Rules and whatnot

Posting Guidelines
For your character's dialog, please pick a color unique to them for the text. This will help differentiate each character at a glance.
RED will be reserved for GM comments, mainly GM intrusions.
ORANGE will be reserved for GM and character OOC comments.

Rolling
Copy rolls from the dice roller and paste them into the post as an OOC in orange. Include purpose for roll and step modifiers in the reason for roll field.
If you want to try something, go ahead and make a roll rather than waiting for me to solicit it. I'll hand wave it if it's not needed.
For combat, any character groups attacking before enemies can go in any order, but groups attacking after enemies must wait for the enemies to attack, then can respond in any order before the next round.
When an enemy has attacked your PC, go ahead and roll your defense then roll your attack or action in the same post.
Please indicate any assets, Effort applied, and potential damage with your attack roll.
Please update your character details to reflect your costs and damage, shins spent, XP earned, and items found. As a GM, I'm managing much too much other info to be able to keep track of this for you.

Game pace
Feel free to have as much conversation and dialog between characters as you'd like. It brings them more to life and fleshes them out. However, I may move the action forward if the game stalls, though you're welcome to continue the conversation while carrying out your actions.
I will be doing what I can to keep things moving, though there may be an occasion when I might miss more than a couple of days. In the event I don't think I'll be able to post I'll give you notice beforehand.
If you know you won't be able to post for an extended period, let us know. Let me know whether or not you'd like me to NPC your character in your absence. I tend to prefer not to unless you really need me to for some reason or if it is critical to keep the narrative moving forward. On an occasion I might NPC a simple line or action if the story momentum needs it but again, I do my best to minimize that.

Above all else, have a blast, don't be afraid to throw some humor into the game, and toss away any limits on your imagination!
