What's in this area of the CZ in front of the Garbage Pail?  Is there enough prosperity that there's any vehicle traffic or is the truck the Arab man going to the sole motorized transport amongst what is otherwise pedestrian traffic?

If a firefight breaks out (rare for the combat zone, I know) is there old broken down junk or other cover available besides hiding behind the corner of a building?


Pretty normal stuff. Right in front of the Pail, mainly people trying to get in, trash and refuse on the ground. Burnt out data term, street lights, etc. Likely a burnt out car down the street a little and some trash cans.

Some cover but not great cover near.




Making the stun recovery means you will be able to come to your senses and "come" back to the fight.

How are vehicles identified in 2020?

Are license plates still a thing?  Some sort of electronic transponder?


Basically, is there any way to capture some sort of information regarding the truck or its occupants, which could potentially be tied back to a person or identity?


Once the guy from the club gets in the vehicle, I assume they'll be gone as we don't have a personal vehicle, and there's no other functional vehicles around which could potentially be appropriated.


So that leaves either trying to dig up info later, or starting a shootout and hoping that works out in our favor, which I'm not super optimistic about.

They would have "tags". You're hoping they are legit ones and that you could hack into a city mainframe to pull the information. Having a fixer or COP would help in this case as a friend.

figured out what's gonna happen. There isn't really an option for you guys to track them down after the fact without some serious luck going your way.

It's going to be a shoot out. But you will have some "friends" that may or may not shoot in your general direction too.

I have the scene in my head but haven't pulled the appropriate goons and such to make this work. But I will start it.

The delay Lady Koi is been on me mainly. First at trying to figure out how to best proceed as if they get away they are more or less gone with the information.

So I put it to everyone, is it okay for a slow paced game? Or would you prefer we drop it?

Our last logins for Lady Koi and Salaryman were September (granted my last post was then too).

I'm around, and I log in when I see the alert of a new post.  I know I checked in when Phoenix posted in the IC thread, but I'll admit I haven't been trying to give things a push IC or OOC while waiting for IC responses.

However unless you're interested in trying to revitalize the game through some sort of additional recruitment and maybe even a soft reboot I don't know that things will pick up.

I don't mind a slow paced game (and I'm rarely one to advocate throwing in the towel) but if it's not something folks are interested in trying to get back on its feet, it may be the better choice to call it done.

Okay. Welp I'm not a fan of the changes for RPOL but it is what it is. I'll get used to it i'm sure.


We will go for a slower paced game and I'll see if I can pick up another player or two okay with a slow paced game.

I've been using the new responsive RPOL for some time.  I use my phone almost exclusively, and it works rather well for that.

Works for me.

I've also been on the responsive version of the site since it went live for testing.

Overall, once you get familiar with the new layout, I find the changes, both good and bad, are an overall net positive.

We might have a chance to take the Arab, but then we have to deal with the boosters.  Maybe they'll mess.each other up....
Then again, we have a severely injured person who needs medical help.

Your options here atm:

A) duck and cover and hope the Arabs/boosters take care of each other. And don't hit you.Then let the dust settle and bail out after.
B) take part in the fire fight and hope that you don't take a hit yourself.

Both are risks.
