It going to be pretty cool, ... my issue was how to get the telepaths into this, ....

Yes it's a very scary thought indeed.  But we survived the Drafa plague that all but destroyed the Markab, the Chosen People will survive this too :-).

I have the other players in IC - they are getting closer to the actual adventure and the intro for you both will be very soon.

Until 3rd level for practical reasons I can't hide her much longer a P10 stands out in the Mindscape if around others so talented. B5 is good for that. But she's publically working for a living but she's not going to be a 'covert' agent.

Some of that will depend on what you see as the distinction between a commercial telepath and a freelancer.  If it is just a question of who gets the money then Julie is not tied to any larger corporate entity, if it is a question of who you are willing to work for Julie can work for either commercial interests or freelancers.

Most companies due to laws can't likely use Freelancers, Earth might require human Telepaths due to insurance issues have them on the payroll or attached to unions or groups. So might not be law but a clear requirement to get legit work.

I have to agree human companies likely require a telepath be in their employees or in a recognized group with insurance companies involved. Now that Psi Corps is gone.

Most of the old rules still are in effect and there are new rules.
And with companies and Corps - Yes, I would agree with what your posting.

If you guys/gals want to write material up that makes sense to this game i would more then willing to develop it with you.

Fortunately I don't need most companies, just the one.

Yeah, I think Telepaths will nearly always find employment for their unique skills.  I was watching a clip from Season 5 earlier today where Garibaldi was suggesting using Byron's Telepath Followers (remember them) that had taken refuge on board B5 for espionage purposes to augment intelligence reports from the Rangers.  He mentioned that every race, except the Narn and Humans, used telepaths in some military capacity.  It was quite interesting.

Narrator, Crusade was interesting because the First Officer was a Telepath, post Psi Corps, and so had to adhere to the new rules.  It doesn't really detail too much, but definitely gives you tidbits about what those rules are, especially in the episode where "Mr Jones" comes on board to audit his activities.  That episode also shows that, even without the Psi Corps, there is still corruption within the system.

I would be glad to develop some things, I do have lots of ideas.  I'll give it some thought, thank you for the offer :)  I am really looking forward to interacting more with everyone, even if most would prefer to deal with a pak'ma'ra from a distance.

Not true in the Corps book P12 in there can choose psi Cop or a military track in strategy, tactics and intelligence gathering with lower level ones could train in military support. The Drazi have a whole branch of only Telepaths and seem to mirror Psi Corps the best organization ever created for war why not copy the best things. And Narn used Telepaths just not theirs.

Well that's what Garibaldi meant I'm sure.  When he said the Narns weren't using THEIR telepaths, it was because, of course, they don't have any telepaths of their own.  He was referencing each of the major races and how they utilize their OWN telepaths in their respective societies.

The Narns have always been a resourceful people so, having no telepaths of their own, of course they employ others instead, especially I think human ones.  Remember that Ambassador G'kar once tried to recruit Lyta Alexander to donate her DNA to Narn research in an attempt to produce a Narn telepath.  Of course he suggested they do so by having a child, and volunteered his services as the father lol.  Lyta naturally was repulsed and refused.

The pak'ma'ra do not discourage their own native telepaths from doing anything they wish to do within their culture, and this includes the military of course.

I made today Apocalypse day and focus on my wife.
This virus thing has us on edge and so we have been drinking early and focus on each other.

We spent the day dropping food and supplies off to seniors and the vulnerable of our Meeting House, Quakers have a tradition of service.

I spent today focused on my wife as well.  We did donate some clothing while we were out.  And we shopped for a few important supplies before returning home.  Every day is a good one if we are healthy and safe.  May you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy too.  We will get through this stronger and hopefully a little wiser.

So just an FYI
I live in mid-town NYC. And things here are crazy, BUT also very quite.
My position is on the Essential List of workers.
I am a building engineer, and responsible to make sure these massive hi-raises stay working.

A/C, water, heat etc etc..... so I will have some free time. Thankfully I am not sick nor exposed yet so I am working. And I hope everyone will be safe and stay happy in these interesting times.

Sorry I haven't been able to post over the weekend. I am considered and essential worker. I work for the state as a floor staff in a locked group home with high behavioral, mentally disabled individuals. The house always has to be staffed, and with things going there have been call ins that can cause mandatory shifts. For example, thursday I ended up working a total of 17 hours. So things like this may delay my posting. My apologizes. I will get something up as quickly as I can.
