Sorry, guys, I should have said something earlier. Landlord wants to sell the house, so we've moving soon. Having to scramble to find a suitable place in a hurry. Kind of a headache and stealing a lot of free time. I'm still here, but not able to post as much.

I've only ever had a pdf copy of the rules and i hate reading pdfs

Today I was between meetings and had some time to kill and it was nice out so I walked to my next meeting.

On the way I passed a bargain book shop and there in the window was a copy of blue rose.

I went in and grabbed it. The shop owner laughed when I got to the counter. His wife had ordered it for herself through the shop because she though it was a romantic fantasy novel not so kind of game book so he put it in the window to try and sell it.

Bargain of the year so far only cost me £19.99 yes!!!!

Nice. I've been meaning to get a physical copy sooner or later. But since this is the first time I've managed to get in an actual game of Blue Rose, it felt a little excessive.

That is nice! I enjoy physical copies of books, but I use almost exclusively PDFs nowadays. They're so much easier to carry around and I do so much of my writing on the go that it just doesn't make sense to use physical copies of books.
Now if only they could make it so the PDFs smelled like the physical books. lol :)

I have to admit it's the smell and feel of a real book that makes me happy it's comforting.

My games room smells of books, libraries smell of books, book shops smell of books.....all the places I'm most happy in where I can loose myself for hours lol

My kindle just smells of plastic :(

I agree, Oberon. I have a Kindle as it's easier for me to take on the road when I have to go to other hospitals but nothing beats a real book.

By the way the rule book is beautiful but bloody heavy to hold for a long time it's a thick beast :)

They accepted the offer! Initial inspection showed a few things that need work, but that's expected. As long as nothing really screwy comes up, we're looking to take possession of the house on the 7th of next month. :)

Frantically running through the home-buying and preparing to move procedures. With luck, we'll be closing on Friday, then need to be cleared out of the current place by the 15th. So we're trying to get the whole house packed now so when we get the green light, we can get everything done over the weekend, if possible.
