I hope you are enjoying the game. I am, even though I feel like we're still in a sort of introductory phase. Some of you aren't posting very often, but I still hope you will activate. Please let me know in a PM if there's anything on your mind regarding this game.

The day of the Tusk rider attack is approaching. It seems likely there will be combat when they attack (or at a later date - Dragon Pass is a fairly violent place after all). I would like to remind you all of the dangers your characters will be exposed to. Please make sure you use all your magical abilities to boost and protect you.

Take a look at your available spells and use them. Ask me and your fellow players for advice.

It may be worth briefly explaining the spell-casting rules and procedures, how to use and regain POW, etc.  It seems like several people might not have been familiar with RuneQuest, or like me with the latest version.

I only have Mobility as a boosting spell... or indeed any spell useful in combat.
If anyone could spare additional spells... my worst problem is my encumbrance, I'm 2 points over allowance which gives me a penalty of 10% to all my combat skills

You might be willing to let some of your weapons in other buildings or places, and run to them when needed. it adds tactical and realism, because it happened all the time during antiquities times

I only have a sword, a (medium) shield and a dagger.

That said, both Strength and Vigor would remove my ENC-penalties (and thus would be a lot more useful than any Bladesharp or similar).
Does anyone have these ?
I really need to learn either of those asap !

It's far easier and quicker to hand over those 100L and learn Strength than spend a very long time (!) to possibly (!) gain a STR increase... one has to be realistic about these things :P

@Meowmast, your warding covers 100 square metres and the countermagic is against spells cast in over the barrier, so spells cast within the area are not affected
