The rulebook doesn't specify that the ritual leader must be a Rune Priest, Rune Lord, or whatever. It does seem to imply that, though, since all of the examples are Rune levels of some kind.

The Worship ritual has to occur in a holy place such as a temple for it to count, as well. I think holy day rituals can restore Rune Points anywhere; I'm not sure about that. But they definitely don't give the ritual leader a POW XP check unless they're in a holy place.

There should be the seasonal Orlanth holy day - Mr GM, what is your call? Ulina would certainly want to lead a worship service for our group or local people. Also, can more than one person lead a ritual?

The POW gain rolls you are referring to are those resulting from being successful on the POW resistance roll. They are similar to skill experience rolls.

I was talking about the POW increase rolls you sometimes are allowed due to successful worship skill rolls during certain ceremonies.

Also: none of you qualify to lead worship ceremonies in the way meant by those rules. You need to be ”High Priest, Rune
Priest, God-talker, etc”.

Is the Bat on the map the location of the Crimson Bat? I thought King Broyan killed it and sent it back to Hell.

No, Bat is the name of an island in the Upland Marsh.

The Crimson Bat was indeed killed by King Broyan. Nevertheless there are rumours that it’s on its way.

Yes, Sartar  is to the south (and east). I’ll post an overview map asap.

Oh, whew. I really dislike the Crimson Bat as the game presents it. Unkillable super enemies are not, in fact, even slightly fun.

Speaking of which, Erina and her dad were hanging around and fighting alongside King Broyan a lot. Can they be part of the Bat-Death Squad? The club T-shits are really cool. =P
