Re: Roll Call

Burying the lead - not talking about the most important subject until later, which I believe comes from newspaper articles where the headline might say something like, "Local man gone missing" and then detail when he went missing, where he's from, who his family is, what his job is, and then casually mention, "He was seeing being taken by a dragon."  Probably most of the readers would have appreciated knowing that important fact first, in that example.  ;)  Usually used to get someone involved in something small and then hit them with very vital information later, when they're invested and would have a harder time backing out.  (not always used that way, but that's the gist)

I mean, I totally get why the mayor didn't want to put the fate of the village in unreliable hands, because we could have been a bunch of hooligans and at least in the tombs we wouldn't do much damage to the town if we failed.  But Ballast considers the town turning into ice to be more vital than every other threat, as that is a 100% lethal occurrence.  Hence why he's flabbergasted.  :D

Sorry, Cumarinda is too old and more of a cook than a singer. But she and that other girl are both red headed orphans with a generally positive outlook about life.

If checking out the room you don't see anything odd.

Checking the room

So, bash the door down, or check the open passages first?  Ballast doesn't like to leave a closed door behind him, as we don't know what's in there, personally.

That's a IC thing to ask, Ballast. You can try to bash the door down if you want.

Re: Checking the room

Keep in mind 1 person to check a entire room of storage is a lot specially when she just looks around the room and not searched :)

Also Fenris is just being a barbarian lol

No problem with general info from the spot check. Wasn't expecting much there anyway, but Cumarinda wouldn't just leave the room without having some idea of what was in there.
