Well its simple public records she's a P5 commercial Telepath for now. Has a salary but donates fees from doing cover jobs to charity and has a pleasant nature when not angry for a reason. She right now needs to learn feats to help with alien minds and look for threats to the Drazi Freehold. Oh then to the Alliance. In order to not overlap the story of the other telepaths I am inclined to change my initial concept a bit, but the direction I want to go is not strictly speaking something the book manages well, so the GM wanted me to check with others here and see if they mind if we fiddle with the details a bit.

The thing I have in mind is to be a Telekenetic without being a telepath first, effectively stripping out some of the prerequisites for the telekenetic class and taking it without the telepath class first.  As it happens aside from a few cute parlor tricks there isn't anything better in the telekenetic class, indeed it is missing some fairly important things.

Sorry no the Canon is a Telepath is a Telekinetic since its a rare gift and requires GM okay to take the Prestige class and it powerful. And I planned it if the GM approved it after 10th level and Drazi have 1% of Telepaths with it this talent plus they experimented to make them in many cases. Human Psi Corp did to once you know the result it was in the show. Drazi though did have what your intending born ones until the Drach killed the children in their one compound. None were socially stable but all were Telepaths to and powerful ones maybe P13+ detectable in the Mindscape.

If your character takes this and they will pay well to find you this then you better be a human, hunted to ground by Psi Corps (Psi Cops and Agents!) and be malled by experimentation flaws up the butt or least I get to make one for you no changing your mind after. All fit the Canon when they appeared and it would be hidden.


I'm going to follow the right path to get there and even I planned some Soldier levels alsp likely in the end Telepath 10/Soldier 8/Telekinetic 2 the last gift she displayed after honing her ruthless fighting instincts. You want me to drop my build to get there its okay. There are things the GM can offer me in return like wave the rules for a class I wish.

I don't know how much fiddling or bidding war the GM is inclined to, but I am fairly sure none of us are getting a 20 level build out of a 1st level game so that isn't really a meaningful point.

Julie is indeed human and tied to Psi Corps by her background, the degree of impact her particular style of experiment had is subject to some variance.

The game takes place AFTER the Human Telepath War there's NO Psi Corps but a new agency to enforce key laws.

But read the Prestige Class you must have a P Rating to use many powers that's what POWER is. Simple Telekinesis my character can do if she had this PrC as a P10 without issues. Your character if a P0 would need to take 5d4 damage rolling average and key skill rolls to use that power per round. If your say a P6 the highest the Telepathy Feat allows you would take damage.

Personally I would think a Drakh Experiment is the only way with a decent P rating of 5 or 6and a keeper on you and tracking implants to use it a P Battery with torture and kill 'switches' fits or similar set-up. A Drazi might be one with fewer ties in fact you they would still be tracking you and you would need the P rating to be one a hard roll no fudging well +1 if they experimented on you with a quirk roll etc.

If you want to do this as a feat similar to DnD cantrips that might be fine as a minor experiment breakthrough or breeding program success even then you would be a P1 to P3 I would think without powers.

Your asking our GM to do a lot of extra work for his first game I suggest ask for the last option or give it up. I'm just saying.

The P# rating is not what I am talking about, that and the skill that is called telepathy still work the same, the character just wouldn't have any of the telepath powers from the class, using the ones unlocked by Telekenetic instead.

There is no need to add extra work or make things needlessly complex, just a bit of difference in style to make things interesting.

If not I can just make a normal telepath, but that will have a lot of overlap with existing characters.

Two bloody months?! Is it a foley? If so you should head to your GP or, if not possible, an A&E to get it changed. I hope they have you on a good broad-spectrum until the C&S comes back.

Well it has big challenges but GM there is a build I did consider but one the PrC is the Missionary I would drop the Military ties to be a Telepath/Missionary from the Earth Alliance Fact Book 1st Edition. I could add it if she gets tired of fighting and starts her own Drazi Sect or joins another species one that's suitable. I mean Brother Cadfael was a crusader in the crusades and knight before becoming a monk in those novels. It might be the case she goes to the Minbari Religious Caste to protect her from angry Drazi. I'm thinking she saw maybe human Quakers being brave and good or something and leading her to a new path of Drazi Enlightenment. Or is it another cover?

If she can do her thing I can do mine a Telepath/Missionary (later on as she grows).

And its a Foley and it was replaced with a strong antibiotic given the ER Urologist was shocked and she seems to want to help me out.

First to the new player, awesome, a normal character use the 1st Edition Books for military advancement and events informally.

He has a wife and 3yo daughter and I plan to take Wealthy twice an investment package using his earlier salary plus luck a bit. They live a Poor Lifestyle though with three people one more there goes the extra money.

My two cents on Julia's Plan a HELL NO it completely violates the B5-verse canon unless she chooses and can play a Vorlon for example. A Telekinetic demands a good P Rated Telepath plus they need experience as one plus in game GM permission he shouldn't ever guarantee. If you get the required in game prerequisites he should say no even then!

There is Julia BENDING a minor thing in the Canon and said Savaging the canon. It would be on par with a Narn being a P12 Telepath in a normal birth for crying out loud. Why can't people follow the rules and work within those?

OK, I have read what some have to say.
I think for this first installment we should stick to the books.

As far as levels. I promise that every player will earn from 1 to 3 levels per "adventure".
What is an "adventurer" ?? that is the start and end of a plot, or condition

I am not experienced enough with this setting as a GM to handle things outside the normal.

and we have a firm date of 2279

So the big question here is when did the telepath war come to an end ??
I found out the answer to this question in or around 2266, so there is no PSI Corp.
BUT there are three divisions and I will be posting that information.

FYI this will make it very interesting and now even for the players.
I hope you all start posting because your input will be most important on this topic.

and if it has ended, that means Psionic Monitoring Commission is the new gov agency and I have not seen any information on this?

this is kind of big thing because my plot involved the PSI Corp, so this means I have to move it over and re-think it under a new umbrella.

There was something about the PMC in Crusade, I think there was an episode where one of the Commission agents came onboard the Excalibur to audit the second's activities to ensure he was complying with the new rules.  I have the Crusade Handbook around somewhere, I'll see what I can find.

Psi Corps in fact RUN that and Baster and others mostly P12's are plotting bastard the best Telepaths they produced. The other P12's do military support. Add in aliens they are likely more dangerous than ever. Especially when Lyta was gone.

So have fun when Drazi special ops kidnap you to experiment with under orders.

Actually Bester is dead by 2279, and but yes the PSI Cops are also part of the organization, but they are hunting down those that are considered now criminals.

And just about every race is doing experiments in the shadows, and some right in everyone's face.

The Drazi created a compound of born Telekinetics I'm pointing out the Drazi lost them to a Drachk sabotage. And these were gifted Telepaths to. If she want a target on her back be a stable one. Now if she's psycho or something it might be fun.
