Godbound!! - Player Expectations

Rule 1) Please, don't be a jerk.

Rule 2) Godbound is a game where I expect a certain amount of friction between the characters, particularly as they develop their religious ethos. However, I expect the characters to be able to function together, at least for the important stuff.

Rule 3) IRL always wins, but please post regularly and try to be proactive.
If you can't post for a while, please tell me (in advance if possible).
If you don't think you'll be able to post regularly, you might not be the best fit for this game. Godbound is a game that thrives off the interaction. If you are repeatedly holding up the game, I'll send you a PM.

If it happens repeatedly, I'll get annoyed, and we'll have to discuss your continued involvement in the group.

In return, I'll try and keep the game moving ahead. Obviously, this doesn't apply if you tell me in advance you can't make it for a while.

Rule 4) I retain sole-ownership of the game, and reserve the right to kick out any player for any reason I see fit. The game should be a co-operative fiction between the players, but if the ST isn't happy, ain't nobody gunna be happy.

That said, I've only ever booted players for inactivity so far.

Good general ideas..

Be proactive. Do things. Want things. I will probably present ways for you to get them. Godbound works best this way rather than as an "Al aboard the plot train" situation.

One new request: if you have long range communication powers and want to contact players in another scene, please use PM's or a side thread or even the OOC thread.

If you want to contact other players in a specific scene for a reason, please ask me first.

It is just simpler and less disruptive, and we can assume you called them after the scene ended. It really does make sense since the scenes take days/weeks to run but only usually last a few minutes/hours that they would not happen during this time.
