Re: 221 C Baker Street (WIP)

Caitlin, a lithe pale faced with tawny curls to her hair, greeted the others at the door with a short comment as she let each of them through. She was far different then the image you saw on the call box as you were rung in. She looked to Killroy to begin the conversation...

Re: 221 C Baker Street (WIP)

The Salaryman grade the woman a shallow bow of greeting when she was admitted into the apartment.

The discrepancy of appearances was worth noting, but not altogether surprising.  She just hoped the info they'd received on Wells was accurate.

The Salaryman moved into the space and found a place to stand and waited for Killroy to lay out the costs and benefits of this offer that was apparently on the table.

Lady Koi entered the apartment with a friendly smile for Caitlin and then found a place by the door where she could lean against the wall and observe.

Re: 221 C Baker Street (WIP)

Caitlin shook her head "He wants me to give that bastard a call. I want to be paid up front if I'm going to have to deal with him at all. Tried to give him a couple old hangouts to try. Said you already went to Fast Eddies" She was obviously not very happy with the situation

221 C Baker Street (WIP)

"If you called.  Could he be convinced to come see you?  Or are there other arrangements that are more typical?"  The Salaryman asked, looking for additional information regarding exactly what services they will be paying for.

We are no happier with this than you are, Phoenix says in a measured tone.  While money is an important motivation for helping us, I believe I can think of another good motivator for you.  We capture him, and he will be out of your life forever.

Caitlin shrugged at the offer "He's out of my life now." she finished her scotch "I was asked to call him, I did not want to. But I might be able to make a call and get his contact information and give him a call and see where he's at. Maybe he'll be willing to come here maybe not. Don't particularly want him to come here."

Madame, we could make it look like you were forced into it, Phoenix suggests.  Then, you would get the pleasure of seeing him forcibly restrained and carted away.

Caitlin shook her head at Phoenix "Look you want me to try and call him and find out where he's at. I can do that. It's just going to cost you. Otherwise you can try Fast Eddies again or try the other dive The Garbage Pail. He visited both regularly" she grabbed the bottle of scotch and began to pour another drink for herself.

"What will it cost us to just get his phone number, then?  Your participation excluded," Lady Koi asks the recalcitrant woman.  She is still leaning against the wall by the door, watching her and listening to her voice and intonation.

Caitlin looked at Lady Koi "200 creds" she stated bluntly before she took another drink of her scotch.

Phoenix closes his eyes a moment.  He then reaches into a pocket to pull out some old, but crisp bills.  Two hundred.  However, this number had better be good, he says as he hands the bills to the woman.

Caitlin gathers the bills from Phoenix, counts them quickly and slides them onto the table. Nodding she moves across the room to her phone and begins to scroll through it looking for something, before she jots some numbers down for you on an three day old screamsheet. "Now if you could...." she nods towards the door.

Re: 221 C Baker Street (WIP)

The Salaryman waited for Phoenix to accept and take a look at the information the woman had given them, to ensure it looked correct at least at a glance.

She then gave Caitlin a shallow bow of thanks and began exiting the apartment.

Accepting the screamsheet, he passes it to Salaryman.
Domo arigato, he thanks Caitlin in Japanese.  He stands up and gives her a small bow.  Your assistance is appreciated.  We will take our leave now.  He turns to the others and extends a hand towards the door.

Once they had assembled outside the Salaryman looked to the others.

"Unless we wish to attempt to devalue what we have just purchased."  She commented in reference to the phone number they had received.  "It would seem the only other potential course of action for meeting our assigned metrics are to attempt to locate additional information resources at the 2nd physical location which Mr. Fargo was said to have frequented."

"Right, so do we head over to the other location asap and see what we can find?  Or call the number and potentially tip him off?" Lady Koi muses aloud.  "Though I suspect he knows people are after him and dove underground already."

Re: 221 C Baker Street (WIP)

This is possible, Phoenix muses.  We can only hope that he is the narcissistic type who can not help but make a scene where ever he goes.
Though, that is a hope I would not count on.

He takes a deep breath and releases it.  I suggest we go to the other location separately, as individuals and in pairs, at staggered times.  And we wait to see if he comes in.

The Salaryman looked into the distance for the moment as she ran a quick search to see what could be found, if anything, on such a place.

"A larger team may be needed to fully support this objective."  The Salaryman stated.  "The particular details of the working environment may present an unacceptable level of risk without adequate peer to peer support."  She added as she shared with them a small amount of the statistics and headlines she'd found that painted a picture of the venue as particularly rough and dangerous, even for the CZ.
