Posts with statements of intent must be made within 24 hours after the last update by the GM, or the character is passive/defensive.
You can make complex statements of intent so that you don't risk passivity. An example:

I will continue to fight the wolf with my sword, parry with my shield. If the wolf is incapacitated I will cast heal-1 on myself if I am injured, then Demoralize on the closest enemy and then engage that enemy (or the next closest enemy if the demoralized is fleeing).
If a player has made statements of intent but not rolled all necessary rolls on the Dice Roller, the GM will roll on behalf of the player.
