Apologies for my recent silence. I'm out of country on a small holiday before going for surgery Wed which will have me in hospital for five days. I shall try and post as much as I can between now and then.

I'm preparing to go into hospital now. Two hours until I leave for admission then surgery at 2pm so I'll post when I can over the next few days. Assuming no complications I'll be discharged in five days. Some of those days I'll be on Morphine so I probably won't post then though, it could be amusing.

Hey guys, I'm so excited to have found a Blue Rose game to jump into! I see we've already got each of the three major character types covered (and a griffon mount? Wow!), So that opens things up a fair amount. Is there anything we're feeling is  missing from the group? I know it's early on, but if there's a big, obvious hole, I'd be happy to step in and help out. I'm also seeing a whole Pavin Weald theme here, you guys want another from the region to keep that going, or would an outsider to mix things up be more interesting?

Basically, I'm walking into this with options wide open and no particular plans, so let me know if you have any ideas. :)

Well one thing I've noticed just in this combat is none of us seems to have ranged weapons and Oberon is getting hit by arrows a lot. Up to you but a warrior or expert that specialises in some sort of range attack might be good

And that's an interesting idea. A mounted archer concept could be really cool. There's the whole not-Mongolia out West to draw from, too. I'll totally look into making a Rezean badass.

I'm out of hospital and resting in somewhat more comfort but will still be sporadic for awhile until I can increase my strength and activity level. Thank you all for the well wishes.

Yeah waiting for someone to hit the Mage in the tree as Oberon doesn't have a range attack.....unless he just goes up and rips the tree out of the ground :)

The dice roller should be set up for 3d6 + any bonus for skills once you've rolled copy the line from above the dice roller it will have something like 14 {{4} 5,5} the first number is the dragon dice the other two are the ones you look at for doubles in this case you have double 5 which means you get to spend 4 (the dragon dice score) stunt points on stunts to add to your action :)

And to switch to rolling damage, you just change the System to blank and put in however many d6s you need.

It's not a big deal. With American Thanksgiving imminent, I know my availability will be spotty all week. I think we're all hoping Shandril's player will get over zir surgery quickly, but I feel like we probably need to get the combat moving.
