Brandaelfr quickly shrugs off his pack and digs out some rope. He hands it off to Drakul and says, "I think it is a sign we are going in the right direction. Hopefully this rope is enough to at least get you most of the way down."

He looks at the steep sides of the well and comments, "I am leery about climbing down the well in armor. Anyone have an alternative?"

If the crows should start to descend, Brandaelfr will try to use Turning on them.
Success by 2 on Stealth.
It is 10 yards of rope that holds 300 lbs. As such it is probably good for one person at a time.

"Ah cannae be lending rope, but me prayers can get us safely down." He began casting on whoever needed it.

"Guess that means me first," said Drakul, taking the rope in hand, tying it around the frame of the well and beginning his descent.

He landed quietly and took a look around, drawing his weapons.

Climbing: Success by 2.
Stealth: Success by 7.

"Ladies second I suppose", Fergurth smiles as she grabs the rope and descends down after Drakul.

Mog sees the others going down the well as he is still stacking furniture. "'ey wait for me" he says running over to grab the rope and follow them down

The adventurers are about to all begin their descent into the well by rope or by magic as the night sky becomes completely black with the swarming crows. Quietly they pull themselves into a well lit cavern. There are torches lining the walls of the room and a brazier in the middle. The room appears to be a natural cave with a floor of smooth stone.

As soon as the group quietly makes their way into the mouth of the cave a humanoid being made of fire swirls out of the brazier and from one of the torches a greenish mist seeps into a semi solid blob. Neither creature notices the group yet but the room is small and well lit; the element of surprise will only last a moment.

Grinning, Dagrak stepped forward. He'd never seen one of these before, but it looked like fire, and he could create water. A ball of water formed above the head of the elemental, before crashing down on it.

The Half-Ogre ducked into the shadows and appeared behind the brazier, slashing into the flaming creature repeatedly.

Stealth: Success by 8 to pop up behind him,
by 3 if we aren’t considered ambushing.
Telegraphic Rapid Strike: Success, Crit, Success.
Crit Table: Normal Damage.
Damage: 9, 12, and 8 cutting.

Brandaelfr steps briskly into the chamber while brandishing his halberd. He shouts at the humanoid made of fire, "What manner of evil are you, and what do you know about the undead hordes up above?!"

Move to be at Reach 2 of the fire elemental.

As soon as Fergurth sees the monsters come to life, she steps toward the fiery foe and blends into the shadows below the torches. Stringing an arrow, she sends it soaring straight at his right eye. “Can’t hit me if he can’t see”, she thinks to herself.

Mog sees the creatures, he assumes they are in league with whoever created the zombies and charges the moving fire

Drakul slashes the elemental with his knives. Defend twice or take 5 crushing & 5 burning and 5 crushing & 9 burning

Dagrak creates water, which falls on the creature and immediately boils into steam.

Brandaelfr moves and shouts.

After taking an arrow and several knife wounds the Flame Lord turns all the way around and punches Drakul twice. The Toxifier flees into the farthest side of the room from the holy items.

The Flame Lord is in the same spot, but it turned around. The Toxifier has fled.

Drakul took a step back, deflecting each blow with a knife, and cutting into the Flame Lord's arms. He continued his attack, slashing back and forth at the creature's midsection.

"Quite durable," he mused.

Parry: 2 successes.
Attack on Parry: 2 successes.
Damage: 11 and 13 cutting, one to each arm.

Rapid Strike: 2 successes.
Damage: 14 and 10 cutting.

"Not a talkative enemy? No matter! I will let my weapon become the dialogue." Brandaelfr mutters before striking twice.

Both successes. Flame Lord needs to defend twice at +2 (if it can even see the attacks to defend), or take 11(2) cut and 16(2) cut.

"Did ya like yer bath laddie?" The dwarf clearly did not realize that the water had no effect. However he was low on FP, and so he headed for the flaming foe. He took a huge swing at the foe, and predictably missed. He really was better with his spells.

Angry at himself for missing such a simple target, Mog swings once more, this time his axe heading straight for the flaming body.

“Throw some spicy beer at him, maybe that’ll do the trick”, she says laughing to Drakul. Then shoots another arrow at the angry fireplace.

Drakul parries then attacks again.

The adventurers hack the Flame Lord with a vengence; it simply cannot withstand the fury of their onslaught and collapses to the ground. A few more well placed chops and the thing extinguishes into a burst of smoke. The Toxifier continues to shift back and forth staying as far away as possible from Dagrak and Brandaelfr; if provided a way out it will flee up the well.

A set of locked, metal-bound doors bar the groups progress any further into the dungeon.

The Flame Lord fell unconscious so I assumed its execution. The Toxifier cowers in the corner.

Flame Lord HP: -107/13  Unconscious

Drakul hovers over the fallen flame lord for a moment.

"Fascinating," he said, before mercilessly carving what was left of the molten creature into nothingness.

He looked at his smoldering knives and grinned sadistically before blowing on them like a smoking musket.

Execution.

"Look at that cowardly thing over there. Shall we go an put et out of et's misery?

Brandaelfr looks at the toxifier and says, "If it is evil then it should perish. Let us test and see if this thing is evil."

With a slow, casual motion Brandaelfr concentrates and brings his halberd closer to the toxifier.

Turning success by 8 with Rule of 16. He wants to see if it shrinks back from his weapon, or if it is just cowardly in general.

"Oh feck it. Ye might want ta plug yer ears. This is the spell that took me hearing." A shimmering ball of condensed air grew in his hands as he prayed. A second later he released the ball at the ground by the creatures feet.

Success on both rolls, Used the wrong thread tho, Faelar is casting spells again. 6 damage crushing -1FP Everyone that plugged their ears needs to make a HT+2 roll to not be stunned. Success on that as well for grak

"Did you say lug my fears? What does that even mean?" Brandaelfr asks in a confused tone.

At the same time, the Eldhud takes some obvious swings at the cringing demon.

For the two turns it takes Dagrak to cast and throw the spell, Brandaelfr does Telegraphic Rapid Strikes. All 4 are successes. I rolled damage, but the toxifier is diffuse so it is probably just the 2 injury per strike.

Drakul swiftly beheads the fire demon which pops into ash. The adventurers quickly turn their murderous skills onto the helpless demon and under their relentless attacks it disappates into nothing in mere seconds.

You're in a secure locked room, so while time is of the essence this is a safe place to rest up for a few minutes.

"Well that was fun, but before we head on further, Ah best be setting for ah bit. Even though me spells air cast with the power o' tha Laird O' Thoondar himself, it does take a bit out o me." The dwarf plops down "Et will just be ah minute."

Gonna need 55min to get full FP. I don't quite have the spell at skill 20 yet. Letting all my spells lapse during the break.
