I love Pendragon. I inherited a game someone else was GMing and then disappeared. Things were going pretty well but we ended up with only two characters (there were four originally including me). So I recruited 5-6 others but over 6 months they all dropped with little to no warning. Kinda killed the game as I created a bunch of plots and such for all of these players and then ended up with my original two players off in Ireland for no really good reason relating to their characters. So I started up an Amber game with 13 players and almost 3000 posts in the last month. :)

Re: OOC discussions
Based on The Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny. A five book series, that was followed by a second five-book series. The basics of the setting is that there is a place called Amber that is the architype of the multiverse and everything else is just reflections or 'shadows' of Amber. The game itself is diceless and relies primarily on story-telling.

I have less time for this (gaming) now. Hopefully I will get more time in a few weeks.

Unfortunately I didn't, on the contrary. I'm sorry, I was really looking forward to the restart.
I'm officially pausing this game until further notice.

Anyone want to do a soloquest? I was thinking of running a soloquest in RQG of the scorpion hall. With only 1 player it should be fast-moving.

What's a soloquest? What's scorpion hall? Can we keep going after the first adventure? I have so many questions and yet I'd probably like to play anyway!

In reply to Erina (msg # 415):
Runequest 2 had a play by yourself adventure called Scorpion Hall. It can also be played with a gm and one player. I would convert the monsters into RQG and we can go as fast as we like. Basically we could do several posts in a day. Since we would not have to wait for everyone to react.

I don't know anything about Scorpion Hall, but I do like being a solo player. So sure, that could be fun.

Just popping in to say 'Hi!' Hoping that all is well and noting wistfully that with the COVID nightmare lifting somewhat it is the perfect time for Praxian adventures!

Hi :) Hope you're all doing well.
I have to say I'm a bit tempted to revive this game. But I'm afraid I'll end up finding I didn't really have the time for it.
Maybe with a smaller cast and slower pace.

Otherwise, I'll NPC some characters for awhile. One of the worst things with keeping the game going was the amount of time I had to spend generating characters that then went afk.

Keeping the party at ~5 should be fine, I would think.
