The golden age of king Arryn is a century gone. the "Kingdom" of Rowick is now lead by the three houses: Ryde, Arrer and Finy. the only thing preventing the three houses from civil war is the common enemy to the north, Porcienia. For a Generation Rowick and Porcienia trade land and casualties.

It is almost fall, This years campaign Season is almost over.

Fybrook is a small farming village up stream from Heafalls, a major trading hub.  Fybrook is an unusual village. All sorts call it home.  Elder Laucian, an out of place woodelf, has a good eye and a charming presence. He win's over manny who are beaten down by the sleepless city of Heafalls.

The Dog and Duck Inn is a topsy turvy collection of added on rooms.  Like a tree ring, the Dog and Duck could be used to measure the prosperity of the past years.  Today it is filled to the rafters with song and drink. Sawdust carpets the wooden floor, somewhere a stew bubbles and fresh bread bakes.

The Church of Deneir is the second biggest building in Fybrook but the most well cared for. Inside the Church is divided up into four sections, a small shrine at the entrance, a spotless kitchen, a classroom and some beds in the back.  Everywhere there are books. The church's caretaker, Hisner, recently passed.

Things of note
Last month during a blood moon, the people of Rowick shared a dream.  A Knight in battered and bloodied full plate beckoned.  His helm was down, the visor bashed in, at his feet a broken sword. He called in a booming voice.

"Seek the grail, Save the Kingdom, journey to Frybrook, save yourself!"

Not long after rumors filled the land. The grail can grant any one wish and it lies in the heart of the Enchanted Woods beyond Frybrook.

The Enchanted Woods have always been unwelcoming but recently openly hostile.  All who enter are harried and not everyone returns.

Lord Arrer rules over this county of Rowick, he is mostly absent politicking and fighting wars.  He doesn't care who hunts in his forest so long as they pay their taxes.  Poaching is not uncommon.
