about it but the way I've been rolling I'm worries I'm more likely to hurt Kahr and Zindra more than Jalmac.

Huzzah! It only took us two and a half years, but we made it through the first adventure! I'm glad this group has the patience to handle all that. I dunno many players who'd stick around this whole time. Thank you, everybody. Now, onto the next chapter of the story!

Which I don't have prepared just yet. Wasn't really expecting to get this far, PbP being what it is. But I've created an intermission thread so post-episode posts can get the group together and comfortable, and I'll let you know what mysterious cargo Captain Jalmac was transporting once I can get my information together.

Spent my 15 xp on some pretty nice talents.  I now have 20 wounds, btw.

First chance we get I need some armor.

I'd be willing to go in on that if you need. I'm planning on hiding behind you plenty.

I've gotta remind myself on spending XP with this system before I can beef Bril up.

Yep! And also the ship itself has a handy dandy intercom system, so you can all be in communication however you like. It might become an issue later on, but I'll call it out if somebody's out of contact with the others.

Go ahead and put your roll into the IC thread, even if it's just an OOC line. I like keeping the game stuff all together and in order, so I don't lose anything.

Oh, uh. For clarity, my intention was that he wrote you off as part of the crew and changed it so only he and the droids counted, for the purposes of Imperial paperwork. He basically changed the name on the mailbox without changing the locks first. So the droids don't recognize you as crew because they simply have no idea who you are.

But I kinda like yours better, honestly.
