System Introduction
System Introduction

This system revolves around Energy.

Energy is drained in Tasks and Abilities. Tasks and Abilities are rated with difficulty with some tasks having been made easier or harder with Abilities and can be accomplished by multiple people; sometimes with the same effect.

Every post has a Game Time, Hour:Minute:Seconds in military time/a 24 hour clock, with each post constituting a timing deemed appropriate for the situation, or by the success of a task. Posts can be at different times to display times of reaction, a mechanic that can be useful in situations of multiple events.

Posts can have multiple actions at multiple times and can express different time lines yet only in the same 24 hours. Something that is up to the player, just don't get carried away.

One turn can have a maximum of 5 minutes.

Abilities and Tasks


All tasks can be avoided by just declining or going with a less difficult task instead.

Abilities and Tasks are each assigned a difficulty from 1 to 10, an amount to match or exceed in a roll of a d10 plus the modifier of Con/Str to succeed and a multiplier for energy consumption.

A roll less than the difficulty constitutes a fail, creating a greater loss of energy afterward depending on the Wis/Luk of the character.

Long tasks like walking long distances and repairs can take a long time, taking multiple turns. Characters can talk and interact in a limited amount in the meantime, so a long heart to heart chat moving from place to place. In tasks like walks, secondary tasks can be presented.

The occasional task can exceed difficulty 10, constituting an improbable task. Abilities can be used to lower the difficulty as well as the use of multiple people. To take on an improbable task alone constitutes a second saving roll but a fail will consume all Energy and cause the character to pass out after.

Pressure System
Pressure

Pressure is pushing to your limit. For double the EngP cost you can go up to the next rank of Spe or Intensity(ITen), including a secret rank 4, best in desperate situations it can be wasteful and even dangerous when used spontaneously as it can easily eat up energy that might be more important later.

General Info
Stats are assigned with a rating of 1-3 from a pool of 22 ratings. Different races have different ratings depending on certain conditions so choose wisely which one you select for which ability. This might not seem like much but when you add in the Dif of different abilities and tasks then it can be a little hectic to manage.
